I don't agree that wearing more body revealing clothes makes you stylish or that one has to be slim to be stylish, but however the article didn't meant that.
Even in 'proper covering' clothes there can be a style, DT lacks that style and Anita have that, it's as simple as it.

Style is also a personal statement..

Whats comfortable for one, need not apply to another.

The question of body hugging, figure revealing or conservative dressing is secondary to comfort level as well, the author is implying that what she thinks is fashionable should be aped regardless of the personal comfort level just to make a statement which is highly juvenile as per me

Everyone have their own style statement.. There is no comparison in that... And this article is uncalled for...
DT's character demands this kind of dressing and she is carrying it of gracely.. Not everyone can carry off those sarees which she was given, with this much ease and style...But she is slaying it... "Fashion" is about, wearing the clothes that we are comfortable with... That word has been misinterpreted by many, Who thinks fashion is about revealing and weird hairstyles...!

I disagree with most of them here including the writer of the article.

The title of the article is itself is third class and shows narrow mind and lack of thinking.

One cant expect Kajol to wear Kareena dressing style and look elegant and beautiful like how she looks with Kajol's simple elegant dressing style.
same Kareena cant look beautiful and stylish with Kajol dressing style.
That doesnt mean either Kajol or Kareena has no fashion sense. Its how good they look in their respective styles according to their looks, body structure and curves.

Same goes to Anita and Divyanka. Both are good in their own styles. In personal as well in YHM.
We need to compare two people of same category. Like Katrina and Kareena. who has better fashion.

Forget about fashion lessons. What lesson is there to be taken from a woman who is here just on the basis of nepotism.
She has no right to give even a spotboy a lesson.
She is worthless on her own.
Cheapest person in india is anita.

Looks like some are little confused between real actors/actresses and roles they actually play in a show.

who has right to scold or say ugly things to an actor/actress who plays bad, cheap role. We as fans and viewers can screw or scold and bash a role but not an actor for a role.

What guarantee is a good role played actor/actress is good in real life and bad role played actor/actress is bad in real life?

@Bold: Couldn't agree more. Most of the comments insinuate that a large portion of YHM viewers have pictured Divyanka as Ishita and Anita as Shagun in real life labeling them as sanskari and un-sanskari respectively while the label itself is a relative term and in case of celebrities, quite misleading too.

People shall remain naive. This article came out to demean Divyanka and take cheap revenge because a rival news site sided with Divyanka and spoke in favour of her

Last time i checked YHM was a family drama and not some fashion show.. I agree wamps on tv do dress like that and thats been a norm since this daily soaps have started..oh and just compare i loved what urvashi dholkia, sudha chandran or ashwini worn in their respective shows that time as they were the trend setters..what shagun wears is inspired from them if i may say so..thus there is nothing unique in that dressing style apart from designer blouses which i personally dnt find impressive.. But if we compare what ishita gets to wear then i must say ishita has her own sense of style..i have hardly seen any female lead wearing full sleeved or high raise blouses or simple cotton or for that matter traditional kanjivaram sarees and not to forget simple chickenkari suits which she wore during fracture times for long period of time and still carry them off with elegace and class..mostly leads resort to designer, shiffon sarees in daily soaps.. So kudos to DT for that..she has creeated a niche for Ishita in fashion as well..
For me fashion is something which is confortable, wearable and has wide acceptabality.. And sorry to say shagun's blouses may be fashionable but are not wearable in day to day life or even for the parties by any normal indian woman..cz i dnt think any normal indian woman likes to expose so much when she is at social events..where as Ishita's sense of style can easily be adopted in real life..and that woman can also make a style statement if she is able to carry them off well.. Nothing against actors..
