If people know me on this forum, they know I love being positive, picking on the best out of the worst. And when I defend Raman or even try understanding his character amidst all that is happening it maybe seen as my bias. BUT NO ITS NOT. I love IshRa and to love both I cannot have the creatives forcefully pushing me to hate one of them, be it Ishita or Raman. They are flawed, they both make mistakes and we all call out on them for it, but if a character is made to forcefully look so crass and OTT without a lead to it only to emphasize how the woman has to be the victor (like Krishy says) and the man has to grovel, that isn't how I perceive a story at all. NOT A STORY that's previously spoken of better qualities in both men and woman, such degradation of one to glorify the other isn't what I can digest. It's not that I am troubled by his behavior because I root for him, its because I root for IshRa that his behavior troubles me. That this unending bias and need to glorify and empower a woman irritates me.

I am so happy Ishita stood up for herself, but it equally hurts that Raman had to be TOLD this. For a man previously shown to be someone who had the guts to accept his mistakes and correct them, him not even thinking it to himself is disappointing. For the life of me I do not understand why the characters need to go to such extremes and if they are, then why is there no explanation?

I am done with this show until it offers me a little more balance. I cannot see either of these two leads being destroyed so much that they can't be recognized.

Well, nowadays the members here can be broadly divided to two groups... the ones relating to only n only Ishita n the ones who r able to relate to both Ishita n Raman, inspite of repeated Raman hurting Ishita scenes...but one thing is common, neither of the group have any faith left on the comeback of Raman, the character...everybody have zero faith in Cvs...
I belong to the second group...but somehow I still believe that Raman is not gonna end up as the so called Jaanwar as being depicted now...I believe much more is yet to unravel which will show the actual state of mind of Raman...
