Chapter 14
Ishita saw the chandelier was getting loose and she ran away and pushed Raman and the girl all sudden and the light falls. As it happened in all sudden, everyone gets shocked. "Ishita!!" Toshiji shouted at the top of her voice.
Raman fell on the floor, as the chandelier fall on floor some glass pieces shattered around and it hurt his hand, as the thing happened suddenly, Raman couldn't compose himself from the shock but suddenly he realized that Ishita pushed him, he turned his face at her side shockingly, she was lying unconscious, her hand and forehead was little, Raman scrawled to her and put her head on his lap.
He patted on her cheeks saying : Ishita!! Hey!!
But she was not responding, without a second thought he immediately scooped her in his arm and while climbing the stairs, he instructed Mihir : Mihir call the doctor immediately!!
Everyone followed them in their room, Raman gently placed her on the bed and took a sit near to her head and nd continuously tried to wake her up. After sometime doctor came and checked her.
Raman : Doctor my wife..
He asked with full of concern when doctor asked : Mr. Bhalla let me check her first. Please leave the room.
Raman : No. I won't leave her.
He said firmly holding her hand, seeing him being stubborn, doctor let him stay there when everyone left the room. Doctor checked her, he tied the bandage on her injured place.
Doctor : Don't worry Mr. Bhalla. She is fine.. Actually due to the weakness and the shock, she fainted. But I inject her the medicine. She will survive soon. Please take care of her, specially on her food and medicine.
Raman : Sure doctor. I will take care of her.
Doctor left from there after tying the bandage on his hand. As doctor leave the house, everyone walked in.
Toshiji : Puttar what doctor said?
Raman : She is fine. Don't worry.
Just then Mihir entered, almost huffing, he looked at impatience.
Mihir : Raman come with me once. I have to show you something.
Raman glared at him angrily and snapped : Mihir can't you see Ishita's condition!! How...
But he was cut off by Mihir's words : Please Raman..
Raman saw him worried, so he nodded. They went outside of his room.
Raman : Now what..
Mihir dragged him at the end of the balcony and showed him a rope.
Mihir : See it!!
But without giving any importance on his words, Raman yelled : Mihir have you gone mad? You are taking me here to..
Raman irately speaking when he was cut by Mihir once again : Raman look at this rope carefully.. It seemed someone cut this intensionally. It was cut from the middle.
Raman looked at him shockingly and then said : Have you lost your mind Mihir?? You mean someone tried to kill Ishita... But how is it possible?? You checked all arrangements yourself then who dares to do this!! No no... I think you are over reacting. It's just an accident. Nothing else!!
Mihir : Really!! Do you think it's coincidence? And by the way, you are forgetting, it was not Ishita bhabhi, it was you who was under that Chandelier and it can possible that someone can try to harm you.
Raman : Mihir relax!! Whatever it is. We will discuss later, right now Ishita is important!!
Mihir : But Raman..
But Raman was not ready to hear anything, he said : Mihir don't take stress much. Go back to your home and take rest...
Mihir gave him question look, Raman looked at him suspiciously, as far he know him, he is up to something, but whenever he did something that makes things worse, so Raman said : Okay fine. I will check this. You don't worry and don't tell about this to anyone.
Raman assured him but still he didn't seem convinced, he said : Sure?
Raman : Yes.
Saying this Raman went inside the room, he looked at Ishita who was sleeping peacefully. Suddenly he remembered what Mihir said, he was lost in his thoughts when he saw Ishita jerked out from her sleep calling his name, "Raman!!"
Raman immediately came near her and sat beside her.
Raman : Ishita are you okay??
He asked with full concern, placing his palm on her cheek.
Ishita : Raman.. You.. Are you okay? That light..
Ishita's eyes filled with tear and her voice was filled with concern, Raman moved little close to her and placed his hand on hers saying : Ishita relax.. I am fine. See!! Nothing happened with me. I'm completely fine.
Ishita looked at him when Raman gently whipped her tears saying : You take some rest. I will bring something to eat.
He made her sleep, covered her with the duvet and walked out giving a slight smile.

Raman came in room with a food tray and saw Ishita was finding something in drawyers.
Raman : Madrasan!!
He called her out and Ishita looked at him shocked. Raman put the tray on bed and came to her.
Raman : Did you take vow to irritate me in every possible way? I told you to take rest and what are you doing here? What are you searching for?? You are weak enough and you had injuries then why are you get out from bed hunn??
Ishita looked at non interestingly, as she knew it will come from him if he found her like this!! She said : Amm!! Nothing Raman.
She was hiding her hand which Raman noticed.
Raman : Why.. Why are you hiding your hand??
Ishita : Nothing Raman!! You go and change. I am fine.
But he forcefully took her hand and saw a deep scratch on her elbow.
Ishita tried to free her hand saying : Raman!! Leave. I can manage.
Raman looked at her and free her hand saying : Okay!! Go ahead.
He handed her the first aid box and sat on the couch. Ishita was trying to wash the place but she was not able to do. Raman came near her and was going to hold her hand.
Ishita : I can..
She said while trying to wash, Raman irritably hold her hand saying : "Hmm!! I can see that..
He then took some cotton and start cleaning. Then he put some oinment and bandanged that place.
Ishita : Thanks.
Raman : Welcome!! Now have your dinner. You have to take medicines.
He said while kept the tray on the table near to the couch, she slowly had her dinner, meanwhile Raman went to change. Once he came back he saw her arranging her bed in the couch.
Raman : What are you doing?
Ishita looked at him confused and said : Making my bed.
Raman : No. You aren't sleeping there.
Ishita : What!!
Raman : Yes. Sleep on the bed. I will sleep here.
Ishita : It's okay Raman.
Raman sternly said : Please. I am too tired to argue with you at midnight. So, do what I am saying to you.
Without second argument, she agreed and slept on the bed whereas he slept on the couch.
Next morning, sun rays fall on Ishita's face and she woke up from her sleep and she yawned when her eyes directly fall on the couch and found Raman was still sleeping on couch, he was little uncomfortable but managed himself. She felt bad when suddenly she heard a knock on door. "Ishita!!" Toshiji called.
Ishita : Yes mummyji coming.
She responded but in next moment she remembered Raman was sleeping on couch and if Toshiji saw him then she will feel bad, she didn't want to let the others know about their relationship. She immediately rushed near him to wake him.
Ishita : Raman!! Wake up fast.
Raman replied on his sleep : Common Madrasan!! Don't irritate me so early. Let me sleep peacefully.
He sounds so sleepy. Ishita tried to wake him up : But Raman.
But all went in vain. "puttar!!" Ishita looked at Toshiji shockingly who was standing at the door.
Ishita : Mummyji... Woh..
She was stammering as she didn't have any word. Toshiji looked at Raman and asked : Why is Raman sleeping here??
Ishita : Amm Mummyji.. Actually... I..
She didn't understand what to say when she suddenly heard a husky voice from behind "Meri jajoos Maa!!" Toshiji and Ishita turned at him. "Raman." Toshiji uttered his name. Raman streched his arms saying : Hmm!! Madrasan, tell your sasu maa why am I sleeping here!!
Ishita looked at him with wide eyes and he smirked at her expression.
Raman : Actually Maa!! You know me how I am sleeping. And nowdays Ishita is not well so I am just sleeping here so that she won't get hurt by me!!
Toshiji : Is it true puttar?
She asked him shockingly, he replied teasingly : Yes maa!! Your son is sacrifies his bed for your bahu.
Toshiji laughed and looked at Ishita and said : Okay!! Ishita puttar!! I am coming to say you today I have kept a puja in our house and you and Raman will do the puja. Yesterday whatever happen I...
But she could complete Raman fumed : What the heck.. It was just an accident. Why are you guys are over reacting so much??
Both Toshiji and Ishita shocked to see his sudden change. Ishita glared at him saying : Raman mummyji just..
Raman : Enough yaar Ishita. I don't want any explanation. Do whatever you want.. But I won't be the part of that puja.
And he left, Ishita looked at her and said : It's okay mummyji.. I will talk to him. We will do the puja. You don't worry.
She assured her with smiling face and looks on.
