He's hurting as much as Ishita, because in his eyes Ishita is alive but cannot be his(probably he has presumed she's moved on with Mani and settled with him) so this is his way of making her hurt the only way he can...make her feel how indifferent he's to her as she's to him (in his eyes, her decision to stay away from them for 7 years => indifferent to their feelings). so he's hitting where it hurts her the most: separating the kids from her (notice in his monologue during the exchange with Pihu he acknowledges her as Pihu's asli mom) and make her feel that he doesn't care about her also.
This is another build up of 1st mani track proportion where his jealousy, his insecurity took over all his rational thinking...only thing now everything is of crude proportion as in dialogues...so it's hard to digest as a woman what he's saying. The cvs will mess this up too as soon as the TRPs start falling and do another inebriated lollypop scene or comedy circus.
Raman is by nature insecure...he lashes out preemptively if he feels he's going to be hurt. Look at the change in his body language/dialogue when he didnt know Ishita was alive...he was telling that his son's mother(Ishita) has imparted him with all the right values...but later on he gets upset with Adi for trying to unite Pihu and Ishita.
No offence I'm just trying to make some sense of this track.
Having said that, Raman's dialogues need to be softened a bit...after all he's an educated man..not some uneducated brat
