I never could connect to Pihu like I did with Ruhi because of her being the surrogate kid even when RD was playing the character but I had sympathy for the poor kid who was being manipulated by Shagun but I kind of lost the sympathy too for her yesterday.
I really felt bad for the kid when she said to Adi that please don't attack me. I thought how bad Shagun has messed her up that she is even afraid of her bhai but when Ruhi told that she would take her to meet Shagun if she sleeps quietly she without a word went to sleep that is when I realized she was acting like how Shagun thought her to be because if the girl is really traumatized then she would not have gone to sleep quietly when promised to be taken to Shagun. This is where I simply lost the sympathy for Pihu because acting out Ishita is okay for me because Ishita is an outsider for Pihu even being angry with Raman it is okay for me because she thinks because of Ishita her papa pushed Shagun mama away but to say those words to Adi forgetting how much he loved her just because of Shagun insistence was the limit for me I totally lost the sympathy for Pihu.
If you see yesterday was the rehash of the scene the judge coming to visit the Bhalla house during Param track where in Ruhi would be hugging Ishita and would be saying to the judge she doesn't want to go to Shagun mama yesterday it was Pihu hugging Shagun saying to the judge that she wants to go to Shagun mama. The first scenario there were too many feelings involved and I was looking forward to that scene whereas the second one I could not wait for the scene to get over.
This is what the makers have achieved they are trying to recreate all the scene of Ishita/Ruhi with Shagun/Pihu and they are falling flat on their face because the first set because of their acting they could pull the audience in but the second set repels the audience away because of their acting.
As parents of Pihu I don't want IshRa to just leave her to the mercy of Shagun but to fight for her but at the same time I want them to show to Shagun that they are not affected by losing Pihu custody and carry on their work as if nothing happened because if they show the emotions Shagun will further manipulate Pihu more if she thinks getting Pihu away from them is not getting her desired result Pihu will be spared with little psychological damage.
Finally I don't have any feeling(good/bad) for the kids the makers have seriously failed in portraying Pihu. They should have taken extra care in portraying Pihu so that she would have been able to connect with the audience because of her being the surrogate child instead they concentrated on how to use Pihu for Shagun and ruined Pihu.
