" ahhh...haa..."She wakes up with a jerk breathing heavily...Slowly moving her quivering hands on her forehead trying to touch the vermilion hoping it to be a nightmare...only to find it still as fresh as it was when it was filled
She gets up from the bed and goes infront of the mirror in hurry still breathing heavily...she watches her from top to bottom and vigorously rubs her forehead to get off the vermilion off her head...unable to rub it off she starts throwing everything which her hands could reach only to find her mother standing in front of her trying to hold her
"Ishu...kya kar rahi ho kanna...tum apne aap ko chot pahuncharahi ho " only to go in deaf ears...she continues throwing everything in room shouting in top of her voice
"Dhoka diya hain tum logon ne amma...dhoka diya hain mujhe..." She continues throwing everything...tears continuously flowing from her eyes
" Ishu Meri baat toh suno kanna " she pleads her daughter with tears in her eyes
She was about to shout when she sees the thing she throwed rolled and stopped at a pair of shoes...she observes the owner of the shoes and suddenly stops shouting
" Chillana kyu bandh kardiya hain bacha...chillaona "
She doesn't reply anything and sees her with continues hiccups
" Kya Raman se rishta todne ke baad mujhe apna maa maan na chodh diya hain?...lekin ishu humara rishta toh usse pehle ka tha na puttar...jab tum choti bachi thi tabse..itti si thi tum jab tune pehli baar mujhe maa bulaya tha aur ab isi maa se tu apna maa ka hakh cheen rahi hain" she asks with tears in her eyes
Ishita hugs her immediately and continuous her cries
" Shh Bacha...chup kar jaa...shhh "She tries to calm ishita tears falling from her eyes too
"madhu tu mennu apne kudi ke saath akela chodh degi?" Before madhu could say anything ishita comes out of toshi embrace
" Nahi..please...please mujhe akela chodh dijiye...mujhe kisi se koyi baat nahi karni hain...please..."she says in between her hiccups joining her hands infront of them
"Aap sab ne mujhe dhoka diya hain...aap ne bhi maa...sab ne..sab ne dhoka diya hain" she cries vigorously
Madhu moves out unable to see her daughter's state
" aise nah keh Puttar...please shaanth hoja bacha."she consoles her and makes her sit on the bed as she sits infront of her
Toshi takes her hand in hers while she still has tears rolling from her eyes
" maa...maa..mujhe...mujhe usse shaadi nahi karni hain...please usse kahin bejh do...mujhe uske saath nahi rehna hain.." She cries continuously
" Puttar shaanth hoja " she tries to console her
" Aap sab logon ne mujhe dhoka diya hain maa...aap sab ne...kyun maa? Kyun?..."
" Humne tujhe koyi dhoka nahi diya hain puttar...tu hi batha hum bala aise kyun karenge "
" Dhoka nahi diya hain??..sach me maa...toh yeh Kya hain??" She says holding her mangalsutra and showing it to her " boliye maa yeh Kya hain??" She starts crying again
"Bacha...lekin tu ne toh yeh shaadi apni marzi se kiya tha na"
" Marzi se...aap ko lagta hain ki jo kuch bhi usne mere saath kiya hain...mein uske baad yeh shaadi marzi se karungi??..mein kisi aur se shaadi karne waali thi maa...patah nahi patah nahi kaise yeh sab..." She gets up from her place
" Ishu teri shaadi issi se hone wali thi aur issi se huyi hain bacha..." Toshi reaches her
"Raman hi woh insaan hain jis se teri shaadi hone wali thi...Raman hi ruhi ka baap hain ishu jisse teri shaadi horahi thi...ruhi raman ki beti hain"
This was the whole new shock again...her whole world just came crushing down making her knees weak by the new revelation making her fall on the ground...tears not ready to stop coming out from her eyes
Toshi sits down along with her
"Ishu kuch bol bacha...ishu mennu patah hain ki tu naraz hain aur hona bhi chahiye...lekin Bacha humne jo kuch bhi kiya hain..teri khushi ke liye kiya hain..humari sirf ek galti thi ki humne yeh Baat tumse chupayi hain lekin bacha agar yeh tumhe pehle batah dete toh yeh shaadi ke liye tum maanthi??isliye yeh sab karna pada...bacha hum bas tum dono ko saath mein dekhna chahte the aur ruhi ko bhi..."
" Ishu kuch bol puttar" she shakes her
" Mujhe akele chodh dijiye...please" she manages to say this between her tears
" Lekin..."
"Please maa...please..."
" Tikhe Puttar...lekin tu kuch bhi karne se pehle ek baar uss bachi ke baare mein sochna jis ke wajah se tu ek anjaan admi se bhi shaadi karne ke liye thayaar thi"
