I am really frustrated on CVS that why single women always need a men hand/company/help/whatever
First

Shagun- Raman, Ashok, Manoj, again Raman, Mani
Mihika- Romi, Mihir, Ashok, ACP, again Romi
Shagun- Subbu, some other person broke engagment, Raman, Mani, again Raman
Simmi- Param, Subbu, again param

Is it really need a help from men to live and face challenges in life particularly at this advanced society Why YHM CVS portrys women always behind some other men. Is she can't raise her kids alone or live happily with out men?

100% true
and the opposite is also shown - why can't a man be a parent without a woman?

YHM murders progressive gender expectations and keeps us shackled in regressive BS 🤢

YHM is very regressive in this matter especially when it shows characters like Toshiji ready to push everyone into marriage without giving two people a chance to know each other. And then as we saw in Rinki's marriage track, how regressive it got when the marriage was called off and all everyone, including the lead who once believed she didn't need to be married, was after Rinki getting married to Mihir quickly so there would be none of the tooti hui shaadi drama in her life!

No offense to anyone's beliefs, but I believe a child is best raised with both mother and father present.

This is not to say I am against single parent households. I totally respect single parents, but it's a misnomer to think it's easy to raise a child and have a career at the same time, when you're a single parent.

Single parents struggle, they work twice as hard as other parents. Often times, they do wish they had a partner to share the burden with. Depression and anger is highest among single parent households. They're so stressed out.

So it's not about a woman "needing" a man or a man "needing" a woman. It's about a child needing both parents to balance their lifestyle, to ease the burden of the household.

Rarely do people choose to be a single parent. Often times, they're forced into it by circumstances and try their best to make it work.

So I definitely do not think single parenthood should be glamorized on TV. Not everything needs to be a feminist issue. Why not see it through a practical lens?

What you've said is completely true, and it is best for a child to be raised by two parents. But I think here the topic maker is trying to also address that in YHM even women who do not have children are constantly shown to need a man to be happy which is in the case of Rinki and Mihika and even Shagun to an extent. Of course with Simmi it was a different issue where Param is the type of person who is better to not have in a child's life.

I agree with all d viewpoints here. 😳
Well hindi serials r quite regressive in many ways especially when it comes to women.

We rarely see Ishita or Simmi going for work? I dont know if mihika works or not now? Hopefully Vandu is still principal.

All Ishita now does is fighting Shagun n saving her family from her dirty tricks or meddling in other ppls lives.

Unfortunately the audience who watch these daily soaps coome from regressive mindset that women need a husband (man) in life or women shud b financially dependant on husband etc. this is the reason that superstitious shows like Nagin/Bhoot atma serials r more appreciated on TV than Reporters where the female lead was a working lady n the show was about her struggles in her career.
