When you said you were writing a happy part with a twist I had never imagined that reading through a beautiful moment with all my favourite characters, without the sadness lurking around would end up being a dream

I know 😛 I actually hadn't planned it that way, but once the happy part got over, it just felt incomplete to me ☺️

Both the parts were complete opposites of each other...One of a future they could have had...where they would be together and their kids wouldn't be devoid of a normal family and love. A beautiful and normal life. IshRa romance, their moments together and their love only growing over the years... The kids a mirror to that relation...who have grown up to be reflections of the beautiful bond their parents share rather than reflect on the dysfunctional relations they actually do share on the show.

I'd have loved to see something like this if the show grew at it's pace, and the story proceeded normally without drama Hence, the inspiration to pen it down.

And then suddenly Raman wakes up and it's all a dream. I was literally surprised I wasn't expecting it to be one at all 😳 But I enjoyed that part just as much and even a bit more. Because on the show we don't get Raman even acknowledging those feelings...but if we've known Raman it's obvious he's never let a day go by when he wasn't crying over what' he's lost and when he didn't dream of what they could have had...And just the thought makes me cry...Your words, the way you express the emotions they both are going through makes it hit hard 😭

I remember you called me Ekta for this 😲 😭 But I forgive you for that 😆 I just hate the way Raman's character has been treated. Actually the way both their characters have been treated, but at least Ishita sometimes gets an emotional outburst (even if it's with Mani). Whereas Raman has been converted into a jackass-cum-comedian-cum-monster 😡

My most favorite moment is when he reaches to her at night by the couch and irons the frown on her head. He wants to give her solace although he's fighting a battle that everything is still about Ruhi and not them...But they both know they moved ahead and beyond that years ago... And to come back to where they started from is wrenching..

They're both fighting a battle every second of every day, aren't they? 😭 But I would like to believe that in moments like these when neither the world nor Ishita is privy to his emotions, he would take his mask down and feel her pain too 😭

The title is so apt...If the YESTERDAY hadn't been devastating, their present wouldn't have been this hollow...It's like it was just Yesterday that they had a dream world that's now a nightmare. I can't put in words but it's got a haunting feel to it...

I couldn't think of the title for the longest time for this one, until it just struck me that the song there is in the story, is just perfect 😳

Thank you for another master piece Nids 🤗 As usual, your work leaves me in awe, inspired and feeling so much better about characters which the show doesn't know how to utilize.
