If we Find Shagun intolerable n its okay to feel I dont know Y we r forced to Love/like/be quiet during ACP's over screenspace n nonsense track and I m sure even SP cant give us the crap of him being "integral" part too so I really want to know what is the purpose of him in the story when they cam show us IshRa working together

Coming to ACP, whether or not the LEADS are on leave or not, there is a HUGE cast behind to cover for their absence.. those characters who are integral to the show and whose stories we have seen evolve from Day 1. Who is ACP? He came as a possible hero opposite Mihika, when that track didn't work out then as Sarika's brother. Now he isn't needed for either. But because of his unnecessary forced absence we had to endure so many tracks on this show that were involving crime, murder, and so on. From a love story, this show became next to the likes of CID or Crime patrol.

So to answer the question as to why it's a problem if he fills in space... I'd just say he isn't filling space, he is making new for himself. There are characters like Mihir/Romi/Mihika/ Simmi/ Bala Vandu and the bunch of new kids whose stories we have been following and would wish to see and ideally they should get to cover up for when leads aren't around.

And as someone said that if the lead wasn't useless we wouldn't need others to cover up. That's the writers fault isn't it? And if a police officers story is what we need to fill screen time with... then why not Neelu, the watchman of their building, peon of Raman's office, the doctors of city hospital... after all if we have to see the story of a police officer we should be interested in the life of all these others... no job is small or less important after all.

People seem to be keeping abreast of social media, and they know KP was on leave, still they wanted IshRa scenes! The hatred for Abhishek has now even led to constant bashing of Divyanka. Even before ACP came back and KP was there, what was Raman doing - just shouting and taunting ? And basically not owning up to any mistakes or doing anything worthwhile to solve it. So how does it matter who are in the show? Even the Bala-Vandu track was boring even though I like them as actors...The lead has become useless, if they show him useful, we may not need others

Yaar you know, its no point explaining because I believe she thinks that if Raman's character isn't shown properly its not the writers fault, but if Ishita's character does something questionable then it's the writers fault so we shouldn't point it out. Are we forgetting that everything on this show happens because of the writers? Or do they believe its the actors writing the plot ? 😆

@red and thats what irks. .the show has a tremendous ensemble cast with a lot of talent who have not been given hale the chances this guy has been given and worst still the 'space' he fills in most of the time have the FL also in them. .taking away precious screentime from a lot of other things we would like the FL to be doing..including being in the same frame as the ML. .which is a rarity nowadays. .but this side actor/filler whatever gets almost 5-7 min scenes in every second epi with the FL..for something as irrelevant as..hey I am getting married.., ..I called you to police station to give you the good news😕 ,..hey did you see shagun today.., etc..all this when raman is the one who apparently called the police. .got anil arrested..and was still following up and worried sick about the identity of the kidnapper..yet Mr smart inspector only calls the FL every time..and better still has long scenes of irrelevance just as a filler? I would take a ishita monologue or a ishita adi..or a ishita adi ruhi scene over those 7 min fillers anyday..heck why not give Mr bhalla and Mr Iyer some lines instead. .they both had such memorable scenes in yhm 1.0..I am sure neither would mind spending some extra time on set for supposed 'fillers'..
