PART 1

Ishita's POV

"Hello Jaan"

"Kya jaan? Bhaad me gayi apki jaan. Ye kya tha Raman?" I began complaining as soon as he received the call.

"I knew it" I heard him mumble.

"What did you know haan?" I demanded.

"Mujhe patha tha ke tumahara call anewala hai. Aur tum complain karogi is baare me" he stated the obvious.

"Agar pata hi tha to aisa prologue kyun likha? Title se laga ke it is going to be full of romance. But ye kya tha? Shuru me hi tragedy! Kya sochke padne chali thi aur kya nikla! I hate you Raman" I whined.

"Arey...Isme hate karne ki baat kahan se aa gayi? Ye to sirf ek story hai baba" he explained.

"IDK. Jo bhi hai likha to aapne hi hai na. Jante ho ki biwi preganant hai. To kuch achha achha likhna tha na. Ab ye padhaoge aap mujh se?" My hormones were on a complaining spree today.

Today? Only today?

Are you kidding me Ishu?

Bechare Raman se pooch pichle do mahine se kya haal bana rakha hai uska...

Ok ok...I know...

But meri control me thodi na hai...

Jo mere hormones bolte hain mai wahi karti hun bas...

"Hello Ishita! Are you there?"

"Haan hoon yahin. Aur kahan jaungi? Aap ne to clinic jaana bhi band karwa diya hai mera" I took the opportunity to argue about the big fat issue we have been quarelling on for the last two months.

"Ishita not again please" he warned.

Umph...I gulped...As u know my husband is ever so sweet.

But when he is angry you know it is serious and it is better to quit.

And I did exactly the same.

"Ok...I won't complain about it. But I can complain about the novel" I came back to the main issue.

"I agree" I could hear him chuckle.

"Has kya rahe ho? Ab solution bolo" I scolded.

"Solution is simple. Agar tumhe nahi pasand aya then just quit reading. As simple as that" he quoted like a pro.

"It is not that simple. How can I quit reading?" I argued.

"Kyun nahi?" he quizzed.

"Kaise quit karun Raman? Ye novel aap ne specially mere liye likha hai. Agar mai nahi padhungi to apko bura nahi lagega kya?" I sulked.

"Bura to lagega. Bahut bura"

Did I hear him stifling a laugh?

"See. I told you na. Isiliye I can't quit reading"

"Koi baat nahi. I will manage"

Why did he sound so fishy?

Was he faking?

"Jo bhi ho. I want to read"

"Are you sure you want to read?"

"Yes I am sure. I want to read"

"Ok phir kisne roka hai tumhe. Go read"

"But the prologue..." I started to whine again.

"Koi baat nahi. Chapter 1 padho. You will feel better" he assured

"Sacchhi?"

"Mucchhhi"

"Aww...you are so sweet Raman. I love you"

"Sahi hai Boss. I hate you se shuru, I love you pe khatam" he commented.

"Hehe...IKR... Ye to roz ka hai na" I reminded.

"Haan bilkul. Isiliye to jab tum I hate you bolti ho to mujhe sukoon milta hai because I know ke I love you is coming after that"

"Ramannn" I do that whenever my heart goes out for him.

"Hmmm"

"Ek baat bolun"

"Haan bolo"

"Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar" I poured out all the love I had for him.

"Mere novel ka naam" he said. I was waiting for a romantic reply but he totally spoiled it.

"Urghhh...Spoilsport. Jao mujhe aap se baat nahi karni" I said my favourite dialogue.

"Achha jaan. Sorry. Mai to bas tumhe yaad dil raha tha ke tumhe novel padhna hai"

"Arey haan. Mai to bhool hi gayi. Aap bhi na mujhe baaton me uljha ke rakh dete ho"

"Ji madam. MAI ne uljhake rakha aapko baton me" he emphasised mai.

"Ummm...whatever. Ab mai phone rakh rahi hun. Mujhe novel padhni hai. Bye"

"Bye. I love you"

"I love you too"

"Novel ke chakkar me khana pena mat bhool jaana. Apna aur hamare babies ka khayal rakhna ok"

"Yess Boss" I mentally saluted him.

"Good girl. Chalo ab bye"

"Byeee" I prolonged the bye and then disconnected the call.

I had a goofy smile on my face at the end of the call while I had a frown when I dialled his number.

That's the effect he has on me.

I gently placed my left hand on my lower belly and bent my head to speak to our Ansh and our Rooh

"You two are very lucky. You know why? Because your Papa is the best person I have ever met. Jab tum log bahar aaoge na tab tumhe pata chalega ke how lucky you are and how lucky your Mumma is"

Muaahhh...I blew kisses at them and then wipes the tears of joy that had formed in my eyes.

Hmmm...So now back to reading...
