And is Shagun Arora the only woman in the world who can volunteer for the job if it has to happen this way, cant there be a new character or say an existing character who volunteers to do so?

Phoebe gave birth to her brother and his wife' triplets in Friends and Sushmita Sen did it for her friend Tabu in Filhaal, cant we have say Simi or Mihika volunteer for this if its necessary why Shagun?

because it's about Shagun and Cv's mohabbatein...somehow get her to fit into the picture...Like Krishy listed there are a multiple feasible options to do that...but somehow the spoilers about Shagun is always trying to fit Shagun as the third arm of Ishita-Raman's non existing triangle relationship. and as Shagun is the Mother Teresa reincarnate why not plant the Ishra baby in her holier than thou fertile womb?

There are two types of surrogacy. In IVF method, they baby remains genetically unrelated to the surrogate. In traditional method, the surrogate can be impregnated naturally or artificially but the baby will be genetically related to her.

In either way, it will be totally disgusting in case of IshRa.

the whole concept of all the people in the world, Shagun carrying Ishra baby is pure sickening

This is the kinda news that makes you wanna throw up frankly 🤢

How can this even happen, considering the identity of the surrogate mother is known to the parents of the child, why and how in the world would Raman agree to this? Hasnt the man already had two kids with her? He wants one with Ishita and if its not possible, should it mean ...back to pavillion for him just to add another Bhalla in the fold, there isnt a lack of them in the first place if thats the case and Raman already is a father of two...why would he be so desperate for another child if Ishita cannot carry it?

He has expressed this wish to see Ishita happy as much as for his own - how can they be happy to see Shagun parade her inflated stomach carrying ANOTHER child of Raman' as she once again turns to her former self to mock Ishita that she would always be the mother of her husband' children and worse humilate Raman that he needs her eventually even if he says she is the scum of his life who curses everything that comes within her reach.

And definately not with airhead

And if Raman and ishita do it

Both of them will be pregnant

This literally is the story of Ekta's Kkusum - and after the surrogate chased away the FL. FL found out she was pregnant & a leap happened. Then the daughter raised by the surrogate hated the original mom & was a vamp like her surrogate mom.

Who knows if Ekta's moved beyond this type of soch, but I don't think SP would go for something like this...it's the opposite of their nayi soch, pro-family values image.

Oh I know - if they pull some How I Met Your Mother bull crap on us with this being Raman & Shagun's story then what an absolute insult to:
(1) men who are cheated on
(2) kids whose mother's ditch them in infancy
(3) women who are infertile but get a chance at love & family.

I was appalled with the ending of HIMYM but that was palatable because you didn't have a woman who cheated get her life back. No matter how much Shagun reforms, you cannot wash away all your past sins unfortunately. Everything of the past haunts the characters - from Raman to Romi to Ashok...so why does this not apply to Shagun?
I don't have a problem with Shagun if she has a substantial role that doesn't violate what most of us thought was the core of the story. I actually liked the original Shagun sketch because she was a woman who made a decision for herself & lived with it.

Gah Krishy dont remind me of HIMYM, seriously they cheated us for years to end with that crap. Still feel like punching someone in the face when I am reminded of that tragedy. I refuse to call it by any other name or word.

I am sure we fans would rather see they end this show even if it means they end it without showing honeymoon or consummation rather than watch this shit

Typically the workup for infertility is:

Try to get pregnant for 6-9 months in naturally ---> for Ishita - consider in vitro fertilization (for herself, not a surrogate) if she has tubal blocks (can be done a few times, expensive but he's a CEO...) --> then move onto surrogacy, etc.

But here we're talking babies but they are missing the critical first step...🤪

Like seriously...what are these people on?

Bang on. 👏
It's better to end the show rather than showing this crap.
