So I see in the forum the usual division about culpability of Ishita vs Raman with respect to their separation. While I blame Raman completely for uttering those words that led to Ishita trying to commit suicide, I blame both of them for where they stand today wrt being responsible parents
Nothing, absolutely nothing can take away the fact those words of Raman still echo in Ishita's minds everytime she has thought about Raman past 7 years... How can anyone move away from the feeling of being called all the tags Raman put on her ?
But then in all these years there were other sufferers too who were collateral victims too.
Their kids.
Adi, Ruhi and now Pihu have all missed out on having both their parents present in their lives during the crucial formative years. All three of them were victims of the grown up decision that left them to be deprived of having a normal childhood. While Pihu on the surface has had a relatively better life with both Shagun and Raman doting her, yet the fact remains that the day she comes to know about Ishita and the other set of maternal family who were next door but still were strangers, it's bound to affect her .
Adi and Ruhi only experienced proper parental nurturing while Ishita and Raman were together and now one is hating them for 'abandoning' her, the other grew up again kinda on his own looks like as his father emotionally estranged himself from him after Ishita 'died'.
So while Raman cannot escape the blame for triggering the events leading to their separation, Ishita cannot be totally be absolved of not being there for Adi and Pihu when they needed both of them. Somehow their feelings for each other kinda numbed them about their accountability to their kids and their nurturing, when they needed it. Adi lost 3 people on that day : Ishima, Ruhi and Raman too.
The kids were victims of their parents' choices.
( please don't start an Ishita vs Raman war here)
