But honestly outside of Adi...isn't every character right now being selfish/only in their own POV...just to varying degrees of obviousness? 😆

It's actually one of the more realistic things right now on the show somehow 🥱

people are inherently selfish. we think, 'what about my pain?' first. we do. especially between a couple. the immediate reaction is why did the other person hurt me.

waise i always liked toshiji-ishu bonding more than toshiji-amma.
she never mocked ishu fr hr weakness which we can see in many desi shows
she ws never the self righteous one lyk kokila modi
and always stood by ishu whenever raman did sth wrong.

i ws pissed off when toshiji wanted sharam marriage bt she knew there can be ni replacement of ishu in Raman's life.

Haha I know after seeing all the doubt on Toshiji's character (who is flakey but then on YHM what character isn't a flake)...it's nice to see her being praised! 😆 but in reality this was the expected reaction if you looked at the first scene of hers post-leap. Maybe she honestly wanted Shagun to marry Raman bc she thought he needed a wife especially after 7 years of Ishita's passing & as much as Shagun is a bane of our existence...she on the show in everyone's eyes is for all intents & purposes improved from before & while it will be interesting to see Toshiji's reaction when Shagun is back...everyone could also still assume Shagun would quietly walk away as she is good & insightful (or something like that)

Honestly it's not surprising to see a contrast in reactions from everyone & I don't think any character should be blamed for how they react to Ishita being alive after 7 years. Nothing is clear and how does anyone in the immediate moment come to terms with the fact someone they thought dead so in fact alive no matter the reason. Everyone is still looking at these stituations through their own lenses and it will take a short while for the shock/anger/denial/self blame to wear off.

As for Raman - it's clear from yesterday he internally is relieved but he too is struggling to come to terms with the situation just as Ishita was struggling to come to terms with seeing drunk Raman or even coming to India.

The next big battle ground for IshRa is the Ruhaan contract - only question is will ishita be back in the Bhalla house by then or not? I personally don't think so but I could be a little pre-emptive! 😆

😆
Yes it ws expected after the first post leap soon...toshiji can b annoyed specially ghar ka chirag rant bt she always supports ishita...i m waiting for shagun's reaction...
Like u said no one is wring its not easy to forget 7yrs n behave normally..everyone will take time..
Raman is genuinely relieved bt will take time to come around ...rite now everyonecis shocked angry hurt..
Now ruhi's truth is on the cards...i too dont think ishita will b back by then bt u nvr know wat cvs hv in mind..

Yep and it makes Ishita more realistic also which is nice...while I personally want her to reflect on the impact of her actions - it makes sense as to why she was only thinking of her frame of mind for once just like Raman. Instead of everything being Ishita versus Raman - if you step back and see it from each character's frame of mind - like you have - it all sorts makes sense & you can see how no one is faultless here. Raman's error is much more obvious but Ishita's error is also there...so for me while one character has a longer path to "redemption," both characters need to be redeemed as the gravity of another's mistake does not automatically absolve anyone else.

Both IshRa are responsible for Adi being essentially abandoned but it's lovely to see that it hasn't jaded Adi from either Raman or Ishita...even though from the OLV it seems Adi-Raman is being strained more so now that Adi almost has an out from Raman.

i honestly think ishita is more complex than Raman. her actions have always demonstrated this sort of plea to the world that she just wants to be loved. the minute she felt that slipped away, after it eluding her for years, her finally finding it, and then it being destroyed, the pain was unbearable for her. Subbu treated her like a bad investment. Raman however, slowly but surely gave her security that she will always be loved. then he ripped her apart. ishita is in my opinion, much more emotionally crippled than raman. yes, raman can't function without her, but ishita on the other hand has had to live with the idea that she is unwanted by a man she loves, who is still in this world. raman thought ishita left the world. ishita lived knowing raman didn't want her.
