Part-11

Ishita was helping the ladies when she received a call. She went out and came back after some time with a man of her age. Mihika got happy seeing him and hugged him.

M – So finally you are here..

N – Of course. How can I miss my little sister’s engagement?

Ishmi smiled. There were only ladies and Romi, she introduced him to them.

I – Auntiji, yeh mera friend hai, Nitin Bhatia, maine bataya tha na. Appa ke best friend Bhatia uncle. Daimaa ki family ke bad bas yahi ek family hai hamari. Dost bhi aur bhai bhi hai yeh mera.

He greeted everyone and took their blessings. Ladies got busy with the preparations. Nitin felt that he had seen them somewhere. Then he met Romi also. Ishita took him to their room. As she entered her room, she saw Preeta and her friends there. She went to them while Nitin waited at the door only.

I – Kya hua? Koi problem hui kya?

Rajni – Actually, vo auntiji ne baccho ko Preeta ki dresses di thi iske room mein rakhne ke liye lekin unhone confusion mein is room mein rakh di to bas vhi lene aaye the.

I – Oh. Acha hua Preeta tum yahi mil gayi, wait, main tumhe kisi se milwati hu.

Ishita signaled him to come inside who was feeling awkward. She brought him in front and made Nitin and Preeta stand face to face making them surprised.

I – Meet, he is four in one, my friend, batch mate, brother and colleague, Nitin Bhatia and Nitin, she is the beautiful bride, Preeta Bhalla.

Both were just looking at each other, then Nitin smiled and said,

N – Hello, nice to meet you. Many many Congratulations.

P – Thank you so much.

She replied with a smile. Romi also came there.

Ro – Arey, Nitin come, I will show you the room.

N – Thanks but that’s not needed. I can’t stay here..

He said while Preeta looked at him.

I – What do you mean? Tum engagement mein..

N – Ohho, pehle sun to le. Actually, mujhe pas ke ek sahar mein kuch niptana hai aur mihika ki engagement, uski preparation karni thi, to tumhari help karne ke liye main jaldi aa gaya. Don’t worry, I’ll not miss my sister’s engagement. In fact, jaldi hi baki sab bhi aa jaayenge. I’m coming directly from New York, ghar bhi nhi gaya, airport se seedha yaha. I had already arranged for my stay..

Ro – Engagement mein abhi hai, preparations ke liye bhot time milega, abhi meri behan ki shadi enjoy kijiye.

N – Shadi.. I can’t promise you but will try..

Rajni – Romi shayad inhe hamare arrangements pasand nhi aaye..

N – No no aisi koi bat nhi hai aur the great wedding planner, Raman Bhalla ki arrangements kisko pasand nhi aayengi.

I – Nitin, please na, see you complete your work as soon as possible and then attend the wedding, uncleji, auntiji, dadaji daiji sab log bhot bar puch chuke hai sabke bare mein, jab tak baki sab nhi aate, at least tum to ruk jao.. please.

Nitin looked at her and then thought,

N – Ishita, tumhe kaise batau.. ek to mujhe confirm nhi hai ki yeh log mere bare mein jante nhi hai ya yad nhi hai, ek saal ho gaya hai aur aisa kuch khas nhi hua tha ki.. ho sakta hai in logo ko main yad hi na hu. But bad mein yad aa gaya to.. Kya karu..

He was thinking when Romi and Ishita requested him and he agreed.

Ro – Preeta, tu ja jaldi se taiyar ho ja, tujhe bulane hi wale hai neeche.

Preeta nodded and left with her friends. Romi took him to show his room.

Kangna bandhana and Chooda chadhna ceremonies started. Preeta was brought and sat in the middle and the family were doing the needful while Ishmi were watching it sitting aside with Nitin. Nitin was looking disturbed while Preeta was happy feeling her family’s love but whenever her eyes fell on nitin, both felt awkward. Ishita noticed this and talked to nitin who informed her,

N – Do you remember, maine tumhe ek bar bataya tha ki ek rishta aaya tha mere liye..

I – ha, jis ladki ki photo dekhte hi tumhe pasand aa gayi thi but due to your hard time and situation at that time, tumne saaf mna kar dia tha aur jisse tum kabhi bhool nhi paaye..

She was saying when she realized and looked at him shockingly.

N – Yes, you are thinking it right. Preeta was that girl..

I – Okay, now I got it. But one second, tum kuch…

N – Arey nhi.. kuch galat mat sochna. Yes, I agree mujhe vo aaj bhi yad hai but.. ha, mauka milta to jarur sochta uske bare mein but if she is getting someone better than me and she and her family is happy which she really deserves then I’m happy for her. Trust me.

Ishita smiled. Raman who was passing from there saw him and came to them.

R - Do minute tumse bat karni hai.

N - Yeah sure.

Raman took Nitin aside and said,

R - Preeta, meri behn ne kaha tha ki tum ek acche insan ho. Past mein jo hua…

N - See Raman, i don’t know tum mere baare mein kya sochte ho. I just want to clarify that whatever happened in the past was past and I’m very happy and I really wish ki she is getting someone better than me. I assure you, meri taraf se koi problem nhi hogi.

Raman nodded.

N - I hope you are not angry with me..

R - Frankly speaking, pehle tum par gussa aaya tha par phir…. leave it. past tha. Bhul jate hai. Let’s start a new beginning. Rishta judne wala hamara. And yes, mujhe yeh kehna tha ki tumhe sirf maine, papa ne ya Preeta ne dekha tha bas, so it will be better agar yeh kisi ko pta na chale.. I mean..

N - It’s totally fine. I understand.

Both shook hands and Raman left. Ishita came to him and asked the matter.

N - Nothing, bas ek bhai ka pyar khinch laya tha..

Ishita smiled. Nitin received a call and then informed her that he is going for some work. He immediately left. After the rituals, Preeta was in her room with her friends. She was looking disturbed, her friends asked her but she denied. Raman came there and asked her friends to leave them alone.

R - Kya hua?

P - Nothing bhai.

R - Bhai se jhooth bolegi? Preeta shadi hai teri aaj aur tu disturbed hai, agar yeh sirf normal nervousness hai to.. thik hai lekin agar koi aur bat hai to you know na, tu apne bhai se kuch bhi share kar sakti hai.

Preeta put her head on his shoulder.

P - Mere bhai to mere man ki har bat bina kahe hi samajh jate hai to mujhe kya hoga.

R - Nitin?

P - Nhi bhai. Ha suddenly yaha dekha to.. but I’m fine. I was just thinking ki aaj mera is ghar mein akhiri din..

R - Ek thappad lagaunga agar aisa kuch kaha to. Who told you ki yeh akhiri din hai? Yeh ghar tera tha hai aur hamesha rahega. Bas thoda door ja rhi hai humse, yeh sab rishte jaise the vaise hi rahenge. Got it?

Both brother and sister got emotional and shared some sweet time together.

All the rituals went smoothly. Later in the evening, Ishita’s daimaa, her husband, son and Bhatias, her uncle and aunty also reached to attend the wedding. Bhatias were also surprised to know about Preeta being Romi’s sister. Ishita got ready for the evening and was going out talking over mobile phone to some office employee. Other side, Raman was also coming from the opposite side hurriedly and both collided. Raman was about to shout at the person but the moment he saw her, his voice was lost seeing her beauty while his eyes got fixed on her only. Ishita felt awkward seeing him looking at her. She hung the call. He was just standing, just looking at her only while she was waiting, either he would say something or just go but nothing happened. She called him only to hear,

R (still lost in her looks) - beautiful.

Ishita looked at him while he said again that she was really looking gorgeous, making her smile. She was about to say something while Raman changed his expressions and said moving away from her.

R - Smile kya kar rhi ho.. aise make up karke aur.. itni costly designer dress pehn kar.. to.. koi bhi sundar lage. Ab hato, tum mera rasta rok kar khadi ho..

He said a little harshly, making her confused. He went from there.

R (thinking) - Shit. Yeh kya kia, Itna rude behave kia Ishita se.. par kya karta. Vo chalte phirte spy camera jo dikh gaye the, kuch samajh nhi aaya aur aisa nhi karta to bekar ka syappa.. Bad mein sahi time dekh kar Ishita se bat kar lunga. I hope she will understand.

Ishita saw him going and got confused.

I (thinking) - Pehle khud tareef karte hai aur phir aise rudely bat karte hai. What does he think of himself? I will not talk to him next time.

Ishita came with man of her age she introduced him to romi and ladies saying he is her friend brother and family ishita introduced Nitin and preeta they were feeling akward Nitin thought how preetas family will react seeing him preeta was feeling akward Nitin told ishita about the matrix Nitin and raman scene was nice raman and preeta scene was nice raman is stupid he was lost in ishita he said beautiful but I think seeing his grandparents he did that ishita decided not to talk with him next time
