I am in agreement to your statement about EK's move of hiring a certain Mr Malhotra as lead of her next show. She has sent a clear message to DT that she is on the "out" as far as her favored circle is concerned. It is full on psychology. I have worked in the corporate environment for many years and I know how these things work. Mind games and also strategic moves are commonplace. This was a strategic move on the part of EK. She knows YHM needs DT. So she is not doing anything about her behavior for now. EK may also have pressure from creatives and also channel to maintain the status quo for now. So she is sort of allowing some "free reign" so to speak. But that does not mean she has to like it! Which, she clearly does not. The hiring of Mr Ex is a clear indication of this.

Also, I think the channel needs to wake up. YHM is a big brand for them now, and that brand is being compromised by these endless rumors, unprofessional behaviors and also undue influence and nepotism. If they don't want to be seen as the hand puppets of actors who throw their weight around, they need to take some action now. Because if this keeps going, they will loose other good and talented cast (who will get fed up of being sidelined for Hawaldar-centric storyline) and also viewers who will loose interest because they are being forced to watch a side character being elevated to the role of a lead. Not through merit, but through favoritism which is unacceptable to the audience and would also be unacceptable to the other actors on the show.

Has anyone noticed that the "Boys hang out" in KP's trailer seems to be always Aly, Raj and Sangram? The original Boys club of YHM. I wonder what they all think of this off screen circus?For the record, I do NOT care what people do in their personal lives. But if their personal lives effect the show and / or ruin it, then I will not hesitate to state my displeasure. The actors themselves have brought their personal equations on to the show and effecting the storyline etc. (as per these articles and also current event in SL). So clearly now viewers are within their rights to comment.
