Baji should hire you to write Raman's monologue trust me. This is the most needed thing to show in the show as we have clear view of everyone's mind except him.

You said it all ,I have nothing to say .
But all I can say More than CVS and Raman's family ,we understand Raman .
Yup there is no progression in track but ishra are slowly progressing .Raman never hatred her ,that was only jealous and anger .
He was giving name of hate to his jealousy and anger but indeed he loves her and will only love her .I can see the love in his eyes .Like in ruhi's birthday party ,he was dancing
With shagun but staring at her .Raman is an Complex character but he is an open book for viewers like you and some others who understand him .
P.s .I know I wrote ,I have nothing to say but still I wrote ;) .Anyways keep posting such positive posts.

But as much as I understand him and his anger I really really want Ishita to breakdown once in front of him and tell him exactly how badly his anger and harsh words hit her that day😭
I just hope they address that day just between them.

I want an emotional ishra confrontation and their heart to heart talk

Zoya, wonderful post. Every word of yours about Raman is so true.

Raman deeply loves Ishita. Moreover he trusts her- even after the seven years of horrible gap. One cannot imagine and comprehend the way this man loves and trust her. Ishita was not his first love. He had loved another woman, the womb-mother of his children, Shagun to the core at one point of time. She betrayed him. The anger knew no bounds for him. She lived with her lover in front of his eyes. And he never wanted to feel her presence at any cost. He never once cherished their marriage - about them two at any point of time. Anything he cherished in that marriage was his children. Nothing else. The seven years of their marital relationship, which was showering love, to him and to everybody remained as a relationship just made or the children. He lost himself"but he composed, he got himself back.

The another marriage just for the sake of his child and purely nothing else, for him, for her, and for everyone else turned out to be the love that he seeked, that she seeked, that they seeked , the others wanted them to get, and the love they deserved. The once betrayed by his wife who lived with him for seven years and bore him his two children could not make him think that Ishita who lived with him for two years can betray him. The possibilities of believing that she can betray, move on was very vivid, from his point of view. She had left him. She made everyone believe that she is dead. She never tried to contact him. She was living with her friend, with which whom he was the most insecure. And there stood a girl just as the age of his Adi, who called her mother. And beyond all these, they lived a life of seven years that Raman din't know- how they lived in their small world, how the others thought about this small family. But this man never doubted her, till date, and he cannot. The trust and love between them is so deep. He knows that nobody can love him the way she does. This woman had really transformed him.

The reason is very vivid. Shagun got a life full of love, blind trust, a life of emotional balance. The only thing that lacked in their life was finance that she dreamt of. The family of his pampered her, told her nothing, her's was rule. She was not the one who took care of their children. It was Toshi ji. Still she abandoned that life and went ahead with her boyfriend. But Ishita entered into his life when everything was in a mess. His family except his daughter, father and younger sister had accepted her. All the others were not comfortable with her. But soon, everything changed. He brought her to an unstable life. There was no emotional stability, no love, no trust, no support and nothing...simply nothing that a marriage gives. There was a baggage of past of him which always haunted her. She only had the child to cling on. For the sake of that child, to provide her a stable family, she changed the whole house to a home. She changed the man. She made a Raman that is only her's. She changed his perspective of life itself. And that Raman is still alive. He cannot kill that Raman. He killed the Raman who was Shagun's so soon, even before the entry of Ishita into his life.

Earlier, in a drunken state he thrust a bundle of money to her telling that this is what all women want. She refused it. And he never believes that. After marriage when she was late (and lied), solving Simmi's and Param's problem, he accuses her telling that women like her need money for that they marry successful men like him. And in the post leap when again this incident takes place, she tells that she doesn't need money. He never retorts. He still believed that everything is not money, deep inside his heart. He knew that these kinds of people do exist, like his Ishita- who's everything is not money.

Her mother-in-law accepted her whole heartedly. This woman too loved/loves her to the core. We had seen that how Toshi ji and Madavi ji had a nok-jok love and friendship. And how did that ended when Ishita left? It was the love for her daughter-in -law that she had showered to Madavi. Whenever they had a fight it was Toshi ji who gave up. And now after leap we see that she could easily manage Toshi ji more than her mother. Even Toshi ji never doubted her. Simmi, once accepted her and that was for a life time. She trusts her blindly. Even Romi, when heard that Raman is going to get married to Shagun, he knew that Raman cannot be successful anymore, moreover, Raman cannot be happy anymore and he worded it out.

The whole house did not doubt her loyalty. And for Raman, he knows that he cannot live without her. As I have told on the other post of yours, I still do believe that this is all Raman's plan to get her back, though he will never word it out.

Ishita brings the drunken Raman to her room. She sees a dream. A shot dream" her Raman asking her tum zinda ho? Kaha thi tum? Mujhe chodke maat jaana. I miss you. The moment she hear this, though in her dream she says, promise. Main aapko chodke kahi nahi jaaungi. This was only she wanted to hear from him. She would remain forever. And ironically these are what Raman wants to hear from her - that she missed him, love him and will never go away from him. And about Ishita, she doesn't know what exactly he wants. She knows that a part of him still love her. And a part of him is angry on her, hates her and thinks that she is a bad omen for him and their children. And she also knows that another part of him cannot accept her"there is his past standing between them as his future, their daughter's future. The wife in her wanted Raman. But she doubt that the wife in her is worth for him. More than that, the woman in her cannot make another woman suffer. A human in her cannot betray another human. In her view, the possibility of her staying in his life can never happen.

And for Raman, there is always insecurity. The fact that he loved and admired in her the most is her love for their kids. But the same fact makes him insecure. Ruhi was most mattered to her- there is no Raman, Adi or Pihu, or even her family and his family for her if there is no Ruhi. But what he failed to see is, it was not Ruhi's loss that made her go away, but it was his words after the loss of Ruhi that made her go away. For Ishita, their marriage for Ruhi nullified when Ruhi was gone"she is not good enough for him anymore. And she is also insecure. Raman knows that Ishita will stay if Ruhi stays. But, as whom she would stay is what he cannot comprehend. She never claims anyone as her own. She stopped it. She does not claim him, Adi, Pihu, not even Ruhi. She kept mum when Shagun called herself as Ruhi's "asli maa." Both looked each other. He waited for her to respond, and she waited for him, and none did. The gap between them became more powerful.

Coming to Ruhi, she was a girl who spoke like grownups at a very small age. Like Raman, Ishita's little Ruhi is still alive in her, yearning for her mother. The seven years' of Nidhi's torture could not bury Ishita's Ruhi. Ishita is the only one person who loved her the most. She knows it. How cannot she love a mother who tried to commit suicide when she lost her princess? How cannot she love a mother who never looked back and claimed her own daughter for seven years for whom she thought that she was given away? Ruhi knows that Ishita did not embrace Pihu, even though the little one brought Ruhi home. Now she knows the matters. She knows the complexities of their life that they are leading to. Ruhi wanted to live with them, in their family as Raman and Ishita's daughter, not as Raman and Shagun's daughter. Ruhi know how to love Ishita, like wise she knows how to hurt her also. If ever she do not want her Ishima at all she can just tell her to get rid of their life and she will be happy with her womb-mother and father. For her happiness her Ishima would leave her. That was what she did with Pihu. Ruhi knows that this Ishita is the same woman who kept herself away for Adi, to provide him a secure environment. It is her distorted life that is making Ishita stay with her. And she wanted to clear all these messes, but after that too her Ishima should be with her. If everything becomes ok, her Ishima will go, where she has a child, who lived with her for seven years, who loves like her own mother, whom Ishita pampers. She knows that her Ishima is the only soul in the whole world whose first priority is Ruhi.

Ruhi's and Shagun's scene served a purpose. Ruhi was amazed to know that Shagun told Pihu that Ruhi can draw well. The woman with whom she stayed less than six months altogether, who did not care about her, who knew nothing about her and who had not tried to get a warm hug when she was back did know that she can draw. That came as a surprise. The next scene burst the bubble. She said that Shagun has never changed. She still uses her kids for her wellbeing. From day 1, Ishita is doing the same thing. She takes others help to pacify Ruhi. But the difference is that, Ishita is doing it for Ruhi, whereas Shagun is doing it for herself. And this girl could understand this.

Adi also know this. Even Mihir. The three blood relations of her in the world (don't know about her mother though) know her true intentions. Her real intentions are coming to the brim and these three noticed it.

Ruhi began to play her game. Yesterday she gifted her father for Father's Day. For me, she asked him to select his life, future life- either Ishita or Shagun. He couldn't. Ishita took it, for her child. Shagun felt offended as she saw her so called family is slipping away from her. Ruhi saw her face. She felt nothing. If it was Ishita in Shagun's place, Ruhi's eyes would have been teary. At the restaurant she asked Ishita not to fake. It is not about faking love to her by becoming over sweetly with her husband. This girl knew that nok-jok is the normality of her parent's relationship. It is about faking relationships that she is showing Ruhi. If everything becomes perfect she will withdraw herself from her family. She wanted her Ishima and papa together. After all she is Raman Kumar Bhalla's daughter. Why does she love Pihu ? She is supposed to hate her. Because of her all these happened. She sees herself in Pihu. Pihu is at the age where she lost her family. Most importantly there is an Ishita in Pihu, the very same reason for which Raman adores her. Ruhi in every sense is Raman's daughter. Raman had word it out, and Ishita too.

Coming back to Raman, he is still trying to instigate her. He is becoming success in his mission too. He was happily surprised to hear her calling him "Ravan Kumar" at the dining table. His anger for the things that he must do with her unwillingly was to provoke her. When she said that she is least interested, he could not digest it. And what he failed to notice is how she retorted. She was irritated hearing his bickering; she was angry and sad at the same time. Her eyes were wet.

These three met on that point of time when they were all alone. Ruhi was alone, and could find love in Ishita. She needed a mother and Ishita wanted a daughter. Raman needed his daughter and a soulmate. He got. They completed themselves on the most needed time and no one can replace any of these three. They are an inseparable unit.

We understand the character RKB more than CVS do. You just spoke my feelings, words. Yes, this is what I can see in RKB.
The one who pawns himself for his loved ones. No matter what his actions always speak a different language than his words do. That's RKB for you.

Good Post Zoya. Might add more in here, if time permits.
