TV industry is all about reel and real life relationships. It's funny how celebrities are great friends in real-life but are logger heads on-screen. Friendship's day being round the corner, let's have a look at the TV celebrities who are enemies on-screen but buddies off-screen.

Anita Hassanandani and Divyanka Tripathi: Anita and Divyanka are seen as on-screen enemies in Ye Hai Mohabbatein'. Anita plays the character of Shagun who is Karan Patel's ex-wife and Divyanka plays Ishita who is Karan's current wife. The two actresses cannot see each other on-screen and are arch enemies but the scenario is completely different off-screen. Behind the screen, the two are good friends and enjoy each other's company. The two actresses are often seen clicking selfies while taking a break from the shoot and share the food as well.

Karan Patel and Sangram Singh: Sangram (Ashok) plays the role of Karan (Raman's) boss who has an affair with Raman's wife Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) and is also a business rival in the popular TV show Ye Hai Mohabbatein'. They hate each other to an extent of killing each other on-screen but the same doesn't apply off-screen. Karan and Sangram are pals off-screen and share a great rapport with each other. They are good friends and are spotted hanging out together on a lot of occasions.

TOI:TV's unlikely friends and unlikely foes
The dostis in the TV industry work in strange ways. While co-stars who confess their everlasting love to each other onscreen barely acknowledge each other off-screen, actors who may be baying for each other's blood on the show have private jokes and loads of selfies together in real life.

On the occasion of Friendship Day, we bring you a list of people who prove that things are indeed quite different between the reel and real friendships.
The real life BFFs who fight onscreen!

Sangram Singh and Karan Patel (Ye Hai Mohabbatein):

Onscreen, Karan and Sangram don't leave any stone unturned to have a go at each other. But when the camera is off, the two are close buddies and share several pictures of their bromance. Sangram says, "My character Ashok on 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein' is someone who will leave no stone unturned in making Raman (played by Karan) feel miserable. But all that is onscreen. Karan Patel is my brother and my best friend for life. Even though it's all natural onscreen, off-screen we're always laughing and having a blast. I always only wish the best for him." Karan adds, "Sangram is my best friend for life. We may not get along onscreen and Raman cannot stand Ashok, but in reality, I don't know what I'd do without him. He's an amazing person and one of my closest friends on the sets. It's fun to shoot because he's around and we're always up to something or the other."
