Zoya, again a wonderful post.
Reading my version would really make you think that am insane. But still, I need to spill it off. So here I am.
Why do I feel that Raman is on a mission, precisely on a secret mission? Mission Ruhi is Ishita and Raman's mission. And owing Ishita again is Raman's secret mission. We cannot forget the fact that no one can plan anything better than Raman without anyone's knowledge. Except Ruhi's exchange plan, everything that he planned has been a success- especially his plans that circled around Ishita. Its evident that Ishita can make this man do what she wanted him to do. She has that power on him. And Raman can also make Ishita what he wanted to do. He too has the same power over her. Though both of theirs ways are different. Ishita is so straight forward. Her lectures are her way. But for Raman it is not. Raman Bhalla has his own style.
Raman was the happiest man when he saw Ishita at the police station. But the addressing of herself as "amma" for another girl other than his children put him in a chaos. He is a man of many complexities. But the chaos never let Raman think much, but to act insanely- each and every time. He was confused with her relation status. He could not ignore the fact that Mani loved her. At that time he feared that what does Ishita actually feel for him- does she still love him or has she forget him already, or is she still angry on him. He knew his harsh words were the reason for her suicide. But when she is well alive in front of him, he could not really comprehend what she feels for him. And for Raman anger is the best way to suppress all his hidden feelings, chaos, confusion and everything.
Raman Bhalla was jealous of Mani -- seriously jealous. That was long back. Then his wife asked, "how did you think that I love that stupid Mani?". But now at first when he was confused with their relation status, he was angry on her, on all her doings. His anger overpowered him. He could know anything about the three. And at that moment, this man did each and everything to hurt her"only to hurt her. He again spilled those venomous words to her, he taunted her everywhere he found her, he burned her things, he declared his re-marriage with Shagun, he declared himself and Shagun as their child's parents disowning her relation to the child. Though he declared his marriage and got ready to marry Shagun, he could not stand the fact that Ishita will marry Mani that too from the person he hates only for the addressing that she address his children's mother. And the possibility of her getting married to Mani still do exist. And he very well know that it is not the love for Mani, but a daughter-- Aliya. The mother in her, he knows will never die.
Raman taunted her about her relation status was to know what relation she shares with Mani. His taunting of Shagun once was entirely different. But to Ishita, she felt that Raman is thinking that she had cheated him. On the night they got drunk, it began with the same relation issue deep down. They were talking about themselves and the presence of two others also was felt in between them. After they got drunk, Ishita says that he has not changed. He is the same. Her Raman was still alive. She found it. This woman could understand him. And for Raman it was the same feeling. Ishita was the same, not changed a bit. His Ishita was still alive. She was/is only his. From that point, the two others in between them started to disappear slowly. The disturbance on the time of the marriage with Shagun was the reflection of that. He caressed her things that he never did (though we don't know exactly), he felt his Ishita. The anger has changed to something else to Raman.
On the same day when they found out Ruhi, he addressed them together as one to Ruhi. As Shagun said to Adi, that it was not necessary for Ishita to enter to Bhalla house to get Ruhi. There was nothing actually much complex. The "real" parents were getting married, and they could say that Ruhi would get a family ambiance. And to Ruhi, Raman could tell that Ishita is no more her Ishima, she is somebody else's "amma." If really Ishita had married or going to get married to Mani, would you think that Raman would get Ishita to his house. To house, it may happen--this man does anything for his kids. But straight to bedroom, explaining his relational status with Shagun. The man who shouted his lungs out when her family proposed him to get married for Shagun, for Pihu, he simply asked "par Pihu?" when everyone asked Ishita to stay in Raman's room. When his mother told that she will take care of Pihu, he had no issues. When Adi answered Pihu's query of "haar wali aunty's" stay in papa's room, he literally cooled down. After a long time, he shared a simple smile with his son.
The very first night in their bedroom he told his pain. She uttered sorry. He knew she will. But he also know that to accept her sorry, he has to fix his mistake first. He has to tell more of his state to her. He has only time till Ruhi comes. He wanted her to understand him, what her walking way will cause his life, how important is she to him till now...like it was everything before. But Raman Bhalla will show off everything in an attitude.
Raman knew where he went wrong. He has never accepted his mistakes. But to Ishita he told that they both have committed mistakes. And he very well knew that Ishita's mistake was the continuation of his mistake. So he has to fix it first. And he began. Letting her keep her dresses in his cupboard, her sleeping in his bed, even though he is having severe backpain is all the initials that we could not ignore. He had no issues while she massaged him, moreover he enjoyed the most. The flirty talk with her about a kind of intimacy in yesterday's episode is him directly telling her that he still desires her. Exiting from the room he self-talks "ab sab pehale jaise hoga." It was not only about Ruhi, it was about Raman and Ishita too- their family. He has unconsciously made it a point that he will not let go off Ishita this time. Yesterday he addressed Ishita as "baabiji" to Neelu - infront of Shagun. But he has to mend more things on their way to paradise. Pihu is one of them. It was a situation which came like a boon to him and he made use of it. He took her to Pihu's school. And of Ishita addressing her as "massi" (OLV), from no one, or from "haar wali aunty" she claimed herself as "maasi" of her daughter. Raman would make her call their daughter as her soon. That would be for the mistake for telling him that she won't claim their child (though it was for Pihu of which Raman was totally unaware of). And that would be for the mistake that he committed by calling her as no one to their daughter, for calling Shagun as "asli maa."
It is very evident that Pihu is not attached to Shagun as Shagun shows off. Neither she is. When she was asked that doesn't she have any problem in staying "haar wali aunty" and papa in a room, she without a second thought told that she is not. Remember how Ruhi was affected when Ishita was not taken to the so called family picnic, that too just for a day. During Shagun's stay at Bhalla house when Ashok threw her away, Ruhi did not allow Shagun to linger near Raman, she even protested Adi. That was her love for her mother. Shagun proves her to be a bad mother again and again. Yesterday when Ruhi fell down, she had time to beat Shravu and give him a full long lecture about his incapability, but had no time just to ask her daughter where she has hurt. She dint spare a moment to look in to her injury. That mother she is"a mother who disowned a daughter who was month's old, left her children to death, and now claiming a daughter who is not her's and using her.
The OLV of Ishita tying him up is also in his plan. Playing along with her and making her come along with his direction. He wants her to believe that it is only she who can control him. And it is very true. He wants others to believe that only Ishita can control him. It is quite successful also. He got control over his anger--Simmi told her. His mother told that everything is becoming normal and Ishita is secretly enjoying it. The man who touched the feet of Ashok for his Ishita, will not say a sorry to his brother whom he still loves, that too for his daughter? That is unbelievable. What Raman wants is that Ishita should do this. He wanted to prove her and everyone that only Ishita can do this-- to make him budge. If it would have been anyone else other than Ishita, he would have smashed and killed.
And for the precap, let it play out. The only thing is that he is showing is every side of their relationship to her. Will she able to go back if Ruhi claims her back as her Ishima? Who know this better than Raman Bhalla? "Ruhi ke liye" at this time for Raman is just to keep Ishita to himself for sometime and claim her altogether. He may be showing the vacuum in her life that would be created if she leaves them.
As I said at the beginning, this man knows how to make his wife to come on his way!!!
I don't know if I had made any sense.
So sorry for coming with a long one. Couldn't resist myself.
