I agree with your POV Kri.
It really pisses me off when Raman spills such venom on Ishita day-by-day by his choice of words, out of anger, jealousy, guilt and possessiveness...
He is angry on Ishita , for the reason that she has hid her existence for 7 years from him, not even bothering about her own biological kid and is now resurfacing again with the man he was always insecure of losing his love to, along with a girl calling her amma .When she did not bother about her own children, there is one girl calling her Amma.
The only reason for his existence now is Pihu, who he is extremely possessive of. Now that Ishita has come to live in the same society and the circumstances has led Pihu closer to the truth now, he is extremely afraid of losing her in the name of custody.
Can all these not be communicated or handled to the viewers clearly with one single scene atleast as an self conversation (atleast in a drunk state)? If KP can bring out the real emotions of Raman despite the crass dialogues that he speaks so very well, he can for sure nail such a scene, convincingly... Kaash, someone listens... Everything is going to deaf ears.
The CVs have chosen to glorify Ishita by portraying Raman so badly, that Ishita's actions over the years, which are equally wrong are completely forgetten and only Raman's dialogues are remembered.
I still remember a scene where Raman was hesitant to even let Ishita go to Vandu's godh bharai, just because Vandu's MIL will call her bhaanj and he cannot see Ishita being insulted. Now this man is pouring such words every time he meets her. This is not the RKB who I admire... But I cannot hate him either, as he is not completely wrong. His approach of confronting Ishita is what that is making matters worse.
Raman's character is being royally butchered beyond redemption. Unless the emotional battle within Raman is put across very clearly and they stop Raman from using such harsh words for Ishita, the redemption of Raman is not going to be justified. But I am pretty sure that in the name of redemption, CVs will come with a comic set of one liners from Raman which even Ishita will be OK with and they will happily unite... Really CV's lack senses and we can owe all this to one creative man, who calls us the barking dogs...
