Butting in, but according to the internet (bollymeaning.com)...

"Raula Pai Gaya or raula pe gaya is a Punjabi phrase which means there is a huge noise. Raula means noise, shor in Hindi while pai gaya simply means kinda 'is spread out.' Hence Raula pai gaya is something like 'there is noise out there.'"

😃

There was probably so much raula pai gaya-ing on Friday & Saturday! 😉

@Aani - I was thinking about the use of the word 'premika' but my thoughts hadn't shaped up yet when I read your post. You ALWAYS manage to bring in a fresh perspective 👏 Come to think of it, it is actually true. The couple never got any intimacy because they were too busy being everything other than being husband & wife, and that is because of the very unusual circumstances they got together in. Thereafter, the family slipped into a routine, a habit of sorts, where Raman & Ishita were de-facto the most responsible and sorted members of the family. They were Son-DIL, Daughter-SIL, Sister-BIL, Brother-SIL, Parents, but never, never, husband and wife. And so everyone took their private time for granted. It also has to do with the fact that in the beginning of their relationship, their dynamics were such that they did not need alone time with each other at all. That added to everyone around them slipping into that routine. Now with the announcement of their being physically together, every one has been sent this message to not enter the closed doors of their bedroom (read personal time) without knocking.
As always, brilliantly worded Aani! 👏 👏 👏

@Krishy - Congratulations on dazzling the YHM forum 😃 🥳

Hi G,

Why did Ishita seek out Shagun to tell her that they have in actual fact done the deed. She should have waited and then told her if and when she bumped into her. In my view it was the euphoria of what happened that made her seek Shagun out. What had happened was fresh n new. And she had to strike the iron when it was hot. The impact of her telling Shagun if and when she were to bump into her would not have been the same. Shagun has been this woman who has been hitting at her vulnerabilities time and again. This is the woman who has been rubbing into her all the time that not only is she a behenji but also a baanj ! If we see, from the time Ishita met Shagun, even before she married Raman, Shagun has kind of looked down upon her. So for Ishita, it was very important to declare to Shagun, that not only do Shagun's children think of her as their mother, but her ex-husband is her man and lover. I find it completely human and it would be such a huge salve to Ishita's wounds ! Is that action of her's giving her importance ? No, in my view it is a gauntlet that has been thrown by Ishita to Shagun. I have achieved a position in this man's life that u thought I would never be able to. Here I am, I have got it, it is mine !

Don't we do it ? Don't we like to run it into people we dislike our happiness and achievements ? Especially when they were skeptical of us every getting it ?

Shagun and Ashok will always always affect Ishita and Raman. However much they want to let go, these two have given Ishita and Raman tremendous wounds. They have healed but the scars are still there. Ashok and Shagun due to their treachery metamorphed the sweet, nerdy guy into this suave, debonair business man. And every time that Raman will see Ashok the old hurts will be dredged up. And it is not like Ashok and Shagun are trying to mend bridges with them are they ? They are still trying to hurt them. Viz, Ashok's act with Ishita.

I am still skeptical of St. Shaguniya. At the right time, her claws are going to come out ! So yes, the people who have given you the biggest wounds will always always have the power to get a reaction out of you.

I don't know whether I made sense ! It's the middle of the night and I am suffering from a terrible case of insomnia ! And her I am babbling away on IF.

PS : congratulations Krishyben, you a dazzler now !

Thanks, Becky! 😳

I totally agree with you about Ishita. Idk for me it was all about Ishita & not so much out of character but instead it was growth. Ishita has been taunted, mocked, humiliated, & put down for this perceived "lack of womanliness." She never spoke up before - why? Out of lack of confidence? Lack of supportive proof? Finally her husband unknowingly gave her a confidence boost when they finally took the plunge into having a physical relationship.

So to me, yes, it was petty for her to go to Shagun, but Ishita is a woman scorned, no? Is it the right thing to do for her to go to Shagun? Probably not, but again, to me it didn't seem like an unnatural reaction. We complain bc Ishita is so docile & sati savitri type, but the Ishita we saw today wasn't that. She was a woman, a woman wholey in love & tired of her husband's rude ex.

She doesn't know Shagun is changed so she doesn't realize the type of importance she inadvertently allowed Shagun to feel.

Her physical relationship with Raman has been a public tamasha for a while as pointed out by Aani, but now she bridged the gaps with her husband - not out of pity or a drunken night. She & her husband Ina fury of emotion that was laced with love spent a night consummating their long-standing & love-filled relationship. People have implied to her in her past that due to her infertility, she cannot be the object of a man's desire out of love, but she & Raman have proved society wrong. They moved on out of love. Raman managed to reaffirmed her sense of womanhood because deep down even the strongest of people need external reassurance.

I am choosing to take the scene as Ishita growing confidence & even a tiny tiny bit of a desire for retaliation & not about giving Shagun undue importance (bc I think it's annoying for her to be proud of herself for "bringing them together")

Idk if any of this made sense, & congrats if you read it! 😳

Edited: Just realized what I wanted to say was already stated enough times by everyone else how they wanted the confrontation to be accidental so wont repeat my self!😳

Just wanted to say, I enjoyed the perspective of the following people.

👏 It shone a different light the episode. Thanks.
