Raman are you going back to office now, she asked while cleaning the dining table.
No Ishita...i am done for the day, he replied passing her a bowl.
Oh great...mujhe laga shayad aap lunch karke wapis jaayen, she happily told him.
(Oh great...i thought maybe you will go back after lunch, she happily told him.)
No no...I am home...do you need any help, he asked her.
No Raman...i just want to sleep for some time...you won't mind right...I mean I am just too tired, she spoke.
Ofcourse not...i am sure you are tired because of the cooking...i told you but who cares to listen to me...anyways you sleep I will clean the rest, he said shifting her aside to clear the remaining table.
Nahi pehle safai kar deti hoon phir so jaungi, she tried to speak only to be cut in mid by him and pushed to bed.
(No first I will clean and then sleep, she tried to speak only to be cut in mid by him and pushed to bed.)
Leto yahan and just sleep, he ordered her while pulling the duvet on her.
(Lie down here and just sleep, he ordered her while pulling the duvet on her.)
Aur aap, she asked.
(And you, she asked.)
I will just clear things and be right back, he told her before leaving.
She yawned lazily after smiling and gave herself to a peaceful sleep.

Kitna acha hota agar woh diary ghar le aata...Ishita toh so gayi hai...abhi padh sakta tha...kal waise bhi off hai...ab toh Monday ko hi padh paunga...but no...it is actually good ki main ghar nahi laaya...agar galti se bhi Ishita ke haath lag jaati toh main kabhi na padh paata aur itna sab jaan pata, he thought to himself while cleaning the kitchen.
(How well it would have been if I got that diary home...Ishita is sleeping...I could have read now...it is anyways off tomorrow...i will be able to read on Monday only...but no...it is actually good that I didn't get it home...if by any chance Ishita got a hold of it I would have never been able to read it and know all this, he thought to himself while cleaning the kitchen.)
He after completing all the work went to the room and found her sleeping calmly.
His lips curved into a smile immediately as his eyes saw her adorning a cute smile even when in sleep. And the smile soon turned into a chuckle when he saw how she had kicked away the duvet no less than like a baby. And the chuckle continued until his eyes traveled to her saree which was evidently disheveled giving him a sight that would easily break his resistance.
Not again, he uttered before closing his eyes and blowing some air out of his mouth.
He then without looking at her made his way to the hall outside.
Switching on the TV, he sat on the sofa and rested his legs on the coffee table ahead.
He had plans to watch a movie but his eyes could not forget the movie he had seen inside his bedroom just now. It was no more than a glimpse but enough to play with his control.
Realizing that his mind was again going back the track he didn't want to walk, he finally settled the remote on some music channel.
But who wanted to hear the music. All he wanted to do was just to think about her and her.
Samajh nahi aata Ishita ki kya sach hai...jo aaj ho raha hai woh ya phir jo ho chuka hai woh...jo tum aaj lagti ho woh meri Ishita hai jisse maine pyaar kiya tha par jo tum thi usko kaise bhul jaun...kya pata jab tumhe sab yaad aa jaaye toh tum phir waisi hi ho jao...kyun thi tum waisi...aisa kya ho gaya tha
(I cannot understand what is the truth Ishita...the one that is happening today or the one that has happened...the one you are today is my Ishita whom I had fallen in love but how do I forget what you were...who knows you turn back to what you were once you gain your memory back...why were you like that...what had happened that you changed so much)

The night before engagement-
It was the night before their engagement. Tomorrow was the big day when they were finally making their relation official. It was supposed to be a huge function as not just the two of them but the two businesses were also getting engaged.
It was a function to celebrate their togetherness and of merging of their father's businesses.
She had teased him the whole day not showing him a single photo of her mehandi. He who was more than restless to see her hands colored in his love had requested her so much but she was surely not the easy giver.
And finally in the evening he had told her to not message him until she sent him a photo. Unluckily just then the relatives had started to pour in and she just didn't get the chance to talk to him.
He thought she wasn't even bothered about his anger and taking it all too lightly. Whereas she thought he wasn't even serious about the anger and didn't message because he too would have guests to attend just like her.
The whole evening was passed with a blur unknown to the misconceptions they had for each other.
Hello, he read a message from her late at night which he chose to ignore as the message didn't have a photo along.
She saw the two blue ticks on the message but not a reply.
Koi aa gaya hoga, she thought and gave herself to much needed sleep.
(Someone might have come, she thought and gave herself to much needed sleep.)
Ek hello bhejke gayab...hello bhi kyun bheja...na hi karti message, he sulked before sleeping.
(She sent one hello and vanished...why to even send a hello...it was better if she didn't send any message at all, he sulked before sleeping.)
And that's how they ended up ruining a night that was supposed to be special.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kya ek message ka reply na karne ki itni badi saza di thi tumne mujhe...main nahi maanta Ishita...i know you are a matured person phir aisa kya ho gaya tha ki tumhe aisa karna pada, he held his head in pain unable to think what went wrong.
(Did you punish me for not replying to one your messages...I cannot believe Ishita...I know you are a matured person then what had happened that you had to do this, he held his head in pain unable to think what went wrong.)
The Engagement Day
The next morning everybody was running here and there. Not for the engagement preparations but to look their bests.
After all it was the much talked engagement cum business merger party of the town.
Gathered in a plush hotel to celebrate, each guest had something to say about the lavish and too perfect arrangement done.
Toshi Ji and Amma were occupied in attending the guests while Bhalla Ji and Appa were busy flaunting their business status which had increased by double today.
Everyone was engrossed and happily enjoying the grand party but his heart was not at peace.
His eyes wanted to get a glance of her, his ears wanted to hear her chirpy voice and his words wanted to praise her.
But where was she...!!!
Aiyo Vishwa Ishu abhi tak nahi aayi hai, Amma told Appa silently dragging him aside from the crowd.
(Listen Vishwa Ishu has not come yet, Amma told Appa silently dragging him aside from the crowd.)
What do you mean nahi aayi hai...tum use saath nahi laayi, Appa asked surprised.
(What do you mean by she hasn't come yet...you didn't bring her along, Appa asked surprised.)
Nahi Vishwa...woh jo ghar pe beautician bulayi thi us se aapki laadli ka jhagda ho gaya...toh bas woh aur Mihika salon chale gaye taiyaar hone, Amma told Appa.
(No Vishwa...your cranky daughter fought with the beautician who had come home...then she and Mihika left for a salon to get ready, Amma told Appa.)
Toh tum kyun nahi gayi...bachiyon ko saath laana tha na...kahan rehta hai tumhara dimaag Madhu, Appa lashed out.
(Then why didn't you go along...you should have brought both of them with you...does your mind not work at all Madhu, Appa lashed out.)
Main saath jaati toh yahan koun sab sambhalta...Ishu ne kaha tha ki woh jaldi aa jaegi aur waise bhi teen ghante pehle gayi thi, Amma tried to defend herself.
(If I had gone along then who would have handled here...Ishu said she will come soon and anyways she went 3 hours back, Amma tried to defend herself.)
Main call karta hoon use, Appa dialed her number.
(I will call her, Appa dialed her number.)
Maine kiya kai baar...phone nahi utha rahi hai, Amma told scared.
(I tried many times...she is not taking the calls, Amma told scared.)
Phone nahi utha rahi hai...batao mujhe kounse salon gayi hai main jaake dekhta hoon, Appa found a solution.
(Not taking the calls...tell me the salon name...i will go and check, Appa found a solution.)
Salon ka naam mujhe nahi pata, Amma answered reluctantly.
(I don't know salon's name, Amma answered reluctantly.)
Apni beti ka naam pata hai, Appa said grinning his teeth.
(Do you know your daughter's name, Appa said grinning his teeth.)
Woh, Amma tried to speak but went silent seeing Toshi Ji come there.
(Actually, Amma tried to speak but went silent seeing Toshi Ji come there.)
Arre Samdhan Ji aap yahan kya baatein kar rahe ho samdhi ji ke saath akele akele, Toshi Ji teased her newly found friend.
(Why are you here and talking with your husband secretly, Toshi Ji teased her newly found friend.)
Nahi nahi bas aise hi, Amma tried to make an excuse.
(No...nothing important, Amma tried to make an excuse.)
Ab bata bhi dijiye humari bahu ko kahan chupake rakha hai aapne...ab nahi ruka jaata...main bhi toh dekhun meri bahu kaisi dikh rahi hai, Toshi Ji said impatiently.
(Atleast tell me now where have you hidden my daughter in law...i cannot wait anymore...i want to see how my daughter in law looks, Toshi Ji said impatiently.)
Aap chaliye na bas aa hi rahi hai woh, Amma tried to take Toshi Ji away.
(You please carry on...she is coming, Amma tried to take Toshi Ji away.)
Par woh hai kahaan, Toshi Ji tried to ask but stopped in half on listening to a song.
(But where is she, Toshi Ji tried to ask but stopped in half on listening to a song.)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hearing the song, all gathered their attention to a troupe dancing beautifully.
Kahaan ho yaar tum Ishita...kab aaogi, he worriedly thought.
(Where are you Ishita...when will you come, he worriedly thought.)
Kab Aaoge Kab Aaoge
(When will you come)
Jism Se Jaan Juda Hogi
Kya Tab Aaoge
(Will you come when my soul leaves my body)
Hey bhagwan meri Ishu ko jaldi bhej do...kahin bahut der na ho jaaye...main kya samjhaungi inko, Amma sent a silent prayer to god.
(Oh God please send my Ishu soon...before it gets very late...how will I explain him, Amma sent a silent prayer to god.)
Der Na Ho Jaaye Kahin
Der Na Ho Jaaye
(What if gets too delayed)
Ishu beta kahan ho tum...please jaldi aa jao...mujhe badi chinta ho rahi hai tumhari...na tumhara phone lag raha hai na tumhare baare mein kuch pata hai, Appa worriedly dialed his daughter's number yet again.
(Ishu dear where are you...please come fast...i am really getting tensed for you...neither is your phone connecting nor I know anything about you, Appa worriedly dialed his daughter's number yet again.)
Aaja Re Ki Mera Mann Ghabraye
(Please come as my heart is restless)
Der Na Ho Jaaye Kahin
Der Na Ho Jaaye
(What if gets too delayed)
Kya yaar Raman aise akele hi khade rahoge...apni fiance se nahi milwaoge, his friend Mihir questioned him.
(Raman will you keep on standing like this alone...will you not introduce us to your fiance, his friend Mihir questioned him.)
Zarur milwaunga yaar...yahin kahin hogi...bas aati hi hogi, he tried to act normal.
(Will surely introduce...she must be here only somewhere around, he tried to act normal.)
Kahan Hain Raunak - e - Mehfil
Yahi Sab Puchte Hain
(Everyone asks me where the star of the gathering is)
Par Bhabhi ji hain kahan Raman, another friend Bala asked.
(But where is sister in law Raman, another friend Bala asked.)
Tere Na Aane Ka Sab Ab Puchte Hain
(Everyone asks me what is taking you this long)
Der Na Ho Jaaye Kahin
Der Na Ho Jaaye
(What if it gets too delayed)
Iyyer Saab aakhir Ishita hai kahan, finally Bhalla Ji asked Appa when Toshi Ji told him about something being fishy.
(Mr. Iyyer where is Ishita, finally Bhalla Ji asked Appa when Toshi Ji told him about something being fishy.)
Bhalla Ji woh asal mein baat yeh hai ki Ishita salon tak gayi thi...traffic mein fas gayi hai par bas aati hi hogi...aap tension mat lijiye...meri baat ho gayi hai bas raaste mein hi hai, Appa tried to convince Bhalla Ji.
(Mr. Bhalla actually the thing is that Ishita had gone to salon...she is stuck in traffic but must be coming...you don't worry...i have talked to her and she is on the way, Appa tried to convince Bhalla Ji.)
But till when the excuses would work. It was actually too late and it was high time she was supposed to come and end everyone's concern.
Samdhan Ji ab toh badi hi der ho gayi hai...sab mehmaan bhi aa chuke hain...kahan hai Ishita...dekhiye agar koi chinta wali baat hai toh aap humen bataiye...hum milke sochenge, Toshi Ji tried to reason with Amma.
(It is actually very late...all the guests are here...where is Ishita...if there is something bothering then tell us...we will find a solution together, Toshi Ji tried to reason with Amma.)
Woh Toshi Ji, Amma tried to justify herself but thankfully Toshi Ji left from there happily on hearing her son sing.
(Actually Toshi Ji, tried to justify herself but thankfully Toshi Ji left from there happily on hearing her son sing.)
He now was the center of attraction holding the mike in his hand and in a way singing his heart to the public.
He recalled how he had lost his heart to her just at the first sight.
Dil Diya Aitbaar Ki Hadd Thi
(I gave you my heart which was the limit of my trust)
He remembered how he had made her his life that day on their date.
Jaan Di Tere Pyaar Ki Hadd Thi
(I gave you my life which was the limit of my love for you)
He thought how she had kept everyone waiting for her today when it was all about her.
Mar Gaye Hum Khuli Rahi Aankhen
Yeh Tere Intezaar Ki Hadd Thi
(I died but my eyes remained wide open...this was the height of me waiting for you)
Aa jao yaar Ishita...ab toh hadd ho gayi hai...aur kitna tadpaogi, he voiced his thoughts in the form of a song.
(Please come Ishita...it is the limit now...how much more will you torture me, he voiced his thoughts in the form of a song.)
Hadd Ho Chuki Hai Aaja
Jaan Par Bani Hai Aaja
(All the limits have been crossed now and my life it at risk so please come)
Yeh sab log aaj humare liye yahan aaye hain aur tum hi nahi ho, he continued.
(All these people have gathered here for us but you only are not here, he continued.)
Mehfil Saji Hai Aaja
Teri Kami Hai Aaja
(The grand function is for you and it is just you who is missing so please come)
Aa jao is se pehle ki bahut jyada der ho jaaye, he almost cried.
(Come before it is too late, he almost cried.)
Der Na Ho Jaaye Kahin
Der Na Ho Jaaye
(What if it gets too delayed)
He heard everyone clapping for him on being dragged by the dance troupe in the middle.
When all of them wanted him to dance, all he wanted was to be at the entrance and wait for her.
Aaja Ve Maahi Tera Raasta Ho Dekh Diya
Aaja Ve Maahi Tera Raasta Ho Dekh Diya
(Come beloved as to I am only looking for you)
His eyes glued at the entrance, he swayed a little with the ongoing rhythm while his heart only yearned for her.
Darr Se Hatti Nahin Nazar Aaja
Aaja Dil Ki Pukaar Par Aaja
(I cannot stop looking at the door so please listen to my heart's plead and come)
He recalled how she was always late whenever they met but atleast she used to come.
Der Karna Teri Aadat Si Sahi
Der Se hi Magar Aaja
(I understand that it is your habit to come late but come now atleast when it is already late)
Aa jao Ishita kahin sach mein der hi na ho jaaye, he essentially begged.
(Come Ishita before it actually gets too late, he essentially begged.)
Aaja Ve Maahi Tera Raasta Ho Dekh Diya
(Come beloved as to I am only looking for you)
Der Na Ho Jaaye Kahin
Der Na Ho Jaaye
(What if it gets too delayed)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Der Na Ho Jaaye Kahin
Der Na Ho Jaaye
(What if it gets too delayed)
He came out of his trance on hearing the song on TV which just started few seconds week.
Der toh sach mein ho gayi thi Ishita, he commented before switching off the TV and lied down on the sofa more comfortably.
(It was really late Ishita, he commented before switching off the TV and lied down on the sofa more comfortably.)
