Idk I'm a Punjabi, but considering they had a court marriage I guess they can follow whatever rituals they want either Tamilian or Punjabi. Anyways even if Shagun had a church wedding, she would be wearing that chooda, after all she had to tell Pihu and celebrating her successful attempt at marriage after so many failed ones!😆

Poonam, no tambram brides don't wear choodas. They do wear fashion and designer glass bangles for the marriage. But they remove it soon after the marriage. There is no time period for which it is worn. Also they don't wear mangalsutra, but thaali.
