Hello friends,

Finally I am posting the chapter which is written or re modified by me. I don't know whether it will be as per your expectations, but I really tried my best. Now enjoy the update..

Chapter 20

Raman was sleeping, resting his head on the chair whereas Ishita was resting her head on his shoulder when the nurse came out and called Raman. Raman woke up and hurriedly was going to get up when he saw Ishita was sleeping peacefully, he calm himself down and looked at the nurse.

Nurse : Mr. Bhalla he gained conscious...

The nurse informed him when Raman nodded, soon the nurse left from there, Raman looked at Ishita sleeping, he didn't want to wake her up, he cuddled her protectively when some hair strands fall on her eyes, Raman gently tucked them behind her ear when Ishita felt his touch and immediately woke up. Seeing her, Raman loosen his grip on her shoulder. Ishita realised she was resting on his shoulder, so getting little embarrass, she was going to part away from him when her mangulsutra stuck in his button. Both looked at each other for some time and finally Ishita tried to free them but it was stuck in a manner that she couldn't able to do it, meanwhile Raman simply staring at her, Ishita felt his gaze on her, she looked up at him and they shared an eye lock when Raman heard some footsteps and came back to his sense, Ishita quickly untied the chain and gets up. Meanwhile Mrs. Iyer and Mihir came to them.

Mrs. Iyer : Raman.. How's Vishwa?

Raman looked at Mihir who said : I am sorry bhai, but I asked auntyji to stay at home but she didn't listen to me.

Raman sighed and walked to Mrs. Iyer, he placed his both hand on her shoulder and said : Amma.. You should take rest. Me and Ishita is here no!!

Mrs. Iyer : No. I want to meet him. Tell me, how's he??

Raman : He came back to his sense, doctor is checking him.

He then looked at Ishita and eyed her to support Mrs. Iyer, Ishita came and made her sit. Raman came near to the cabin door and looked at him, then he left from there.

Few times later, doctor came out from the cabin when Mihir and Ishita both rushed to them..

Ishita : Doctor.. How.. How's my father??

Doctor : Don't worry Mrs Bhalla, he is out of danger.

Ishita : Can.. Can I meet with him?

The doctor shook his head when Ishita was going to enter the cabin when someone's voice stopped her : Wait Mrs. Bhalla you can't meet with him.

Ishita turned at the direction and found a inspector was standing there with his constable.

Ishita : What do you mean inspector? He is my father.

Ishita said while approaching towards him.

Inspector : Yes I know Mrs.Bhalla but before the enquiry you can't meet with him. Let us complete the enquiry first.

Ishita was going to say something when she heard Raman's voice from behind : What happen inspector? You know who is she??

He looked at them furiously as if he will burst out.

Inspector looked down and calmly said : I am sorry Mr. Bhalla but we are doing our duties. Please co-operate with us.

Ishita looked at Raman who was still not convinced so she said : Leave it Raman. And Inspector please let me come with you inside the cabin.

Inspector nodded and they entered in the cabin. Mr Iyer was lying on bed, the machines were connecting on her body. Hearing the footsteps he looked at Ishita and smiled.

Ishita approached to his side and asked with concern : Appa how are you?

Mr. Iyer blinked his eyes in response and then looked at the Inspector.

Inspector : Mr.Iyer can you tell me exactly what happen yesterday??

Mr Iyer closed his eyes to remember the scenes when Raman yelled : Can't you see he is not okay!!

Seeing him furious Mr. Iyer said : I.. I am okay Raman beta.. Inspector I.. I was driving the car when... When two truck blocked my way and they.. They were driving so harshly... And suddenly a truck came from opposite way and I.. I lost my balance...

Inspector : Did you see the drivers??

Mr. Iyer tried to remember but didn't recall anything so he nodded no.

Inspector : Thank you Mr. Iyer. Ugh!! Mr. Bhalla can you please come with us for a second.

Raman felt something nostalgic, he looked at Ishita and gave her a assuring smile and left.

Raman : What happen inspector?? Is everything fine?

Inspector : Mr Bhalla I don't think it was any normal accident.

Raman looked at him confused and then asked : What do you mean?? Tell me clearly.

Inspector : I think someone tried to harm him.

This statement made him shock, he asked : How can you be so sure about it?? I mean appa haven't any rival, he is very simple person.

Inspector : I am not sure about it but hearing his statement I felt so.. But you don't worry. We will find the real culprit.. You take care of him. I should leave.

Saying this they left from there. Raman was trying to figure out the matter, he recalled Mr Iyer saying about two truck blocked his way, yes!! No one intentionally never does it.

Raman : If its true then his life is in danger. I.. I can't take any risk.

He sighed being so frustrated when he heard Ishita's voice : Raman!!

Ishita patted on his shoulder when Raman turned at her with hesitation.

Raman : Ishita.. You.. You here??

Ishita : What happen Raman?? You are looking tense and what the Inspector was talking with you?

Raman just ignored her gaze on him and replied : Nothing Ishita.. He was just telling me that he will look after the matter.

Ishita asked seeing him restless : Is it so Raman?

Raman looked at her and chuckled : Of course Madrasan.. What else can be? And don't behave like Jagga Jasoos.

Ishita rolled her eyes saying : You just need a chance to tease me.

Raman smiled and then said : You don't worry. Everything is fine!! You go inside. I am going to meet with the doctor.

Ishita nodded and walked in when Raman sighed deeply, he thought : I am sorry Ishita. But I will not inform you anything since the things get confirm. But now I have to protect him..

Saying this Raman left and after sometime he came inside the cabin with the doctor, doctor checked him and said : Mr.Iyer you are quiet fine now, you are recovering very fast. So I am discharging you. But you please take care of yourself. I will send a doctor everyday for regular check up.

Ishita looked at doctor confused as he met with a big accident and now how can doctor discharge him so easily, so she said : But doctor he just met with an accident yesterday only and today only you..

The Doctor immediately looked at Raman, Ishita too followed his gaze.

Raman : Ishita.. See!! Appa is fit and fine. And I am doing what is much needed now. Appa will be recover soon at home, having dhosa idli made by amma. Isn't amma??

Mrs Iyer shyly looked down but Ishita wasn't convince, she was going to say but Raman again said : Trust me. He will be fine at home.

Ishita looked at his eyes and nodded helplessly.

Raman : Mihir please complete all the formalities. We are taking him home today.

Mihir : Sure bhai..

Finally they all brought him home safely. Being a doting son in law, Raman does his every duty. Raman helped him to laid on bed.

Raman : Appa now take some rest.

Mr Iyer held his hand in him and said : Thank you beta!! You supported my family in their bad times.

Raman : Appa its my family too. Now don't talk much and take rest and have your medicines on time.

Ishita looked at Raman, she never seen this side of Raman, he is so responsible towards his family that touched her heart. After having a conversation with Mr Iyer, Raman came out from the room and Ishita followed him.

Ishita : Raman where are you going??

Raman turned at her asking : Why?? Back to home Madrasan.

Ishita's face became sad, she said : Umm.. Raman!! Can.. Can we go after some time later please.

Raman looked at her and smiled seeing her pout, he said : Did I tell you WE are going back??

Madhu looked at him with wide eyes when he continued : No right?? We are not going back. I am going only!! You stay here. Amma and appa both need you.

Ishita smiled saying : Thank...

But before she could complete Raman said mischievously : Ahh no need to say thank you. Madrasan you know me.. I never do anything without profit, business man you know!!

Ishita folded her arms on her chest and looked at him and tried to figure out what he is trying to say.

Ishita : Means??

Raman : Means... If you stay here then I can sleep on my bed for few days right? And moreover there will be some peace, no chaos, no lectures.

Ishita : Raman you!!!

She hit on his arm playfully and he smirked then said : Take care biwi.

Ishita : You too!! And call me when you reach.

Raman nodded and going to leave when Ishita said : ... And listen take some rest and have food time to time and if you don't find anything then call me any time.

Raman : Okay meri maa..

Ishita smiled when Raman going to leave but again she said : ... Listen!!

Raman turned and flicked his eyes, she continued : Don't work at night. Have proper rest. You looking very tired.

Raman : Sure.. Anything else?? Complete it in a go.

Raman asked raising his one eye brow when Ishita nods no.

Raman : Can I go now??

Ishita smiled and bid bye to him.

Raman entered in the house when Toshiji saw him, she rushed to him to support him as he had fractures on his leg, she made him sit on the sofa.

Mrs. Bhalla : Raman puttar!! How is Mr Iyer??

Raman : Yes ma.. He is fine now!!

Mrs Bhalla : Thank god.

She thanked God and then she looked behind at the door and asked : Raman Ishita??

Raman : Actually ma I told her to stay there. Appa isn't recover yet, may be Amma needs her.

Mrs Bhalla : Yes. You did right.. Okay!! You go and get fresh. I will send some food for you.

Raman came back to his room and looked around, then he took his towel and straightly went to fresh, after taking a cold bath, he had his lunch when suddenly he remembered Ishita asked him to call.

Raman murmured : This Madrasan will eat me alive...

He instantly picked his phone and dialed her number but it was unreachable. He tried few more times but every time he get same response, so he have him lunch and then went to his room.

Evening,

Ishita came to her room after finishing all her works and directly checked her phone whether Raman called her or not, but she gets disappointed but at the same time she gets fume. She angrily called him but he didn't receive her call.

Ishita : What is he doing??

She tried his number few more times but he didn't receive, she angrily throw the phone on bed and left the room.

At night, Ishita again checked but no call came from him, she gets tense, seeing her in tension, Mrs Iyer asked : Ishu what happen? You are looking tense.

Ishita : No amma Nothing...

Mrs Iyer : Ok.. Come and have your dinner.

Ishita : You go.. I am coming.

Mrs Iyer nodded and left the room. Ishita again tried his number and finally Raman received the call after three ring.

Raman : Hello!!

Ishita burst out in anger : What do you mean hello.. Hunn?? I told you to call me when you reached. But no!! You forgot... Do you have any idea how much I am worried for you. You never listen to me Raman.. You always does what you want..

Raman : Relax Madrasan.. Let me explain!!

Ishita asked in rage : What explanation will you give me hunn???

Ishita's out bursting made Raman angry, he said : Stop it Ishita!! Let me finish... I wasn't feeling well, so I was sleeping. I called you many times but due to some network problem I didn't contact with you.

Hearing this Ishita calm herself down, she bite her tongue that she mistook him : Umm... I.. I am sorry Raman. Actually I was so worried for you. Sorry!!

She apologised and then asked : Okay tell me do you have you dinner??

Raman instantly replied : No!!

Sensing he was still mad at her, she said : Raman I am telling you na sorry...

Raman : It's okay.. I will talk with you later. Bye!!" He hang up the call.

Ishita thought : Ravan Kumar!!!

After 30 minutes,

Raman was sitting in his room, though he wasn't anymore angry on Ishita but didn't bother to call her. He wasn't feeling well as he gave blood to Mr. Iyer and moreover his plasters on his leg and hand, they were irritating him. He couldn't able to work and that made him more irritate. Though he is capable to work but his Madrasan strictly instructed him not to work till he gets fine, so without having any option, he was playing his pass time game Candy Crush. Just then Raman heard a knock on the door.

Raman : Come in.

Neelu walked in the room with the dinner plate and placed them on the table saying : Raman bhaiya.. Mummyji send the dinner for you.

Raman didn't look at her, just replied : Okay!! You place them their and go. I will have it.

Neelu nodded and took a leave. After a while Raman completed the part which he was playing and then looked at the table and gets furious.

He shouted : Neelu!! Neelu..

Hearing his voice, she walked in huffed when he started scolding : What is this haan?? Who asked you to give me milk? You know I don't like to have it. Take it back.

Neelu : But bhaiya..

Raman : What? Have you become deaf? Take it away..

Just then his phone rang, he received the call : Say!!

Ishita : Why are you scolding Neelu? She did.. What I asked her!! Now have the milk like a good boy.

Raman eyed Neelu to leave and continue his conversation with her.

Raman : What?? Is it your work?? Yaar you have gone to your home, enjoy there no!! Why are you still behind me. You enjoy and let me enjoy.

Ishita : Raman.. Shut up!! I know you aren't well, you are just pretending!! So, please have it. It's good for your health.

Raman : You don't worry about my health. You look after your appa. He needs much care than me!!

Ishita : Okay fine. Then if you again fall sick, then I will ask the doctor to give you injection. That time don't get angry on me.

Raman rolled his eyes and whispered : Whatever!!

It was audible to her, so she said : Please Raman!! Have it no!! See.. I know you don't like it, even I too!! But I have a solution.. Umm!! Do one thing.. Just hold your breath and gulp it in one go."

Raman faked a smile : Do you think, I am kid? That you are trying to change my mind with your words.

Ishita : But your acting speaks much than your words. I wonder how will be your kids if their father is like this...

Ishita just spill the beans without thinking and realising what she said, Raman's eyes widened. He asked : What?? What you said?

Meanwhile Ishita too realised what she said, she bite her lips : Umm!! What? What I said? Did you hear something?

Raman : Kids what?

Ishita hit her head being so stupid, but she composed and said : Umm.. I said, kids never does what you are doing.. Now have it and take your medicines. Bye!!

She didn't let him speak and hang up the call, Raman smiled and then had his dinner. After that he took the milk glass in his hand and looked at it with dirty faces and recalled Ishita's suggestion and he does the same and then murmured : Pagal Madrasan..

Toshiji was looking at him from outside the room and smiled thinking : Only Ishita can handle you Raman. And unknowingly you are falling in love.." She added and blessed both of them with a smile.
