Another amazing post Zoya.👏👏.
I'm enthralled by your choice of words& positivity. You have beautifully captured & analysed the nitty-gritty details about Raman and his state of mind during the IshRa moments post leap. I just wished atleast one of the creative member had your thoughts, we would have got a different Raman on screen. Khair.

Hoping that IshRa reunion is as intense, compassionate and beautiful as we all expect, especially after having put up with so much of crap and crass. Itna toh banta hai boss.😊
Cheers

Zoya - It was such a joy to read your thoughts as always...and you make me want to login and pen down again..😊

Where Raman is standing, Ishita & Ruhi were alive, they knew he was all alone, they have the means of informing him but they choose not to. This thought wipes out all the other things from his mind. His biggest ever fear that he is not good enough for his loved ones, played out in the full spectrum. He feels he is the one who has lost so much and his hurt comes out in the form of anger, and like a wounded animal he keeps lashing out.

He wants to shake them up and demand an explanation, as to why they didn't bother about him, but at the same time he is afraid to find the answers. He keeps spelling out things here and there, like how everybody kept leaving him but he was not strong enough for a full blown confrontation or realization. Only when he knows the full truth of what happened to Ishita he can calm down and then he may realize the part he played in all the mess.

When they decided to go for the PTA meeting as parents, It was such a heartbreaking moment..It should have been the natural thing to do if things where right but it wasn't. There was a slight smile on Ishita's face like she couldn't believe she got that chance...which broke my heart a little for her and for them. The right that's theirs but the situations aren't theirs.

Even then when the reality crashed, he was the first to react and reminded both of them not to get attached as it would be worse when they have to leave. Normally they could read each other so well but the cloud of misunderstanding which is hanging around them is stopping them this time around and making it all worse.

Raman & Ishita match each other on so many levels...love,anger,pain or the sheer joy of being playful with each other. For instance the hotel room the other day and in the restaurant today where they where being fake cheesy. Both of them knew it even though they are not vocal about it. Their families knew it, that is why one is rooting for them and the other wants to avoid the misery once again, that comes when the history repeats again.
Shagun never really fit in the picture, except in her head.

When it comes to it, even though it will kill her again, Ishita will put a hard face and let him go. For all her strength, Raman is her weakness.
She cannot see him suffer.

On the other hand, Raman cannot do the same thing, He cannot see her away from him. He will burn down the house, and bring everything down but he don't know how to let her go...
because, Ishita is his strength.
He knows no other way anymore.

You made a post! 🤗

So I have been in agreement and interpreted Raman as such from early post leap. For me there was not a question about why Raman reacted as such bc it was pretty obvious if you wanted to think like him.

However what is shown on screen does not clearly reflect this...so when a valid and beautiful POV is hidden amidst yelling, seemingly aimless decisions, no clear cause and action, etc...people get frustrated. People don't believe in the POV that is Raman's and to me that is the crime the CVs have committed. They have discredited their own character on screen - for drama, justifying Shagun, etc

So yes - Raman has always been Raman in terms of his reactions. It would just be nice as a viewer to see him take useful actions if not be given a clear POV bc it's frustrating to have to chase down his POV & attempt to explain it when there are glaring ways to discredit what we think.

Their reunion was never going to be easy bc their hurt is deep & now to further justify the complexities of reunion, TRPs are high...so it's going to be even more slower.

Also for me - here is why Raman's POV, his thoughts, his life over the last 7 years is the most interesting part of this leap...

For a while now on YHM it has been incredibly clear to show that Raman lives, breaths, exists as he does because of and for Ishita. They more clearly built up his sheer dependence on her love and whole-hearted acceptance than they did the reciprocal (until the 1st month post leap when we really started to see Ishita the pining lover).

This to me, it would make for such a beautiful story to seen and clearly trace what he is thinking. I love reading your posts bc that is what they do.

For Raman Kumar Bhalla - Ishita is the beginning and end. Life began and ceased with her. So what is he feeling now? All these small seeds of MU that have been laid in his head...what do they make him feel about himself & his future?

We clearly see how Ishita, Shagun, & Ruhi feel about their standing in the life of Raman. But the biggest key to this post leap track - that we very obviously know the answer to - is what does Raman feel?

This is such a beautiful write up.
So many truths are needed to be revealed. And I think Raman needs Ishita to say, I'm yours, no one else's and he'll melt.
She is his whole world. I don't think he can live in a world where she doesn't love him.
So yes, I think you're completely right, he doesn't know how to let her go, the only way out was self destruct.

This is the very thing that gives me hope Raman will be given the importance he deserves. Yes they'll show him drowning in guilt, but we'll finally see him deservedly breaking down. And obviously they're doing it strategically. They need to keep these secrets so Raman's breakdown, and his worded point of view can be delayed and we keep clinging on.
You summed it up beautifully krishy, when you said Ishita is the beginning and the end.
Before the leap, Ishita was the more closed off, now she is an open book to the viewers.
And Raman's actions have to be more thought about after the leap, whereas before he was an emotional fool in front of the other characters as well. To be fair he did break down before he sat to marry Shagun.

Raman needs to realise that it is his words that threw ishita away from him...His words are unforgivable...A woman who sacrificed so much for him doesnt deserve such a treatment

oh my my my! How did I miss this post? Such a beautiful one .

Wonderful and more importantly helping normal viewers like me to justify on why we need to still watch this show.

You are simialr to CVs jsut the difference in the direction of progression. Every time we always think that this is the best post and you immediately prove us wrong coming with an other analysis. Setting up a different level of standard. Cvs also does the same. Whenever I think that no track can be more horrible they keep surprising us.😊
