Coming on to my choice of word, the first that you've chosen. If you've read the synopsis Harshada, you'll know that Raman comes from a lower middle class background and Ishita is born to the Iyer's who are rich, influential people. Ishita is somehow tied in a match to the, poor Raman and she feels immense disgust to be tied in a relationship with a man who doesn't belong to the same social class as hers.

The second line you've chosen ... hmmm ... even I was a little sceptical to show Raman being so physical ... thank you for the confirmation, if I may say so that I should alter it 😳

No, what I meant was...Did you mean ...'She jerked his hand' by 'whacked his hand'?

Because I am not really familiar with this word and when I googled, what I found was 'tired and exausted' I understand many meanings come out of one word depending upon how and where we are using it, but sometimes we need to make sure, if it goes apt for that or else it would get little confusing.
