Why did Raman strangle Ishita ?

Because it wasn't Raman. In the 7 years that Ishita was away, there was an alien invasion at Bhalla house planned by Ashok. He controls the remote of the alien residing inside Raman, and turns him on and off according to his mood. Since Ashok is so much in love with Raman, he can't tolerate Puttar being close to Biwi. Hence, he made Puttar's inner alien strangle Biwi for no fault of theirs 😭 #JustAshokThings

Why don't IshRa romance?

Because the alien that Ashok has planted inside Raman, is made to detest and turn away Ishita at all costs. Ashok can't bear to see Raman come close to anyone else now, he's waited a long time to fulfill his dream of AshRam ❤️

Also, after Ishu's successful attempt at delivering Pammi aunty's niece's child, she wanted to deliver her akka's kid on her own too, and she was busy fighting with Raman / Shagun / Ashok for a long long time.

1. For the following scenes that were aired the show, let me know whether you would have preferred a different approach or agreed with the CV's approach :-

a) Sharam Incomplete marriage and how it was stopped by Romi in the last Phera.😃

I was utterly disappointed by what the CVs made Raman do, or did not do. I still am 😡 I'd rather have wished him to break it off the moment he had Ishita's vision and realised how nobody can replace her in his life. But CVs have an unexplained enmity with Raman 😭

b) Ishita's complete breakdown when Ruhi rejected IshRa completely after her identity was revealed. Do you feel that Raman's reaction to the entire scenario and his inner turmoil was brought out correctly ? Did you feel a lack of proper IshRa conversation in that scene?

Ohh definitely! That scene screamed for Raman to take care of her, and talk to her, and try and calm her down, and feel that immense pain and guilt himself, and KP would have been awesome. But... 😭 In fact some moments that we saw in the OLV never even made it to the episode 😡

c) Ishita's kidnapping - Who would you have wanted to rescue Ishita from the kidnappers or do you feel that the way Ishita eloped is the best way, it being a good message about self defense ?

What more can you teach in self defence? She fought a crocodile and came back 😆 I'd have loved to see Raman's mad worry converting to something much more meaningful. But... 😭

d) Ruhi - Ishita patch up post her kidnapping - Did this patch up and Ruhi beginning to act all normal after Mani's single advice look convincing and acceptable to you?

Nope. Of course she would understand Ishita's predicament better, but a sea change? 😲 YHM CVs write their own psychology books!

2. What do Appa and Bhallaji do in the Iyer and Bhalla family? I am not clear about their roles in the family. If you understand, please explain.

Add some color to the ensemble, since they're the only one lending grey hair 😆 😆

3. If a new season of YHM is being made, who would you want to pair up with KP considering that DT has rejected to be part of it and vice-versa?

I really don't know how to answer that. I haven't actively watched either KP or DT paired opposite anyone else. I'd rather wish YHM 2 not be made if one of these two aren't there 😆 😆

As I mentioned in one of the other answers, basically after Ishita left, there was an alien invasion in Bhalla house and Ashok implanted inside Puttar because now that Puttar was finally without a wife, Ashok didn't want him to get close to any other woman. Shagun had no chance anyways, but Ishita was dangerous. So he made the alien turn Raman into a monster 😆 😆
