I had adviced Aliyah to stay away from the Bhallas, so that she doesn't end up like her Apa.
Apart from Ishra and ruhi everybody else is wrong no matter what they do.
Look at Mani, even if he risk his life to save Ishita, everybody will be happy Ishita is alive but will be angry with Mani for being in her business.

Today, Mani did something Ishu and Raman couldn't do. Get Ruhi to open up about how she really feels and make her understand...now everybody is Happy he talked with her, but they are mad about that the "he" is Mani.
Ishita can get into people's business, even people she only talk with on the phone, but Mani can't do that.
I know that it is Ishra's love story, but the truth is the Mani is her soul mate. Her knight and shinning amour. Alway's there for her unconditionally. Yes, he may feel jealous of Raman some times. it is okay. It is natural. The only time is is bad is when you act negative about it.
As for the recap, I believe Mani will never try to pull Ishu away from the family esp after talking to Ruhi today.
I thank CV for giving us a character like Mani. such Characters don't exist on reel life...but in real life, there are many Mani's out there. People who love with no gains and no bad intentions.

Swati, I actually did not have a bigger problem with Mani having a conversation with Ruhi. He infact acted as a good friend to Ishita, who genuinely wanted Ruhi to realise what she feels from the inside and made her realise that she needs to give herself some time to accept her feelings towards the family. His intentions were very pure. No doubt about that. Mani definitely did not try to manipulate Ruhi here, as shagun does it.

But I do have an alternate perspective, where I badly wanted Raman to have talked to Ruhi instead of Mani. I hope you don't mind me sharing it with you.
Foremost of all, IMO,I feel that Ruhi does not have as much as trust issues with Raman as she has with Ishita. Ruhi has definitely melted towards Raman, especially after having seen his emotional breakdown during Ishita's kidnap and then after his apology to her ,the previous day of how he failed as a father. The awkwardness she has with Ishita and the trust issues she has with Ishita, is no more a case with Raman. She is relatively more open with Raman and would have definitely given a hearing to him as well.

1. Firstly, I feel that the people who were most affected and who suffered the pain of rejection and separation on that nite 7 years back, is Ruhi, Ishita and Raman. IshRa definitely owes an explanation to Ruhi, because they were the ones who took the decision to meet Nidhi after her demands. To be more precise, it was Raman who made the decision and made Ishita agree to it. Ishita rejected it point blank the first time, when Raman told about Nidhi's demand. Raman made her to agree, saying that they will definitely save both their kids. Both of them were determined to save both their kids. I guess there is no second thoughts about it. Unforunately Nidhi outplayed them with her smartness, the presence of ACP made matters worse, as it made Nidhi furious and destiny played a cruel game. Now since the leap was rushed in, we never got to know what plan Raman had in mind actually, while it was shown that Ishita took the help of ACP to solve this problem. That is why I felt, if Raman had been in place of Mani, Raman would have atleast got an opportunity to redeem himself by explaining about his plan, how he was the one who insisted Ishita to meet Nidhi, what plans he had to save both the kids and how it got failed unfortunately. By sharing this with Ruhi, I feel that Ruhi atleast would have got to know the real intentions of her parents, how Ishita was not solely responsible for the failure, how her parents were desperate to save her, how they never had this exchange thoughts in their mind and above all how Nidhi outplayed them with her cunningness & kidnapped her.

2. Secondly, I agree Mani has witnessed Ishita's pain all these years and Raman has not witnessed it. I also hope that there is no doubt that Raman actually has lived with the same pain all these years. I feel that both Raman and Ishita would have gone through the same ordeal and pain for being so helpless and guilty of not being able to save the child. We definitely cannot say that Ishita was in more pain of losing Ruhi and Raman was in lesser pain. The pain of losing a child cannot be measured separately for a mother and father is what I feel. So if it makes sense for Mani, who has just seen her pain to talk to Ruhi, I just wonder why not her father, who has actually lived through that pain and guilt? I don't see that as an emotional attack on her. Rather it would depict the actual state of mind the father is in and the guilt he has carried within himself all these years.

3. Last, I personally have my doubts on the need of Mani to bring in the topic of Bhaanj to make Ruhi realise Ishita's intentions. His points on how the world was hurting Ishita with their words and how Ishita was happy that Pihu put an end to all those taunts was not required at that time. Ishita never actually wanted a child for herself because she never considered herself a bhaanj after Ruhi and Raman came in her life. She always felt that the two people who means the world to her, has always stood by her against the world and they consider her as the world's best mother. So I guess, the bhaanj thing and the fear of losing her biological daughter never played in Ishita's mind at that point of time. All she would have had in her mind, was that she needs to save both her kids at any cost from the clutches of Nidhi, as a mother and so did Raman as a father. So somehow Mani bringing in that topic did not make sense to me. Just my thoughts. No offence to anyone. After all Ruhi knew all these and infact she was the one who stood against the world for her mother and ran from one doctor to another, just to ensure that her mother is able to give birth to a child, so that the world stops calling her names.

Just my POV Swati. I sincerely hope you did not consider this as my prejudice towards Raman. Please feel free to ignore my comments if you feels so, because genuinely, that is not my intention.

IMO, the only concern people have here about bringing in Mani in this regard is that in order to give Mani this much of importance post leap, Raman has been made dumb, he has been butchered and he is never given a POV. Infact Raman was not even given the option of go and getting Ruhi when Ishita went in to a trauma and the honour went to Mani. So just by giving prominence to Mani and making Raman weak & dumb, it looks like the makers have convinced people to think that Mani would definitely make a better life partner to Ishita than Raman, since Mani is her true friend, soul mate and what not. Now this is where the show deviates itself from the main point of focus:-IshRaRu as the characters, who come together in life to heal each other's wound, how they solve all the problems around them without the very foundation of dil ka rishta being made a mockery. The irony is with shagun around, even in her whiter avatar, people would never be able to accept Raman and Shagun together. They would happily do so to taunt and mock Raman. But the sad truth is people have started accepting Mani and Ishita as a pair, which goes against the very essence of this show. This is where, the hate for Mani stems in, is what I feel. Purely my thoughts.😊

Anyways, people are entitled to their opinions. I am not sure even if I made any sense Swathi. I just wanted to respond yesterday, but could not get the time to write it. So I wrote it today.

Very well put, Priya

Mani isn't bad at all

But what is frustrating and hurts as a viewer is you don't see any reason at all Raman deserves his family. He does nothing but cry and all these opportunities to make his character rise even a bit are not used for him.

How can anyone logically want IshRa when Raman is the most useless man on the show? No one can disagree that Raman is useless, mean, and selfish.

So my focus on him is bc if Raman isn't better - if he isn't given special meaningful moments - then what's the point of IshRa?

Idk to each their own bc maybe we've reached a crossroads where IshRa aren't logical bc they will never be justified. Mani will always be the kinder, safer man in Ishita's life while Raman is toxic.

That's what this scene made me feel - not hate towards Mani but pathetic towards Raman who is busy in his dream world of a second chance & playing catch the kidnapper 😒

So for me yesterday's scene prompted my poll - what is this show about & everyone agrees it's not IshRa. IshRa may just be dead bc from the way it's going Raman will never be redeemed or shown as a male hero of the show even 2% & we'll be left question why is Ishita with him?
