The relationship between Ishita-Raman was complicated from the word go. The duo had come together for their mutual love for little Ruhi. Their ideologies clashed, their opinions clashed, their egos clashed ... they were as chalk and cheese

When two people as different as chalk and cheese come together to form a relationship it becomes difficult to reach a middle ground. It becomes all the more tough when the concerned people are adamant that they are just parents to their little girl. Is it however so easy to avoid a mutual admiration paving it's way through to their hearts? Especially, when these are the only two people who have it in them to heal each other's pain!

Raman tried with all his might to keep Ishita away: taunting her kanjeevaram sarees, the Madrasi gun powder, the Muhuratams ... he enjoyed the cultural differences and she joined in with the teasing because here was this one man with who she could be herself and trust him to take it in his stride

Ishita explored an unexplored side of hers in his company that which seemed to have died along with the revelation of the bitter truth of her life. Both had now found a partner who didn't judge them for being silly and acting weird. Instead, they'd take it in turns to rebuke each other. How much fun they had, ah!

Love had found its way into their hearts and they'd reached a point where no word could do justice to their undying love yet there was this one thing which never left their side; Raman's past

It was like a shadow; following and tracing them wherever they went. Raman felt defeated ... he felt helpless ... this Ravan Kumar wanted to go away for his Jhansi Ki Rani's happiness yet the strength of their love was too powerful to even permit him to let go ... she drove him back ... she was left off guard; revealing her deepest of feelings in public ...

Ups, downs, joy, sorrow ... life went on until that one point when it stood at a stand still ... their fears, insecurities; everything came at the forefront ... a notion came and sat into their minds that they had no life together without Ruhi's existence... IshRa fell apart ... you ask why?

Well their inner demons began haunting them! They don't love each other any more or less without Ruhi. Having said that, they feel a sense of completeness only with Ruhi. This child bind them together in a relationship, she was their ROOH ...

Had it not been for ROOH; they wouldn't have been married ... they wouldn't have been together. They are indebted to their little girl so at a point where this little child who's so special to them; is not even with them any longer ... how can they even imagine to lead a normal life?

They fell apart not because they had a problem with each other but because of these deep seethed insecurities; because they failed as parents ... parents to that child owing to whom they had the pleasure of leading a filled life ...!!

P.S. I don't in any manner intend to make this Raman vs Ishita cos I love both my babies equally! Having said that I've tried to balance both sides. As its commonly known; there's not just black or white; there's a lot of grey so here I am with my thoughts on what lead to this break up ...!! Thanks for bearing with me; this might not even be making any sense!!
