That day Raman along with Ishita and Mrs Bhalla went to hospital. They met to dr, she checked Ishita and baby and told everything is good till now but they have to take care of her for rest of months too. Raman asked many questions related to her and baby's health. They did sonography and showed the baby to them. Ishra were so happy. Then all came back. From that day onward, Raman started taking care of ishita. He uses to have very less time at home as he used to go early in evening and come late in morning as he got busy with a case but he took care of Ishita whatever time they got together as Ishita used to come back from office at lunch time only to spend sometime with Raman. Ishita had also seen his changed behaviour, a little more caring towards his family, she assumed that there must be something which him worried more about his family and she thought it must be some case but didn't talk to him. She also took care of him and family along with Appa. In short everything was going smoothly. Ishra came more closer.
One day, Raman came back to home at 11 am and started shouting for Mrs Bhalla. He was continuously calling Neelu and Mrs. Bhalla but no one came. He was looking for them when Ishita came out of her room and saw him worriedly shouting and searching. She called him from back. He turned to her and was surprised to see her at home this time. He asked her whereabouts of everyone and She told him that Neelu and Mrs Bhalla are on terrace for some work, Appa is in his room, Swati went to college and Mr Bhalla went to office. He immediately called Mr Bhalla and Swati to confirm if they are fine and told them to be careful and cut the call. He was thinking when something clicked in his mind and asked to Ishita,
Raman-What are you doing here at this time? Are you fine? Tumhari tabyat to thik hai Na. Tum...
Ishita-Relax Raman, I'm completely fine. Doctor is coming to check Appa after sometime so uncle told me to stay here only.
Raman nodded and went to his room. After half an hour, Raman came back for breakfast after taking bath and saw Ishita there. She served for both of them and before he could ask, she herself said that she thought to give company to him so she ate only fruits in morning. Both had breakfast. After that Ishita told him to go and sleep but he was denying saying he want to know about Appa's condition from dr but Ishita force fully sent him. After sometime Dr came and checked Appa, talked to Ishita and Mrs. Bhalla about his improving health and left. Ishita and Mrs Bhalla too went to take rest for sometime. In lunch timing, Raman had his lunch in his room only as he was doing some work. After completing his work, he went to Ishita's room and saw her doing her work. She was confused with something and Raman offered help. She happily agreed and be helped her. (He knows few things about business.)
After completing work, both went to Appa's room to spend some time with him as per their daily routine. In evening when Mr Bhalla and Swati came back, Raman told everyone that he appointed some guards for their security in night time and next day and told them to be extra careful till next day. He introduced all of them to guards and left for his room to get ready for his duty. He didn't say anything but they could see him extra careful towards them from last week and today he was just too worried. Mrs Bhalla was about to go behind him to give him much needed strength but Mr Bhalla hold her hand and signalled towards Ishita who had already left behind him.
Ishita entered inside and saw him sitting on bed thinking deeply. She could see him worried and sat beside him keeping her hand on his hand. Raman saw her and got up to hide his emotions,
R-Ishita, tum yahan.
Ishita made him sit again and said wiping a tear from the corner of his eyes,
I-Itna nervous Kyu ho?
R-Nervous.. Main...nhi to. I'm fine.
Ishita(Holding his hand more firmly)- I was feeling alone few months back, that time you told me holding my hand that I can share anything with you and you never left my hand after that day. So now I'm telling you that You can share it with me, Raman. And I will also never leave your hand whatever situation comes.
He looked at her and she nodded in yes confirming it and the next moment he hugged her and tears started flowing from his eyes. She rubbed his back for sometime and after few minutes, he broke the hug feeling light. She again asked him and he told her. There was a case of human trafficking which was handled by a senior officer. Few people used to kidnap children and young boys and girls too from different regions of Delhi and send them outside Delhi in night time through different routes. The senior officer worked hard over it and could finally caught them in three months, he even got the proofs against them. Case was filed but before court's hearing, officer was killed by them in an accident and they removed all proofs, case closed. This all happened before Raman's transfer. Now his senior told Raman to investigate over it. Raman investigated secretly and collected new proofs but he did it with only few secret officers so that this news couldn't spread and reached to culprits. He secretly reopened the case and when hearing date was decided, this news spread and culprits got notice one week ago from now. From last one week, they are trying to threat and trouble Raman to take back this case but he didn't. Then they started trying to trouble his family. Hearing is on next day that's why Raman is worried more.
R-I don't care about me Ishita, I'm just worried for you all. Only one night is left, they will be punished tomorrow at any cost. They are just troubling me as they didn't get to know where I had kept the proofs. They tried to harm Maa yesterday in market but thankfully his plan didn't work out. But this last night they will do something more so I'm just worried for you all. I can't stay here too as...
I-We can understand Raman. Don't worry we will take care of ourselves. (to lighten his mood)-Aur vaise bhi, police ki family hai, koi humhe dara nhi sakta. In fact, agar koi aaya Na to hum unhe unki nani yaar dila denge.
Raman wiped his tears smiling lightly and said remembering something,
R-I'm not worried for you but my baby and rest of the family. Tumhara to mujhe pta hai, tum to Jhansi ki rani bankar unhe nani yaad dila dogi.
I(confused)-Jhansi ki rani??
R(smiling)-Ha, us din nhi tumne kaise un badmash gundo ki dhulai ki thi. Kya maara tha tumne, Hamare liye to kuch bacha hi nhi tha karne ke liye.
I-Maine,? Kab Kia aisa?
R-Hmmm. Think about it.
Saying so he went to change leaving a confused Ishita behind while Mr and Mrs Bhalla were standing outside the room and smiling satisfied that their son is getting absolute correct life partner who will stand strong beside him in every situation and will become his strength not his weakness. Both went from there. While Ishita was thinking when did she fight with someone in last few months but she remembered very well that nothing happened like that from the time she met Raman. After 10minutes Raman came out wearing his uniform and as he expected, Ishita was busy in thinking. He ignored her and started getting ready . Ishita noticed him and asked when did he see her fighting but he was not in a moodto end the suspense so soon.
Raman- Kya Ishita, itni jyada desperation ek choti si baat janne ke liye. Not good.
Ishita-It's not a small thing Raman. Tell Na please.
R-Hmmm, you are right, its not a small thing. You know why.
I-Why?
He took her in front of mirror and said back hugging her,
R-Because when I saw you fighting with those bad boys, I prayed to Mata rami to give me a life partner like you but see she gave me you only. So that day was very special for me.
He said smiling looking at her through mirror while she too smiled looking at him. Raman noticed the time and said,
R-Ok, now I'm getting late. You take care of yourself, all and baby. And please call me if you have any problem. Okay.
Saying so he gave a quick side hug to her and a light kiss on her forehead and left from there before she could again ask him while it took few seconds for Ishita to realise what happened and the moment she realised that he run away from the situation, she too followed him quickly calling him from behind but he didn't stop and as usual, first he went to Appa's room and then in hall. He met everyone and gave instructions while Ishita was asking him continuously but he just went away and rest of all were enjoying it.
At night time, after dinner all were going to their room when suddenly five men came inside beating guards. They came inside and told to Mr Bhalla to call his son. Mr and Mrs Bhalla looked at each other and then understanding the matter, they denied to call. Goons again asked them angrily to call Raman. This time Ishita told them to go from here silently otherwise they have to face consequences. A goon pushed her and she was about to fall down but Mr and Mrs Bhalla hold her at right time. She kept her hand on her stomach and thinking her baby could get hurt, she got angry. All saw that they will not listen to them like this. Soon they started fighting with them along with guards. Mr Bhalla told Ishita to inside as she is pregnant but she denied. Goons heard it and thought to harm her. Somehow a goon got a stick from which Mr Bhalla was beating them and walked towards Ishita who was beating another goon, he was about to attack on her from behind but before that Swati and Neelu came with sprays and sprayed it in his eyes. Swati and Neelu did it with rest of too. Ishita took the spray from Neelu and told her and Mrs Bhalla to bring ropes. Soon they tied all the goons in hall only and guards beat them more and they lost their conscious due to pain. They decided not to inform Raman about this. One of the goon's phone rang and guard checked it which reads "Boss". Ishita told him to cut the call and leave a message that they are working on the plan and they will meet him in morning directly half an hour before hearing. Guard did same and they got response too. Ishita told them to keep the mobile safe as a proof to know who is this boss for case hearing. Mr and Mrs Bhalla along with Swati stayed in hall that day while Ishita and Neelu stayed in Mr Iyer's room, they couldn't sleep whole night thinking of all this only. (Guards were from police only.)
Next morning, guards called more officers and they took goons to police station before they could gain their senses. The culprit/boss got to know this through his secret men.
In Bhalla house, all got ready. Mrs Bhalla light diya in temple and all prayed for Raman and the success of this case. None had anything as all were worried. Mrs Bhalla somehow made Ishita to have juice. All were sitting in hall only and watching the news about same case, whole media was covering it. Finally, the case hearing started, all were trying to get a glimpse of Raman but he was nowhere. All were worried, they tried to ask guards but they said that Raman must be hiding from the crow as anyone can harm him in crowd and secondly, he is the only one who know about proofs. After two hours finally, they saw the news that hearing was successful and culprits got punished. Bhallas tried to know about Raman but they just said that Raman will be coming back at home after sometime. Mr and Mrs Bhalla went to temple. One more hour passed but there was no trace of Raman. Ishita was getting worried and finally she saw Raman coming inside with the help of two police officers as he was injured. Ishita's eyes got filled seeing him like this but she composed herself and run to him. He saw Ishita and said he is fine. Ishita instructed officers to take him to room. They took him to room and told that some goons attacked on him in morning and he got injured, they also told that he denied to inform anyone about this that's why they didn't tell them earlier. They left after instructing Ishita about his medicines and all. Ishita didn't look at Raman and made him lay comfortably arranging pillows and all. She was going out when Raman hold her hand and made her sit beside him. She still didn't look at him and her eyes got filled. Raman could see her tears in her eyes and said,
Raman-I'm totally fine Ishita. These are small wounds, don't cry. Jyada kuch nhi hua hai, choti si chot hai, thik ho jaayegi aur...
He couldn't complete when ishita hugged him tightly hurting him a little but he suppressed his pain and hugged her trying to consoling her while her tears started flowing from her eyes...
Here I'm ending this part. I cut the hospital scene for future memory, so it will in some upcming update. Waiting for reviews...
