Adi could see that Ishita is crying but still arguing with Raman instead of pacifying her.

Actually adi is not this way, if really Ishita is feeling bad for this, then he would have gone the emotional way asking Ishita how she could think that he would spare someone who calls her sauteli maa. Ishita would instantly melt for his words.
