* SURPRISE SURPRISE *
I realized I was supposed tor read parts 3A & 3B, but never commented on part 2. Now that I started typing, I have to think of appropriate words which can truly depict what I felt while reading this story.
Its like a parallel universe, one which I had dreamt of or expected YHM to be when I started watching this show. It is too mature and sensible to be true (to be shown on Indian TV 😛) but I expected some of this could have been used in the show as well.
Anyway...
Coming back to this story, I'm in love with your version of IshRa, as I'm sure you know that. They're sane, realistic, and, mature as they should be. Because of the family feud, their relationship is being tested at another level, not where one has to prove his / her love or loyalty to the other, but where they have to prove their worth to their family, together as a single unit. The kind of individuals they are, strong-headed and responsible, even they need mental, emotional, and, physical support, and they're there for each other every step of the way. They way they just understand each other's hurt and play along when the other is trying to cheer them up is so beautiful.
Yet in all the confusion, they haven't forgotten their true selves.
When he saw tiny tears brimming in her eyes he got up, still holding her in his lap and hugged her," Now don't cry Ishita, I don't like it..". She smiled, snuggling closer to him.
"They remind me of the nightmares I used to get when Ma put me to sleep saying, So ja puttar warna chudail aa jayegi."
And the spell broke. She had been loving the evolved Raman Kumar for a change, reeling under a magical spell caste by his thoughtful words when Ravan Kumar struck back.
I also love the fact that he's so concerned about her career and is truly being her equal life partner in all senses.
Raman's conversation with the kids is so heart touching. Their innocent, valid questions, and his thoughtful, understanding responses. Careful that his hurt does not get transferred to his kids, yet making sure they understand the family dynamics, at the same time not giving them any false hopes, keeping them glued to reality. A much thoughtful, and much needed conversation. The way he point blank told them that their Ishima's dignity is above everything else, I'd love to see Ishita talk to them too for Raman's respect. A similar conversation between Ishita & the kids, if I may 😊
I'd love for you to explore Adi-Raman's bond further. How they overcome all those years of indifference and hatred, reach common ground and be friends more than father-son. Same for Adi-Ishita. The age that Adi is in, her initial image / impression wouldn't go away immediately, and even if it does, it'd take some time for them to be as comfortable as they're now (in the show). I know only you can do full justice to it 😳 😊
Loving the way this story is moving forward 😃 And Neets has a HUGE role to play in this, so a biggg thank you to her for all the plots 🤗 and to you, for putting her thoughts and all ours in such beautiful words 🤗
