Chapter 24
Next morning Ishita woke up from her sleep and directly looked at the couch where Raman was sleeping but she didn't find him was there, she looked all around when she heard the door is opening, she looked at the direction and found Raman walked in room with tea tray.
Raman : Good morning Madrasan..
Ishita was hell shocked as far she knew him, he was not the person who woke up early and would bring tea for his wife.
Raman forward the tea cup asking : Take it.. I made it with my own hands!!
He offered, another shock for Ishita, she took it from his hand and blankly looking at him when he asked : Taste it..!!
She smiled and took a sip when he asked : How's it??
Ishita : It's nice..
Raman jumped saying : Yes I knew it.
Ishita chuckled thinking he was behaving like a kid who just won something precious.
Raman : Okay Madrasan.. I kept your dress there so now go and get fresh.
Raman said and going to leave when Ishita held his hand making him turn at her side and then checked his forehead asking : Raman!! Are you alright??
Raman : Yes Madrasan..
Ishita : Then why are you behaving so weird?? It doesn't suit you.
Raman : Oh come on..!! You only yesterday said I was roaming behind Shagun day and night so just thought to give my time to you.. I am your servant for today!!
Ishita raised her eyebrow shockingly.
Ishita : Really..??" and smiled and became happy...

Ishita : Raman what are you doing?? Why are you running behind me all time..? Everyone is staring at us. Let me work.. I have enough things to do..
Ishita said while checking the decorators were looking at them with a giggle as Raman was roaming behind Ishita where ever she was going..
Raman : Madrasan don't get stress, just order me..
Ishita : Really..?? Subha se aap jitne bhi kam kiya hai sab galat kia.. How will I give you responsibility now..?
Raman : I will do it. Trust me..!! Now just order me.
Raman spread his hand the way SRK does and said dramatically : Ae Ishita.. Don't underestimate the power of a hal..
He paused as if he was going to copy the dialogue when Ishita raised her one eyebrow.
Raman : I.. Mean.. Business man.
Ishita rolled her eyes and handed him a bucket of flowers saying : Now decorate the place. And please for god sake koi galti maat karna.
And she left to do other works. After sometime, Ishita was passing from where Raman was decorating, she stopped there and looked at him, he was like - decorated himself with the flowers.
Ishita yelled : Raman..!! what are you doing..? Get down from the stool.
Raman : Arey Madrasan wait..
Ishita : No..!! You get down right now.
Raman got down asked : What happened..?
Ishita : Are you decorating the place or yourself..?
She asked while removing the flower garland from his shoulder.
Ishita : I told you can't do this. Now stay here. I will do it.
Ishita stands on the stool and did it correctly when suddenly her feet slipped and she was going to fall but Raman hold her in his arms. They shared an eye lock, Shagun who was passing from there noticed and smiled.
Raman : Are.. Are you alright??
He asked and made her stand on her feet, Ishita nod. That was a awkward moment for both of them, Raman was looking all around when he saw Shagun was standing away from them and smiling, dancing and did some dramatic moves, Raman rolled his eyes and looked at Ishita saying : Be careful from next time.
And Raman left from there, Ishita looked on and followed him when she found him joining Shagun, she angrily left from there.
Raman walked to Shagun asking : What..?? Why are smiling??
Shagun : Joru ka gulam hun..?
Raman : No. Nothing like that.
Shagun : Yeah. Yeah..! Whatever..! By the way, you doesn't love her then why are manofying her..?
Raman stretched his shoulder saying : Because I don't want to sleep on couch. It's really painful.
Shagun : Couch..? You slept last night on couch.?
She asked with wide eyes, Raman looked at her and made faces.
Shagun : Ohh..!! So finally your Madrasan showed her Jhansi ki rani avatar.
She giggled, Raman raised his hand to slap her saying : Shut up..! Or else there will be no distance in my hand and your beautiful cheek.
He patted on her cheek and left from there, Shagun laughed.

Raman was standing on the balcony, near to the staircase, it had been two hours, he didn't talk with Ishita as she was busy in works, Raman was looking all around when his eyes fall on her, Raman saw her coming from kitchen while placing her pallu around her waist, making her milky waist visible, he had a urge feeling to touch her waist but instantly he moved his eyes controlling himself, he looked at her and found her tying her hair in a bun and few hair strands left on her forehead, she looked beautiful, Raman smiled when Ishita felt his gaze on her, she looked up at the stairs and their eyes met. Raman signaled her hair strands, she raised her eyebrows when Raman moved his finger on her air in a manner as if he tucked the strands behind her ear, Ishita shyly looked down under his proximity, she did it and looked up at her and they smiled. When suddenly Raman saw few workers were gossiping and looking at Ishita lustful, actually they were staring at her bare waist which made Raman fume. He quickly climbed down and came behind Ishita who was busy in works, Raman glared at the workers when Raman slide his left hand on her bare waist and untied her pallu making her shock. As soon as Ishita felt his touch, a cold sensation went through her body, her knee started shaking as of any time she can lost her balance. Just then he heard Raman's voice.
Raman : Nazar ko kam pe lagao that will be best for you.
Ishita understood why did he do this but at the same time Raman too realized what he did, he turned at her, that time there was pin drop silence, both were lost of words. Before Ishita could ask or say Raman went from there. Ishita sat there embarrassed.
Raman walked in their room and landed on the bed. He thought : What happened with me..? Why had I such urge feeling..? Oh god..!! I always asked Madrasan for mental check up but now I think I need it most.
Just then he recalled Shagun's word about how to know whether you love her or not.
Raman : Beta pagal hone se acha try this trick.
And he closed his eyes but as usual it was completely dark. He opened his eyes with irritation : Eh..!! Nothing I saw.. All rubbish..!!
He looked around when his eyes fall on their marriage photo, she was looking elegant but that time they hadn't the relation where he admired her for a second. Raman once again closed his eyes and the past few special moments appeared in his mind, her smile, their cute fights. Recalling all these, Raman's face beamed with a huge smile.
"Raman..!!" Raman heard her calling him.
Raman chuckled : Arey wah Madrasan.. Ab tu mujhe sunai bhi de rahi hai.
Ishita : RAMAN..!!
Raman opened his eyes and found her standing near to their bed. He looked at her shocked.
Ishita : What happened..? Where you lost..?
Raman murmured under his breath : In you..!!
Ishita came close to him and snapped her fingers : Raman..!!
She called him when Raman looked at her and irately said : I am not deaf.. I can hear you. Tell me what happened..?
Ishita made faces saying : Eh..!! Actually.. Umm..!! Thanks.
Raman calmly replied : It's okay. Be careful. I won't be with you every time to protect you. So please.
Ishita nodded looking down. Raman knew it could be end with awkward moment, so he asked : Anything else???
Ishita : Yeah will you wear at the puja..? I think you should wear that blue kurta.
Raman : No. I don't like blue. I will wear that black.
Ishita : Raman.. Blue suits you. Don't wear that black in every occasion.
And they end up with a cute fight when Raman irately said : Do anything yaar.. Now leave me alone.
Saying this he walked out from room but once he passed her, he smiled mentally but Ishita was the confuse soul there.
She said : Ajeeb insan hai..!!

In the evening, Ishita was making rangoli outside the mansion where they will burn holika, Shagun came there and asked : Can.. Can I help you??
Ishita looked up at her and smiled with a nod. Shagun to smiled back and bend down on her knees.
Shagun : We didn't talk much right??
Ishita : Yes!! As you always busy with Raman no!!
She replied with a fake smile, Shagun understood and teased her saying : Oh yeah!! Actually we are best of friends so whenever we met, we just forget about everything..
Shagun noticed Ishita's rangoli and continued : You know Ishita, every year I celebrate my holi here with Raman and his family and every year I made this rangoli, but now you take my place.
Ishita's face dropped and she replied : No Shagun, I didn't.. I am just doing my duties as daughter-in-law, if you want you can make it.
Shagun looked at her, she realized her words hurt her, though she didn't mean it, it was just slip of tongue.
Shagun : No Ishita, you make it. I am not so good like you.
Ishita just smiled at her and to lighten the mood Shagun said teasingly : But Ishita tomorrow I'll be the first who put color on Raman.. Every year we put color on each other before anyone can..
Ishita : Umm!! Shagun I have some works inside.. So excuse me!!
Shagun : Yeah sure!!
She smiled when Ishita walked in. Shagun laughed and dramatically acted : Kanta lagaa hay lagaa!!!

Raman and Ishita did the puja together and wished each other, Ishita was little upset all the time which wasn't unnoticed by Raman. Raman walked to her where she was standing alone.
Raman : Ishita..!!
Ishita quickly wiped her shed of tears and turned at him with a hummed.
Raman : What happened..? You okay.?
Ishita : Yes. I am fine Raman.. You go and enjoy. I will join you later.
Raman : You sure..?
She nodded with a smile and he took leave but all the time his eyes were stuck on Ishita. After a while later Ishita joined everyone, she happily attend every guest.

Both Raman and Ishita attend the guests but they stole each other's glance when on a sudden time, their eyes met.

Ishita was the first one who moved her eyes, and continued talking with the guest, but Raman kept staring at her.

After their dinner Ishita went to the terrace and spend some time alone when Toshiji came there.
Toshiji : What happen puttar? You are looking upset?? Did Raman tell you something..?
She asked worriedly. Ishita replied : No mummyji!!
Toshiji cupped her face saying : Ishita, puttar.. I don't know what is bothering you, but I know your relation with Raman is grown up and you can't deny it right??
Ishita looked down, Toshiji continued : Now puttar just forget the past, it was all past. Don't tie yourself with your past now Raman is your present. Tomorrow is your first holi and from now filled your life with color, with Raman's love..
Ishita smiled slightly when Toshiji left from there. Ishita looked at the sky and said : Ranveer you wanted me to move on no..? And I think I get another chance in life. Ranveer I would thought I would be ever happy when you left me but now I can say I am happy.. Happy with Raman.. But I promise no one can take your place in my life. You were special.. And I think mummyji was right, I should start a fresh. Yes..!! Raman, it's our first holi and I will put color on you first and will start my life as new, with YOU...
She prayed to god and shyly smiled. After spending some time there, she went to room where she saw Raman was busy in a video call with his clients. She silently walked in and sit on bed. Ishita was admiring him and remembering their moments with smile. Every time Raman noticed her smilingly but he ignored and after finishing his call he irately asked : Madrasan, am I looking a clown??
Ishita came back to her sense and nod no with a puppy face.
Raman sarcastically asked : Then why are you smiling??
Ishita : Is there any tax on smiling..?
Raman shook his head with sigh and engulfed in work, whereas Ishita again admired him but when their eyes met for a second, he cheeks turned red and she shyly looked down and to avoid his questions she quickly slept.

Once again I stretched it.. Uff..!! But you know sabar ka faal mitha hota hai. By the way the most important thing do not expect confession right now. Because the way I am stretching every update, I can take more than 5-6 update for the confession. So till then enjoy khatti meethi pyar.
