This was beautiful, beautiful in a heartwrenching way. The beauty lies in the moments they are spending, the first peaceful sleep of the pair in the last 7 years, them being at home where they belong. And it pains because they are on a countdown, when it will be morning and they wake up with the alcohol induced delirium broken it would bring back the harsh reality of their relation back and this beautiful dream would shatter.

They truly are on a countdown. These are moments stolen from their otherwise stressed and multi-faceted relationships, where they are battling with their own selves as well as each other every minute of every day. It indeed was the most peaceful sleep they'd had in 7 years, and wil be so for a long time to come, till the mess sorts out.

Raman just lay there and acknowledges his hearts every desire. Him staring at her beauty, at the changes in her. Remembering their moments spent in the past, their first time when they were so close. The highlights were when he touches her and she involuntarily says his name, so reponsive to his touch, so familiar go it that she could know it in her sleep and his reaction to that revalation was beautifully expressed by you. The man who has once again build a guard around himself, worn a mask feels it wear off when no one is seeing, when he is alone with the only person who gives him the will to live sleeping in his arms. And then when he sees the time and fears that the next 4 hours would take them back to the living hell they have been in, and he wants to live every last bit of it to cherish it.

Can these two ever have enough of each other? Especially if he has found her like an oasis in the desert after all these years, for a few hours, all alone, in her elements, without their families, without their hurt, without their pretense against each other. He can yell and lash all he wants, but he will always find his home in her. And so will she.

This was beautiful and painful, made me gush and then tear. You are a genius Nids, especially when it's do with emotions. Lovely work and beautiful lyrics to go with it 😳
