How much weird YHM has become! This is not the initial YHM even though CVs are trying hard to make it like so. "The Beauty and the beast" was never the concept of YHM, it was applied after Mani made his first grand entrance just after time slot change. What is the point of all these, if they deliberately make it look like that the ML doesn't deserve the FL and the FL is doing some kind of "ehsaan" by being with or pining for ML while she has better options available. We certainly didn't sign up for this type of cliche story telling.
I am thankful that the initial YHM was aired at 11 pm slot and we got to see a balanced love story where two broken souls had come together two complete each other. If it were aired at 7:30pm, we would have got that we're getting now-- the story of the beauty and the beast. Whether anyone agrees or not, YHM clicked because of its unique concept, had they applied this "beauty and beast" storytelling in the first place, it would have either gone off air in few months or become another SNS by now.

Yhm was surprisingly real till mani happened. ..ishita was real too.. she made huge blunders like normal people and made amends.. she had Normal emotions like jealousy , insecurity etc...post shani track, it was truly as if she had an option of a wonderful life with a wonderful man who loved her to bits and was everything she and her family sought ..but she chose to stay and sacrifice all her happiness for the sake of the man she was married to and more Importantly solving his extended families problems...it was like a available bad deal but we were supposed to empathize. ..
Pre shani yhm..both raman and ishita contributed in completing the other..post shani track that ended. . And post leap they seemed to have gone a step ahead and said here is the life ishita could have lived with shani...but hey she chooses to live in hell with a beast😆
Anyways sadly the beast still seems more real.. and the beauty is too beautiful to be relatable. ..
What works for yhm still though. . And worked at 11pm too is its superb lead pair... they make crap extremely watchable..esp if cvs put a little effort. . They take execution to new heights.. and thats the only thing sustaining the show
