I've waited and waited for the intensity, and it comes now. But I am not complaining because the way the creatives have shown it, isn't so badly timed after all.
Ishita is being spoken to about trying for a child. And the pair haven't yet moved ahead to that. At such a time when so many insecurities regarding herself might be cropping in her mind. Such words from the ex wife are bound to jolt her.
Raman is going through a huge low. A decision taken for his family, for his wife has gone against him. His family is fighting over a monetary issue, over power. Something the family never did. He sees a change. He sees change in a woman who he thought was loyal, was in a relation full of love. Mr and Mrs Tandon as shown on the show were some sort of perfect couple fond of others who had the same love. And he sees one of them changing. Ashok who turned his life upside down touches a raw nerves with his words
Basically the lack of physical intimacy gets to a couple no matter how complete they feel in a relation. Because at the end of the day marriages break over affairs involving physical relations. When one thinks that the other in the marriage might not be content with me and has all reasons to walk out. Hence both here are getting territorial and possessive. They haven't yet taken a few final steps in their relation. This is leading to a huge emotional meltdown and physical closeness.
And for a pair like Raman and Ishita who have gone through infidelity, abandonment, and so much pain thereafter. A normal, loving, sweet consummation wouldn't be the perfect completion of their relation.
