To be true why it matters whether they get married to different partners? What they both got from their marriage? Ishita again going back to where she was with more pain and insult she got from raman and for raman he needs a good caretaker who will take care of his kids and family and will also protect them,..if she fails then throw her out from the house and anyway we can not deny Xena is the real mother (not step mom) of his kids and a changed person now someone whom he used to love once...so why not give her a 2nd chance in his life too..his kids will have their mom and family will have their bahu.
