Toshiji later told that ishita was all alone ,no one was there to take care of ishita so she brought ishita to bhalla house .

She even told raman to marry her ,he got happy from inside but didn't showed up .

Part-6

Next day, Raman wake up early morning as per his habit and got ready for morning walk. He came out of his room and was going downstairs but stopped in front of Ishita's room. He wanted to check her but shrugged it and went down only to see Ishita sitting in hall in track suit and doing something in her mobile. He went to her and tapped on her shoulder gaining her attention. She got up at once and wished him Good morning. He wished her back and asked what she is doing early morning.

I-Actually I had a habit for morning walk and exercise. I was going out but door is locked, Auntiji must be having the keys and she is sleeping so I thought to wait here only.

R(smiling)-Then u should forget about ur morning walk.

I-Why?

R-Yeh punjabiyon ka ghar hai. Yahan itni jldi nhi uthte. And u r waiting for my nother India, vo to bilkul bhi nhi uthengi. That's why me and papa always have a spare key.

He said showing her the key and was going to open the door but turned in mid and said to Ishita who was looking at him only,

R-If u want u can join me for morning walk, I'm also going in nearby garden.

I-Ok.

Both left for morning walk. Both were not saying anything and just walking in garden that to be slowly. Raman could feel her nervousness and thought to give her space and secondly he himself not able to concentrate. Thinking so he told her that he saw one of his friend so he is going to him and she could continue with her exercise and walk freely garden only and he will call her after half an hour to go back to home. She asked if he has her number to which he said yes and went away making Ishita relieved. She took a breath of relief and started her walk freely while Raman smiled seeing her carefree in her normal avatar hiding behind a tree as he lied to her about his friend to remove her nervousness and awkwardness in front of him. He went to opposite direction but an eye if she is ok. After half an hour he called her and both came back home, this time with little conversation as Raman tried to change her mood and her thoughts as he could see that may be she is trying to show that she is fine but she still didn't forget subbu's betrayal. Raman was telling her about many funny incidents that happened with him that is of some drunkards or the small robbers or anything else during his duty. She was hearing, smiling and laughing carefree that made Raman somewhere relax. Ishra entered the Bhalla house and Toshiji saw them laughing together who just came out of her room after getting ready and sent a silent prayer to keep both happy always like this. Both left to their rooms while Toshiji went to kitchen to prepare breakfast.

After getting ready, Raman came for breakfast only to see Ishita helping Toshiji in settling table. She was all ready for office in long kurti and leggings with a pony, simple but beautiful. Mr Bhalla called Raman breaking his trance. All settled on table. Swati had also came. Toshiji and Swati served all. Toshiji served Raman Aloo ke paranthe making him happy.

R-Wao, aloo ke paranthe. My favourite. U r amazing Maa. Kya bat hai, aajkal aapko bada pyaar aa rha hai apne iss bete par. Kal rat ko rajma chawal or aba loo ke paranthe. Kuch special hai kya?

T(stammering)-Special... special kya hoga puttar. Kuch special nh hai...Ab apne bete ke liye itna to kar hi sakti hu main.

Mr Bhalla and Swati were laughing silently while Ishita was just looking down making Raman confused.

R-Papa kuch bat hai kya aap log has kyu rhe ho?

I-Koi bat nhi hai vo bas aise hi, haina uncleji.

Mr Bhalla-Wah Toshiji, Ishita puttar to itne kam samay mein hi sach mein aapki beti ban gayi hai. Aapko bacha rhi hai.

R-Koi mujhe btayega ki ho kya rha hai.

Mr Bhalla-Main btata hu Raman. Tu jo itna khush ho rha ki teri maa tera favourite khana bna rhi hai to beta ji yeh sab Ishita puttar ki pasand hai.

R-Kya?

Mr Bhalla-Coincidently, Ishita puttar ka bhi yeh sab favourite hai or teri maa ne uska favourit khana bnaa hai.

R-Oh teri, tabhi main sochu ki maa ko mujh par itna pyaar aa rha hai.

T-Chup kar.

R(thinking)-kya bat hai raman, teri to lottery lag gayi. Madrassan to pahle se hi Punjabi mein dubbed hai. Too good.

All had their food and Raman said that he will be late today as he will be busy in security arrangements for family function of some minister so not to wait for him. Ishita was going to feed Mr Iyer when swati said that she will feed him and she should go office. Mr Bhalla and Ishita and Raman left for their respective work.

It was 1pm when Raman came back home. He had his dinner outside so went to his room and changed into his night clothes. Before going to bed he went to check all house as per his habit. He checked all and at last he checked the door of terrace stairs which was open. He went up only to see Ishita sitting there holding a pic and looking at pic with blank face while tears were flowing from her eyes. He felt bad for her and went to her only to see her looking at the old pic of her parents. He said to her sitting beside her,

R-Ek mahan insan ne kaha hai ki dukh baatne se kam hot hai.

Ishita got startled and tried to hide her tears wiping them,

R-Vaise to koshish karne walo ki har nhi hoti par tum jo koshish kar rhi ho vo bekar hai.

I-Nothing like that. I'm sleepy. Good night.

Saying she was about to get up but Raman hold her hand and asked to sit. She was notlistening and asking to leave her hand but he didn't. At last he asked her to sit sternly. She sat there lifelessly and tears flew from her eyes. Soon she started crying and Raman couldn't stop himself and side hugged her. He consoled her rubbing her back and after sometime she stopped crying and both parted. Raman asked her,

R-Missing ur parents?

She nodded and he asked,

R-If u want u can share it with me, I will not judge u. I mean...

I-I know what u want to say and know. Even I want to pour out my pain in front of someone who will just hear me and will not judge me. And I know u will not judge me as if u want u would have done it. And u already know many things.

She looked at him and he just signed her to continue.

I-I was very small when I lost my Amma. I don't even remember how she looks like. I just know about her as Appa used to tell me from childhood. Appa acted like my father as well as mother. He was a businessman but he never left me on the mercy of servants. He was always with me. He just used to give me to my Daimaa, Swati's mother. She was a motherly figure for me, she used to love me like her own daughter even after she gave birth to her own daughter and son. (Raman gave a confused look to which she explained) Swati lost her parents and brother in an accident six years ago. Swati was saved as that time she was with me. U know what I used to see me in her, difference was I was very small and had my father but she was alone. I and appa handled her like my little sister. My aim in my life was just to study hard and become successful as my appa wanted. When last year first time I got the best youngest businesswoman award, Appa was on cloud nine and I was too shocked to react as I didn't expected that. I never ever thought of any marriage, I was never interested in bf-gf. My classmates used to call me very boring. May be every girl think of their dream boy but I never allowed my mind to go towards that. When Appa told me about marriage proposal with Subbu, I was shocked and I didn't know to whom I should talk. I somehow denied to Appa andcalled him back to delhi but he... he met with...accident. I didn't want to lose my Appa so I got trapped in Subbu's drama and without thinking twice, I agreed to marry him. I was lost in my grief and didn't think rationally and went in the flow. They used to be nice with me and I thought that they r good. Subbu and me...

She stoped looking down and Raman pressed her hand to assure her and she continued,

I-Subbu and me were never a normal couple. I never loved him. In beginning I thought he lovs me an cares for me. As the situation was not good at the time of our marriage so he ...he never tried to...to come close to me and he told me that e wanted to give time to me. I..I thought he is so caring. Then Subbu and his parents started changing, they got busy in themselves. He never tried to make any...physical relation with me. I was all worried about my Appa. I even didn't know when he used to come or go or never come home whole night...

Ishita was saying looking down and Raman was giving her support when she got weak.

I-One day he came late in night and that to be drunk. That day Swati needed my help in her studies so I helped her and came back to my room only to see Subbu drinking. I tried to stop him and he just started to come close to me in his drunken state only. I ... I...I couldn't stop him as legally we were husband and wife. In morning, he didn't remember what happened between us. After that day, I started distancing myself from him as I was feeling his touches as.. dirty. His touches were just... full of lust... After almost one month, I got to know that I was pregnant. I didn't know I should feel good or bad. Swati saw my reports and got to know. Next two days I was trying to inform Subbu but he didn't gave a second to hear me. That day...I.. I heard him talking to someone that he will reach to that hotel in night and his disgusting lines. I was shocked and I also reached to that hotel and saw him with a man. He gave him a bundle of rupees and went with a girl in the room. They were so..

R-No need to say anything. Stop crying for that shameless person.

I-U had seen me na as u were following Subbu that day.

R-Yes I saw u there that's why I knew it that he was behind all this but he put the blame on u.

I-Do din mein zindagi badal gayi.This is all. That's why I didn't want to say anyone about my pregnancy. I was thinking to abort this baby but then I thought that it was not his fault. It was my destiny where its written that I will never get happiness or someone's love. That's all about me. Leave it. Now I want to live for my baby and Appa. And thank you so much to listen to my nonsense.

I-How??

R-Friends?

He asked forwarding his hand while Ishita was looking at him.

R-Itna bhi bura nhi hu ki dost bhina bna sako.

Ishita shaked her hands with him and smiled.

R-Its very late. We should go now.

He said getting up. Ishita was getting up when her leg got pain due to sitting for long. Raman picked her in his arms asnd started taking her down. She tried to deny but he didn't hear. She was looking at him while he was looking straight but can see her looking at him. He made her ly on bed and covered her and switched off the lights. He was going when he turned and said,

R-good night and we all love u.

I-Good night.

Ishita answered him in the flow but then realised his words and saw at the direction only to see he had already left. She thought of his words and how he shared her pain and slept while Raman came to his room and slept smiling at his own words...
