Life in the Bhalla house is full of action, and the makers of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" are sparing nothing to make it more exciting rather corny and weird. After the whole ghost and supernatural drama, we thought the makers grew some sense, but alas we were wrong.

It seems they've come up with an even more ridiculous plot to entertain us. So Ashok's goons are behind the plot to kill Shagun (Anita Hassanandani). She jumps in the river (or pond or some water body), which hosts a dangerous crocodile (a creature that scratches faces but doesn't eat the body).

Anyway, Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) jumps to Shagun's rescue and saves her from drowning. But in the process, she gets bitten by the crocodile. Now that makes the crocodile sound like a snake. So the crocodile disfigures Ishita's face but spares her life. It's a page from "Khoon Bhari Maang" starring Rekha, but the makers claim it is not. Moving on, while everyone presumes Ishita is dead and move on with their lives, they will be surprised to see her again. Now this reunion is scheduled for much, much later. Before this, Ishita will surely go in for a plastic surgery, and the makers will schedule a leap right in between to show her with a new face.

All this while Ashok and Sarika will be safe and continue to hatch plans of destruction for Raman's life. Without Ishita to save the day, we wonder how everyone will survive. From what we hear, after the leap, the makers will introduce a grown-up Ruhi and Aditya.

There's a lot more drama waiting to unfold, so stay tuned.

"Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" will soon welcome new cast members. TV actors Saurabh Raaj Jain and Disha Parmar have been roped in to play important roles. Both Saurabh and Disha have been part of Star Plus shows like "Mahabharat" and "Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara" respectively.

According to reports, the show will soon take a five-year leap wherein Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Raman (Karan Patel) would separate and both the lead characters will get new partners. Divyanka will reportedly be paired up with Saurabh's character, while Raman would romance Disha's character.

"Disha and Saurabh have been approached to play prominent roles in 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein'. Both the actors have been previously associated with Star Plus for 'Pyar Ka Dard Hai' and 'Mahabharat'," said a source, IANS reported.

"If all goes well, they will be the new partners of Ishita and Raman post their separation which will happen just before the leap. The story will take an all new twist post their entry on the show," the source added.

The news will surely disappoint Raman-Ishita fans who have been in love with the on-screen couple from the very beginning of the show.

Meanwhile, on the show, Shagun has (Anita Hassanandani) committed suicide and her spirit now possesses Ishita's body. Ishita's creepy behaviour gets Raman worried for his wife.
