TOI:Shruti learnt flamenco during her vacation

Shruti Bapna, who plays Divyanka Tripathi's elder sister in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, was on a 25-day break recently. And as she left for London and Spain to satiate the traveller in her, she turned it into a 'learning holiday'. She learnt Spanish and flamenco, the traditional dance in Spain. "Flamenco has a strong influence of Rajasthani folk dance and Kathak " especially the hand and foot movements," she says, adding, "It was a liberating experience and I didn't want to come back. But then here I am, back to my daily routine and Mumbai traffic. The first few days were difficult at the shoot as I was too enthusiastic for my character in the show, which is older than my real age."
