Reason behind Ruhi's condition

There is a great possibility of your view point being true because as of now the only thing that is holding her back from confessing her love to her parents is her misunderstanding that Ishita love Pihu the most and Pihu is more important to her as she is her biological daughter and that Ishita is just acting in front of Ruhi to get her to stay back. She knows that Ishita loves her the most, but the visuals she has seen, makes her believe otherwise. That is why if you see, she still melts for Raman and calls him Paapa most of the time, whereas except for the encounter with the goons, she has always addressed as Ishita. She is disappointed more with Ishita as she has trusted her the most and feels Ishita prefers Pihu over her and has betrayed her. Now she might want to actually see a proof for what Ishita claims :- that she can go to any extreme and do anything for winning back Ruhi and her trust & love.

Alternatively, there is also a very small possibility of Ruhi doing this purposely for the sake of Pihu and IshRa. As I mentioned in a different thread, it might also be that Ruhi has already witnessed the growing insecurities in Shagun and her discomfort with respect to IshRa relation. Now she has also seen how Pihu was manipulated by Shagun the other day for her benefits and has warned her. Seeing that Shagun has not changed over these years, being the matured kid, she was and the protective sister she is, she might really want Pihu not to be affected and poisoned by Shagun for her motives. To avoid this, Pihu needs to know the truth and IshRa definitely needs to get back as couple. Since IshRa are occupied currently only about getting back Ruhi and their relationship is already complicated, Ruhi might have come up with such a condition, so that IshRa atleast talk to each other now, clear their misunderstandings and agree for the marriage. This might be a greater shock to Pihu, but one day or the other Pihu has to know this and they all have to work together to get Ishita and Pihu closer. That would also leave Shagun with no options but to turn completely negative.

I agree the mess is bigger and IshRa have to take it upon themselves to clear, but it is just that Ruhi might have initiated it for the protective kind of sister she is and also that the kids have always been shown as matured and as catalysts in YHM.

I think she kept this condition knowing that Ishra vl reject it, so that she can easily move out of Bhalla house.
