^^^ Hey I dont agree with u that all shows are regressive.
If u r in India catch a show called "Stories by Rabindranath Tagore" on Epic Channel. It presents Strong women characters fighting against the injustice done to them or around them. These are 100 year old stories but still much more progressive than the so called Daily Soap. (unfortunately m an overseas viewer and I cannot catch it on any website or Youtube😭).

Another good show I am currently watching is "Reporters" on Sony Channel. It does not show regressive Storyline.

I am sure there are other shows which Urban Audience can watch, its just that we have to look out for. 😳

Thank you for giving your time to read about my life.😊 All the best in medical field.👍🏼 At least we can help them in real life. It is hard for me to share my dark side of life but i think this is necessary. If the show can't help in spreading the right message, we our ownself must do.

To be honest, i cried everyday i went home thinking why did god did this to me? may be i make a lot of mistake in my past life? the first phase in my life when i heard about infertility is denial, i cried and blaming my self. i was young back then, thus my family decide for us to move to a better place, i tried reciprocate with the condition & i survive. the faith in me said, do medicine & help others, u may not know that being a doctor is actually story of your life that god had made for you. That's where my journey started as doctor. Everyone devour a happy marriage life, but that thing is not for me, i tried & i chose to end the dream not because i lost my confidence but i stick to my oath, do no harm and be beneficial. if the man i marry wouldn't be happy with me i would rather be a single soul.😊 it hurts but it hurts more to see the damage u did to other innocent person if u r too selfish. letting go is the best for me😊

As for my career, i devoted my life for it, i pampered it as my life partner cause i know the only way i can bring back my happiness to myself, family & women who deserved it is to save lives & open the door for them. i may try thousand options just to help them. sometimes i felt defeated, frustrated & disappointed , but those thing drive you to try harder. medicine is my passion & hoping somebody outhere have the same passion as me😉

Back to the show, everything became haywire, it looks like Cvs out of control to handle the issue thus going the way like right now...🤢 As far as i know, in hollywood medical series, to make it into real, they study the course & try to put themselves as a real doctr, that is where we gain the perfection in tv series. in YHM it is vice versa, little medical knowledge being shown, story following CVS medical idea & even simple medical term being missused. Ethics & Medical jurispudence already being sidelined long long way back.😭 They did not know actually they hurt so many soul outthere(already mentioned thousand times) and eventually disrespect us as medical professional.

If the thing keep continue like this, i don't know how to help remove the stigma being infertile from society. I think its time for me to stop watching the show because i was attracted to the infertility concept long time back when they promoted it and of course our ISHRA😉 So now i guess i can take a break & since i got the offer to pursue studying, this is the best time to detatch my self from the show.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who kind enough to read my long post, all the best for you guys😊🤗 If it is not for the show, i cherish the moment i make friend here 😊

I'm going all cheesy right now (*sorry!*), but you are truly inspiring. I agree with every single word and hope that you can stay away from this cruel show. They don't deserve viewers like you because they haven't earned any trust or respect.

It's not about the characters but it's about respect of something that genuinely pierces a person's core. I truly wonder if any of the people involved with this show realize or understand the depth and complexity of infertility in real life, because I cannot believe anyone who has seen, experienced, or heard such a story would show this type of crap.

Again - I am so happy you found medicine because you can give so much to society even though things seem dark personally. Our careers do become our solace when life is difficult, especially medicine because we can truly lose ourselves in the service of others or at least that has been the case for me personally. It's one of the reasons I love this profession & hate to see it maligned.

Aani, Good post.
I have read stories about atrocities on Women like Husbands treating their wives as a domestic servant n remarrying other women for Children in front of their eyes. The wives cant beget children and are treated as servants to cook and all the household chores while they see the other woman enjoying the rights of being the Lady of the house. Women are constantly ostracized for their plight n are made to feel inferior just cause they cant give children. Its horrible even to think of that such an India Exists. So do we need a fictional show portraying such regressive stuff in the name of Drama? 😕

Although Raman is not in the league of those Cunning creatures but his Character has been heavily compromised for Drama. I fail to understand how can he go about thinking this as not cheating and expecting that Ishita might be happy in the end. If I put myself in shoes of Ishita, I wud be extremely angry on my husband for doing something like this behind my back. Heck If Raman was himself placed in Ishita's place wud he be happy that Ishita went behind his back and got a child for him even if she adopted that child without Rama's consent? 😕

Call me negative or whatever, the way CVs are going about it and given their history I think this is not going to end on a Positive Note. They might show Ishita Raman re uniting after all the drama but in the process both the characters will be badly compromised. To justify Raman's wrong actions they might actually get Ishita agreeing to Surrogacy. I have zero hopes about the show coz I have seen a few other shows from the PH in the past. Also this very show in the past had shown Ishita taking care of Shagun (for Adi or whatever reasons) when it was absolutely not necessary. N Let me assume that maybe this time they might actually not show that regressive but then is Raman's redemption going to be worth watching? Isn't he a character reduced to committing mistakes in this relationship with Ishita character always forgiving his mistakes?

Shows are purely for entertainment. If u get some message then fine ;its more about twists. One imp message we get through yhis show a women isnt less then anyone becoz she cant conceive.Ishita has proved that point.U should ever humiliate her.

Awesome post!!👏👏 SP and Ekta both are useless dogs!🤢( pardon me for my language) I know what issuses are faced when a woman can't conceive. My own mother wen through alot of trauma. And right from her conceiving me to my birth after 14 years of my parents' marriage everything was a struggle for her.I pity the channel and BT for using such cheap tricks to gain TRPs.They just butchered the show and their image forever.I maintain: SP IS A SHITTY CHANNEL.

I have reached a point where I am actually laughing at the ridiculousness that they are showing. 🤣 I am assuming they think we fans are super dumb to continue watching this shit.👎🏼 Honestly this show has gone beyond my comprehension. 🤔 They have made a sadistic joke on the heart and soul of the show - infertility and second marriage - well done CVs, way to go! 👏.
I haven't watched it for almost a week now and would continue doing the same. I have no feelings towards this show. Its just not worth it! 😃

Seriously Aani, relax, just take this serial out of your system and be gone with it. It would do you good, because the creators just don't deserve any kind of out pour of emotions from true fans anymore.

Agree to every point of yours Aani...
CVs have made a mockery of all infertility treatments.

They have messed up and handled it in the most insensitive manner!

Thank you for the "Stories b y Rabindranath Tagore", I am an overseas viewer and I get only a few channels, which I subscribed to because I happened to catch this show one time on you tube. But most of them I found to be saas bahu type stories where the FL sacrifices or is strong at one point bu then nothing. I have not watched Reporters, I will check it out. Maybe I should change my subscription to see what other channels are available and take out Star Plus.😊
