First of all, a big thank you to everyone for the immense love on yesterday's OS - An old knot 🤗 🤗

Though I have come close to nervous nineties a few times, this was my first OS with a century of likes 😳 😳

Now, back to business 😆

Getting inspired for this plot wasn't very difficult. It came as an afterthought to the situation in old knot. It continues from where that one ended (So I'd recommend you to read that first if you haven't yet 😊: IshRa OS - An old knot)

Coming back to this shot, I meant to continue it as an epilogue in that story, but even though it begins from the culmination of that beautiful family moment, it takes off on a different tangent, which is why I decided to post it separately 😳 😊 Also it became much longer than the original shot, and can't have an epilogue longer than the main post 😆

This is by far the most lengthy single shot I've written. Lots of words, hope they don't drown the message 😳

The writing style mimics the one in the previous OS, of the narration moving between multiple perspectives.

This was such a beautiful followup to AOK Nids

Two parents learning the hell their older daughter lived through by the innocent dialogues of their younger one - the one who is their dream letting them know how the one who binds their souls suffered and pined for them, and eventually came to hate them though she still loves them.

Two people who are trying to bring some normalcy into the life of their broken, abused once much loved child realising how can they heal her when they themselves are in so much pain, how can they gather the scattered fragments of her life and identity into a shape with some semblance of what she used to be when they themselves aren't sure what is the shape of their relationship, the status or the future of it.

Because ultimately Ruhi is gonna be with IshRa now, that is not the question - the question is that IshRa themselves have not come to the realization that once she does what after that?

They are trying to project in front of her a united stand, but in reality though together in their minds they are poles apart - each too wrapped up in their own dilemma and pain and hurt to even notice the other much less the consequences of what it is to make Ruhi dream again, pick them again and later ask her to get over it because it was all a stopgap arrangement to get her back...

There has to be a conversation where they come to this realisation because it is very much needed. They are taking one day at a time here thinking we would cross that bridge when we come to it but that's a very shaky ground. Raman has got himself into a situation wherein he has not only made his youngest stay in the dark about her true lineage and mother but also allowed another to take that mantle which he shouldn't have, as well as allow the woman who he had no affection nor any intention of ever marrying again believe that he would walk down the aisle with her...

For the last freaking few minutes I've been waiting for you to post this and kept thinking of the many ways this could turn if you chose a sad end 😆 See I can't help form this opinion ...you've made your own reputation and you claim and agree as well 😆

BUT COMING DOWN TO EARTH after being in IshRa land for a while, let me just finally comment 😳 HOW WONDERFUL was this. Not just because it ended so perfectly with them coming together and it being a happy end. But also because it took a route that didn't seem unbelievable.

Yes, they have a million issues which are unsorted and that would crop in between them even if they were to start living together for the rest of their life...But as you very well pointed out, nothing would be bigger than the magnitude of love they have for each other. That love surpasses everything there is between them.

My most favorite part about this story was that you addressed that they've always had a relation for someone else and then broken apart because of others too. But they have fallen in love and that love should have its own entity...irrespective of everything else. The dialogue between them was amazing. Her refusing to get back together was understandable and then so was Raman's way of getting her to agree. He was apologetic, and admitted to his own mistakes when surprisingly she pointed out how his words had hurt her. They both spoke the darkest of their faults and times without any hesitance knowing well that only the other would understand it. I can't get over their conversation...which went from hopeful, to reality, and then to a resolution they finally took.

Although on the show such a conclusion might be far etched, it didn't seem unnatural to happen here. It seemed like something the characters we understand would do.

The kiss, the teasing, the to and fro of their witty liners 😳 So IshRa

You are such an amazing writer...The words and expressions you choose amaze me. AND I AM SURPRISED YOU MANAGED A HAPPY END 😆

beautiful one. I read your previous one too, but couldn't comment back then. loved both the updates.
Felt so good when I read the words "US" and "together" in the update. "just for us, just for Raman and ishita. " And then when they realize everything will seem to be good only when they are together for each other even if everything is not really okay. Promising for them to be together, most important of all the other promises. OMG I almost had tears in my eyes, being HIS ishita. "Sirf hamare liye!! " Good one. :) always been a fan of your stories. looking forward for your future works.

They sat down like two mature individuals and spoke to each other. Both accepted their blunders and have decided to work towards a bright future because they may goof up but as you've aptly said; their love overpowers all their senses. This is perfection Nidoo & you've done your best, yet again

I had tears in my eyes wen pihu told abt ruhi's condition then ishita's breakdown n raman comforting her...
'Together' 'us' 'them' words like music to my ears..finally 'hamare liye'...
