PART 8
Raman was driving towards Ishita's house while all were silent lost in their own thoughts. Mr iyer and adiru were worried for ishita while Mr and Mrs bhalla were thinking, what's going on in Raman's mind. And Raman,all want is to talk with ishita.
Soon they reached, Raman parked the car in front of her house, adiru opened the car's door and ran towards the house, appa too went behind them. Raman and his family was behind them.
Adiru knocked the door and said-mumma, dalwaza kholo, aapke adi luhi aaye hai. (mumma open the door, ur kids r here.)but ishita didn't open the door.
Appa too knocked the door only to get no response. Adiru start crying worriedly.
Adi-nanu, mumma dalwaza kyun nahi khol lahi. He said crying, seeing him crying Ruhi too start crying. While appa start banging the door scared of the unknown.
Appa-ishu, open the door. Please kanna open the door. He was saying and banging the door only to get no response from inside.
Raman and his family reached and saw them struggling.raman asked the matter, appa told him that ishita is not opening the door.
Raman got shocked hearing this and all he could remember was her words -i can't live without my kids, if someone take them away, I will die.
Raman -aap log please hatiye,let me open the door.
Appa stand aside pulling adiru to him, the kids were crying badly scared of loosing their mumma.
Raman pushed the door with all his force but it didn't opened. He was trying and at last with a kick, it got opened.
Raman ran into the house followed by others. He was looking at each room searching for her and finally found her in adiru's room. Ishita was sitting hugging adiru's toys and things which were left behind. Raman's eyes got moist seeing her plight.
He ran to her and shakes her saying her name only to get no response in return. Raman realised that she is unconscious while her face was still moist showing that she was crying continuously.
Everyone came and got worried seeing ishita. Adiru went to her running and hugged her tightly saying mumma,but ishita didn't hugged them back making them more worried.
They turn to appa and said-nanu, mumma ko kya hua. hamali mumma mal gayi kya. Saying this both start crying more loudly.
Toshiji hugged them and said-naa bachcha, aise nahi bolte, mumma ko kuch nahi hua.she is just sleeping. Stop crying warna mumma uth jayegi naa. She said wiping their big tears. While Raman picked ishita in his arms and took her to her room saying Mr bhalla to call the doctor.
Mr bhalla call the doctor while Raman make ishita lay down on the bed comfortably. Adiru get out of toshiji's hold and ran to ishita. They lay down on either side of ishita and hugged her tight like their life depend on her.
Every eye got moist seeing the vulnerable condition of ishita and adiru.
Soon doctor came and checked ishita.
Dr-she fainted coz of low bp.i have given her injection. Soon she will be fine.
Raman-thank u doc, is there any need to worry. She will be fine naa. He asked in worried voice.
Dr-no no, she will be good. Just let her rest. Saying so he went.
An hour passed, all were waiting for ishita to get out. Appa was sitting beside ishita while adiru was still clinging on her, they have almost hided themselves in ishita seeking her warmth. Raman and his parents were sitting in the hall.
Mr bhalla -i don't know, whether I should be happy or sad. I am feeling bad seeing Ishita's condition.
Toshiji-yes, bhalla ji.she has given her soul to Raman's kids and still can't claim them as her own. I can feel her pain. Main bhi maa hoon, samjhti hoon how it feels when ur kids r going away from u. When Raman left us after his divorce, I was shattered. But still I knew that Raman is my son, will come back to me. I don't know how much pain the poor girl went through. We can't even think of her pain.
Mr bhalla-i am happy that we find Raman's kids but to be true, it will be a crime to take kids from ishita. Just think what had happened to them if ishita has left them in orphanage.hume ,hamare bachche kabhi nahi milte.just because of ishita, they r alive and came to us. We can't punish her for this favour on us.
Toshiji-yes, I agree that she tried to run away but any mother will do the same. Shayad main bhi karti, ishita mein toh bahut himmat ki, sach bata diya, main shayad kabhi nahi kar paati.coz it's easy to die then leaving ur kids. What u r thinking Raman, say something. She asked looking at Raman, who was all lost in thoughts.
Raman-maa papa, I have taken a decision for me, ishita and adi-rooh. And want both of u to support me in it.
Mr bhalla -we r very much with u, we know u can never do injustice to anyone.
Toshiji-haan puttar, we r with u.but I will say just one thing, that ishita is their mother. And no-one has a right to separate kids from their mother. It's an unforgivable offence. Aur main kabhi nahi chahunga ki mera beta yeh galti kare.
Raman took Toshiji in side hug and said-never maa.
Inside, adiru was shaking ishita to wake up but she was opening her eyes.
Adi think for sometime and said-luhi, mujhe toh bhookh ladi hai. Tujhe bhi ladi hai kya.
Ruhi-haan bhiya, bahut tez se. Saying so they start shaking ishita saying-utho mumma bhookhu ladi hai.
Hearing the choas bhallas came in. Seeing the kids crying for food Raman said-come bachcha,i am ordering something for u. Say what u wanna eat.
Adiru-nahi bahal ka nahi, curd rice woh bhi mumma ke haath ka ,mumma ke haath che.
Raman was about to say something when appa said-let them do it, ishu ki dard bhi yahin hai aur dawa bhi. They have the power to make her alright.
Bhalla didn't said anything, just was looking what adiru was doing. Soon ishita opened her eyes hearing their crying.
Adiru hugged her tight and said-mumma, kyun itna cho lahi thi, adi-luhi dall gaye the.
Ishita looked at them like trying to believe her eyes. She touched their faces to believe, that they r in real and next second, she hugged them tight crying bitterly. She showered many kisses on their faces while they were also crying seeing her crying.
Ishita-mere bachche, meri jaan ho tum dono. She said and hugged them again. That's when she realised everyone was standing there only and now all knew the truth.
She broke the hug and asked-how u two came back.
Adiru-we cried and laman uncle brought us back. Aapne hume ghal se kyun nikaal diya mumma, Humne mistake ki kya. They said crying again making ishita cried too.
She hugged them again and said-galti tumhari nahi, meri hai, meri kismat ki hai. That I can't claim u two.
Adiru look at ishita and asked-matlab.
Ishita was about to say something when Raman cut her words and said-adi-rooh, u were hungry naa, tell me what u will eat.
Adiru-curd rice, mumma ke haath ka.
Raman-chalo ishita, curd rice bana. They r hungry.
Ishita look at Raman with puzzles eyes.
Raman -did I said something wrong. Go and make food, naa maa bachche bhookhe hai.
All nodded and ishita went to make curd rice for adiru. While Raman went behind ishita to make tea and snacks for everyone.
Ishita look at Raman and said-why don't u let me tell them the truth.
Raman-coz u have took promise from me that I will never let them know the truth. Then how can I let to make the promise.
Ishita looked down and said-for how many days we can hide the truth.
Raman-that we will think later, first feed them. They r hungry and cried alot for u. What kind of mother u r, bachchon ko bhej diya mere paas and thought ur responsibility is over. Bimaar padh gayi. Not done ishita.
Ishita-majbur maa hoon, who had to send her kids to their father. She said sadly making refreshments for everyone.
Raman was about to say something when ishita held her head and got disbalanced. She was about to fall when Raman held her in neck of time. Ishita clutched his shirt in fear while his arms were around her waist. She opened her eyes feeling his arms around her, he was looking her already. Both shared a beautiful eye lock, which got break due to cooker whistle.
Ishra composed each other and Raman asked-r u OK.
Ishita nodded and fasten her work. soon everything was done. Raman served appa and his parents tea and snacks while ishita went to feed adiru giving tea to Raman. Appa and bhallas were sitting in the hall talking while Raman was with ishrudi in her room.
Ishita was feeding adiru and Raman was just admiring them sipping his tea. Suddenly he got up and sat beside ishrudi. He took a spoon and filled it with rice.
He forwarded it to ishita and signalled her to eat. Ishita nodded in no.
Raman-have it ishita, u need it. U have to take some big decisions about our life.
Ishita look at him with puzzles eyes.
Raman -let them sleep. I wanna talk to to.
Ishita nodded and had the food. Ishita was feeding adiru while Raman was feeding her. Ishita was scared to think what Raman want to talk.
Some time after, kids start yawning. Ishita wiped their mouths with her duppata and start patting them to sleep. Very soon then slept as they were exhausted enough.
Ishita kissed their forehead and a tear escape her eyes. She wiped it in a jiffy and look at Raman.
Ishita-now tell me, what u wanna ask.
Raman-why u tell me the truth. Why don't u just ran away taking adi-rooh.
Ishita look at him hearing his question.
Raman-yes, u only told me that u can't live without them, aur agar tum nahi batati toh shayad mujhe kabhi pata nahi chalta sach ka.then also u told the truth to me. Why.
Ishita-coz I can't cheat u. I can't see u craving for ur kids while I stay happily with them. Main kitni bhi koshish karun, I can't forget that u r the father of my kids. Joh bachche mujhe maa kehte hai, unke pita aap ho. I can't let u suffer for my selfish motive. Aur waise bhi main unhe woh kabhi nahi de sakti joh tum de sakte ho.
Raman-what.
Ishita-baap ka naam. She said looking down while tears were flowing continuously from her eyes.
Raman went to her and sat beside her-yes, I can give them my name, all luxuries and comforts but can't give them mother's love.
Ishita look at him.
Raman-i know they r my kids, but u r their mother. Aur apne bachchon ko unki maa se alag karne ki himmat mujhme nahi hai. So I had taken a decision for us. Just need ur consent.
Ishita looked at Raman all confused and said-i didn't get anything. What decision.
Raman-i want to marry u. Will u marry me.
Ishita look at him all shocked. While he continued -adi-rooh can't live without u, u can't live without them. I can't leave my kids, so their is only one solution to this problem. That we should get married. Don't worry I will not force u to accept our relationship as man and wife. Infact we will be best of friends and parents to our kids. Tumhe woh Sab milega jiski tum haqdaar ho, my name, ur kids. Our family.he said looking at her expecting an answer but she wasn't responding anything.
Raman-its my suggestion only. If u r ready then it's wonderful and even if u r uncomfortable,I won't force u. I will think of some other way, he was saying when ishita hugged him tightly and said crying-i will marry u Raman. I will marry u.
Raman smiled hearing her words and hugged her back consoling her.
