Epilogue
Romi and simmi were still fighting while Raman ran inside the cabin ,he saw ishita still laying in same position . He ran to her and cried hugging her tight while she felt happy feeling him so near to her .After much time he pulled ishita from himself and looked at her ,many of hair were on her face ,removed all the hairs from her face and spoke looking at her " ishita how can you do this to myself . I know I had promised that I will never show my face to you but I failed ,though unknowingly I was in front of you but that doesn't mean you will punish me like this . No ishita you cannot ,hamne saath rahne ki kasmein khaayi hai ,did you forget the vows we have taken at the time of our marriage . Madrasan how can you do this to me . Ishita please don't give me such a big punishment for not recognizing you . ishita please ek baar bad ek baar wapas aa jaao ,I promise I will do things as per you . Our kids ,ruhi ,adi and pihu they are too broken ,all are crying for their ishima ,aur sun tere bachche hain mujhse nahi sambhalenge ,tu wapas as aur sambhal unhe and your mother and mother in law ,they are crying and fighting ,get up and do their patch ,you know na ,you can only end their fighting ,and romi ,mihika unka patch up bhi karana hai ,papa ,appa they are too broken ,nahi hoga mujhse madrasan , tera parivaar hai tu hi sambhaal.please come back ishita . I know you are punishing me because I forget you but you know na tera raavan Kumar aisa hi hai . Is tede medhe raavan Kumar to jhaansi ki raani hi sambhal sakti hai . ishita just once , you know na how I m without you .I m just a walking dead body without you ."
He then looked into her eyes and spoke
" no ishita you can't die like this ,jaan please come back ."
I(st)- Raman ,Raman ko sab yaad as gaya ,hey murugan Raman remember me ,he is back . he can recognize me ,he knows adi and ruhi are his children ,but how should I tell him that I m alive . murugan please murugan don't let me die ,I want to live ,my husband, my kids they need me . Raman please I m alive ,mat marne do mujhe ."
Ishita pleaded him but unfortunately her plea didn't reached him . Raman was still crying hugging ishita when the nurse along with other family members entered the room . Romi and bala kept their hands on either shoulder of Raman to console him . He placed ishita gently in bed and cried in his brothers embrace looking at her again and again . When the nurse told everybody to vacant the room as ishita's body will be taken for autopsy . Listening to this Raman held Ishita's hand and spoke " no no ,I will not send ishita for autopsy ,I will not let them cut her . wo zinda hai abhi uthegi ,you don't know sister she is jkr ,if she will know that I allowed you people for autopsy , wo mujhe kachcha chaba jaayegi .Veg hai but she can eat me .(then he looked at ishita and spoke )- madrasan uth na dekh what this sister is saying ,get up and scold her ,badi jkr banti hai .
All cried looking to his state while ishita smiled listening to him and spoke (monolog)- haan raman don't let them cut me ,main zinda hoon .hope I can get up and scold her .
She thought this and got emotional ,her eyes got filled but tears couldn't roll of from her eyes .Mr bhalla signalled romi and bala to take Raman outside ,they almost dragged Raman ,while going he noticed that ishita is holding his hand , he freed himself from them and spoke
" chodo mujhe I told you all na ,meri ishita mujhe chod ke kahin nahi jaa sakti .see she is holding my hands ,all looked at his hands and got surprised ,nurse too was shocked she went and called Doctor ,he started checking ishita .
I(st)- yes Doctor check me properly ,I m alive not dead ,kitni muskil se Maine ye kiya hai .doctor please check me and declare I m alive .
She was thinking when the doctor spoke " I think you people should either let us do autopsy or do last rite of the body as rigor mortis has started as its more than four hours of death and the body will become rigid and stiff in sometimes . Mr bhalla try to took out your hand from the body or it will be difficult to make you free .
Raman made a dirty face and spoke " arey I m telling n she is alive and is holding my hand ,you check properly ".
The doctor didn't argued ,he signalled family member to take care of Raman . Ishita again got sad knowing doctors don't want to check her thoroughly as they had assumed that she is dead . Romi abd bala took Raman outside , made him sign the necessary papers and family too the body from hospital .
Later in house ,the ladies dressed Ishita's body in her bridal attire and Raman was called to fill her partition . He filled her partition and again saw her thoroughly ,that time he noticed that her eyes are wide open and wet . He closed her eyes and spoke " romi she is alive , see her eyes are wet ,Maine aansu poche iske ".
All cried seeing him too broken but didn't thought about his words .Soon ishita was taken for cremation ,the ritual of last rites started and they placed the body between logs . Though Raman was doing the rituals but his eyes were on ishita only ,as if he was just waiting for some movement in her body but sadly it didn't happened ,when the last log was about to be placed on her face Raman got up and ran to her ,he removed the few logs and spoke hugging her tight " ishita I still cannot believe that you left me ,just give me one sign that you are alive .ishita don't go leaving me like this ".
He cried bitterly again hugging her tight ,while she too cried on his state and luckily this time a tear fell from her closed eyes and rolled down from eyes to her ears which didn't go unnoticed by him. He removed all the logs and picked her in his arms .All got surprised on his action and asked what he is doing ,he shouted loudly " meri ishita zinda hair and I will not let her die ".
Romi and bala was coming to him when he spoke " I m not mad ,I m alright ,see ishita is crying moreover her body is still warm .padhe likhe to hain hi aap sab , you all must he knowing that a dead body become cold and stiff but see Ishita's body is neighter stiff nor cold ,it means she is alive . I don't know what has happened to her but she is alive ."
He just completed his sentence and saw police car coming towards them . The car stopped and cop ran towards the spot and ordered to stop the cremation ritual .All looked at him with confusing eyes while he cleared that they had doubt if ishita is dead or alive . All got surprised listening to this while the inspector cleared that they got an injection and syringe on the spot and after the test they got to know that it contains toxin because of which a person can get paralyzed ,may be it was injected to ishita ,because of which she is in this state .
Ishita was rushed to hospital after that where a specialist was called ,he checked Ishita's body thoroughly and declared that she is alive and had got paralyzed because of that toxin . He also prescribed the antidote for it ,soon the antidote was brought and given to ishita .Now everybody was just waiting for ishita to came back in senses .
After a long wait for whole 22 hours ishita gained senses , Raman was still sitting beside her ,looking at her only . His eyes twinkled seeing her looking at him ,he smiled widely while his eyes got moist ,she opened her arms for him and she engulfed him in her while he spoke
"tu wapas aa gayi madrasan ,main mar raha tha tere bina ".
I- that's why I came back ,as I can't see you in pain .
R- don't ever try to go leaving me like this .
I- kabhi bhi nahi .
R- I love you a lot .
I- love you too .
Before they can talk further they heard knock at the door,both made faces and looked each other while ishita signalled him to open the door .
