Thanks for the amazing response. Going by the advice of DivAnIsh aka Pankhuri I hv replied to every cmnt on Part 1.

PS: Missing Roshnee's review, Richajin's spirits & MysticRiver's short & sweet comments. I hope to see u guys in the cmnt section of Part 2.

Now this part goes to Nehu, Hersheys, Sukku, Arohi & all members of the so called JIJU FAN CLUB

Firstly because the title of this chapter goes by Hubby dearest's favourite song. (Whenever the song plays unka chehra dekhne layaq hotha hai)

Secondly because the JIJU ke Deewanis keep pestering me with questions like JIJU kaise hain, JIJU ke baare me kuch batao, JIJU se kabhi milao etc etc. So in this part I am going to answer all ur questions as the charcter sketch u will go through in this chap is totally ur Jiju.

PS: @JIJU FAN CLUB: Khush? U better give lengthy cmnts on dis part warna tum logon ki Fan Club Membership rad kar di jayegi 😉

Here goes Part 2...

Part 2: Tum Hi Ho

A smile instantly lits up my face at the sight in front of me.

My hand reaches out to his ruffled hair combs it neatly making a partition to the left.

'Cute' I say pulling his cheeks gently.

I stifle a laugh imagining his reaction when he finds out I did that to him. He would ruffle his hair & frown saying "Don't call me cute"

I would laugh & say "Awww...You look cutest when you do that" and he would pull me roughly, cage my hands behind my back and warn "Will you call me cute again?"

"Leave me" I would beg trying to get out of his hold.

"Say you won't call me cute" he would say twisting my hands.

"Ok I won't I won't" I would say giving up.

"Better" he would say letting me go.

I would walk a few steps away from him, turn back with a mischievous glint, "You look CUUUTE" I would yell & flee out of the place.

"Ishitaaa I will kill you" he would scream annoyed.

"I have already written a note & forwarded it to everyone who cares for me that if you find me dead in mysterious condition, then please handover my Habeebi to the police" I would yell from the kitchen.
(Habeebi in local language means Beloved. My hubby is popular as Habeebi among friends. The ringtone assigned to his call on my phone is a song called Habeebi)

I place a soft peck on his cheek and try to get out of his hold. He tightens the grip around me in response and I fall back into his embrace unwilling to let go of the protective hold.

Chilly winter & husband's warm embrace...Who would want to let it go?
I glance at the clock 6:40 it says. I happily snuggle closer & doze off.
Tu mujhe chod jaaye
Ye nahi ho sakta Saathiya

My alarm beeps & I fish for my phone with sleepy eyes. 6:50 am it says.
I turn it off and struggle to get out of his hold.
After a few attempts I succeed.

I tie my hair into a lose bun, turn on the WiFi on my phone letting the WhatsApp messages to flow in, place it on the dresser & march to the washroom.

Freshened up I come back, glance at the clock 6:58.
'Hmmm...2 more mins to go' I say softly looking at him.

He looks so adorable that I can't help capture a shot and upload it as my new WhatsApp DP.
"His love is a gift that I open everyday" I write in my status.

I leave the phone on th dresser and lean towards him, gently tap his shoulder & say "Jaana. Uthiye. 7 baj gaye"

"7:15" he mumbles, turns to the other side & goes back to sleep.

"OK" I say & proceed to the kitchen with my phone.

I start boiling water for his tea. Why so early when he isn't awake, you may wonder! Well let me tell you, hamare Habeebi thandi chayi peete hain. 😆

When I take out the dough & start peeling off the boiled potatoes, my phone beeps.

WhatsApp notifies me of a text from my friend Mihika.
"Hogayi teri subah? Sudhar ja yaar. Kabhi to koi DP ya status apne frnds keliye daala kar" she writes with an angry emoticon.

I chuckle "Lagta hai kuch jal raha hai" I reply with a wink emoji.

"Tere kitchen me kuch jal raha hoga" she says with an annoyed face.

"Very funny" I say with a sarcastic smile.

"Waise kya ban raha hai nashte me? Mai ajaun?"

"Habeebi ke fvr8 Aloo ke parathe. U r welcome" I say with a huge smile.

"Obviously...Habeebi ke fvr8 hi to banenge. FYI I m nt intrstd. Mujhe nahi khana tere Habeebi ke parathe" she says irritated.

"Parathe Habeebi ke nahi Aloo ke hain" I say sticking the tongue out.

"Whatever!" She says miffed.

7:15 am Alarm beeps.

"Hey wait. I vl b back. Habeebi ko uthana hai" I write in a hurry.

"Habeebi Abhi Bhi Tabhi Bhi Kabhi Bhi. Jaa Jaa" she teases.
(My frnd had phrased it dis way when she heard me talking of Habeebi almost all the time 😆 )
Meri baaton me tera zikr sadaa
Meri yaad me teri fikr sadaa

Walking back to the bedroom, I could not help but wonder how my entire life revolves around him now.
Mai jo bhi hoon tum hi to ho

"Jaanaaa...It's 7:15. Uthiye" I say shaking him and switching off the AC.

"7:30" he says throwing away the duvet.

"Aap nahi sudhroge" I say listening him snore.

I get back to fixing his breakfast. It's 7:30 by the time I place his tea & Aloo ke parathe drenched in olive oil.
Yes Olive Oil Not Makhhan (Butter) because my husband thinks any food dresses with olive oil is healthy.
I admit olive oil is healthy but for him even an unhealthy or junk food becomes healthy just by sprinkling floz of olive oil on top.
Its like saying "The easiest way to eat healthy is to write HEALTHY on everything that you eat"
Rolling eyes! He and his antics!

"Jaana 7:30. Wake up" I say a little irritated this time shaking him vigorously.

"7:45" he says & is about to get back to sleep turning to the other side, when I pull him back to his previous position and yell "What am I? An alarm clock? Which snoozes after every 15 minutes? I said wake up"

He looks startled. Then composes himself "Please" he begs with a puppy face.

My heart goes out for him but I mask it behind my anger "Jo karna hai karo I am not going to wake you up again" I warn & pull away the curtains letting the sunrays hit him expecting him to wake up.

He covers his head with the pillow & says "5 mins"

"I don't know. Ab nahi uthe to I am not going to iron your clothes" I say with hands on my hips.

"Nahi" he says waking up in a jerk.

I applaud mentally for myself. I knew this would work.

"Please Jaan tum achhi ho na" he tries to butter me.

"Nahi mai achhi nahi hun" I give back.

"Tum itni khadoos kaise hogayi? Pehle to aisi nahi thi" he laments.

"Aapne banaya hai mujhe aisa. Aap apni harkaton se baaz nahi ate isiliye mujhe khadoos banna pada"
Mujhe tumse mili apni ada

"Ab jaldi se utho" I say turning back.

A pair of arms sneak across my waist from back bringing me to a force stop. He places his chin on my right shoulder and kisses my cheek calming me down "Keep calm & say I love you" he says with a smile.

I calm down and say "I hate you"

"Me too" he says chuckling.

I pinch his hand that is holding my waist and say "Aap bahut bure ho"

"Aaj patha chala?" He asks his favourite question.

"Patha to usi din chal gaya jis din aap mujhe dekhne keliye aye the" I say with mock anger.

"Phir mujhse shadi kyun ki?" He asks anxiously.

"Kyunki..." I drag.

"Kyunki?" He asks growing impatient.

"Kyunki tum hi ho
Ab tum hi ho
Zindagi ab tum hi ho"
I sing his favourite lines.

He smiles turning me to face him "I love you" he says.

A feeling of content runs through my nerves and I say "Love you a lot"
Chain bhi

He leans in and I close my eyes to taste the sweet torture but it turns out to be a painful torture as he decides to bite my cheeks instead.
"Ouch" I scream holding my cheek.
Mera dard bhi

And before I could react he locks himself in the washroom.
"I hate you" I yell banging the door.

"But I love you" he screams without opening the door afraid I might pounce on him & suck his blood out.

He troubles me, he annoys me, he irritates me yet I love him because NOW he means everything to me, my love, my life.
Meri Ashiqui ab tum hi ho

"I do not look forward to Valentine's day or our marriage anniversary because I celebrate being married to you everyday of my life"
(I had written these lines for my Habeebi)
I typed & sent it to him on WhatsApp.

Very interesting. Though I am confused as how can Ishu gel so well with Angad when she is in love with Raman? And where is Raman and why are Angad and Ishu married? Angad looks like a positive, sweet guy. I hope he remains same ahead.
