Hi Gan, as usual amazing collage. Truly captured puttar's anguish and biwi's tears on behalf of her husband !
I watched the episode after hearing so much about IshRa conversation, and I am so glad that I did. What happened to the sensible Rinki ? currently she is swept away in the tide of one upmanship and for what ? for an idiot of a friend who goaded her ? Ugh ! I hated the way she spoke with Mihir, who was so rationally trying to drill some sense into Rinki ! I hated the fact that she told Ishita you have gotten me married to such a spineless guy ! If I could, I would have reached out and slapped her through the television ! Rinki is turning into Shagun 2.0 !
Yesterday, I really really felt bad for Raman. As usual he is caught between the rock and the hard place. He transferred the company to his wife's name and he also gave a very very valid reason to Ishita why he transferred it to her name. Was Rinki wrong in questioning him ? Yes she was. She said that Mihir had contributed equally to the success of the company, yes he did. But it was Raman who built the company. He was the one who the investors trusted to run the company when they ousted Ashok and asked Raman to take over. Mihir was not with Raman, he was still working with Malhotra, when Raman bailed the company out of trouble. So on what basis is Rinki questioning him ? Mihir joined him later when Raman informed Ashok that he was the new owner of the company.
Mr. Bhalla does tend to misunderstand Raman. He has been right a few times, but yesterday he heard only a little bit of the conversation and he blew his gasket at IshRa. He was so unfair. Even he misunderstood Ishita at that point.
I so loved the conversation between IshRa yesterday and how Raman poured his heart out to Ishita. I wish this particular scene had been shot without the Body Double. It would have been magical if Ishita would have reached out and hugged Raman, because he needed the physical contact and comfort of consoling arms yesterday.
This seems to be a very interesting track, but know the track record of our writers, I am not waiting with a bated breath... they will sc**w it up and turn it into a high melodrama !
BTW, G, you were right ! Puttar did have a trim ! and he was looking gorgeous ! Clean shaven, neatly trimmed hair ! though I still want the earlier short haired hotwa avatar, I am ok with this one too !
As for St. Shanguniya, oh my I was sniffling away at her change of heart ! the halo blinded me and I was unable to see the lift of the eyebrow and the clenched teeth dialogue delivery !
BTW Aru, who died and handed over puttar's custody to you ?
#puttarismine too😳
#hotwa puttar back☺️
#lubputtar a lot !😳

Bang on post Gan and that quote really go with Raman's situation in yesterday's Epi .. nice collage my heart went out for puttar ❤️

Coming to Epi it was close to reality money matters do damage sometimes in families .. and it shown in yesterday's Epi .. i was surprised by Mr bhalla's behavior in yesterday's Epi when I saw the Epi first but then I understood he behaved on what he saw and heard he saw Raman was about to slap Rinky and was saing its his home if she has problem then she can go ... but he didn't knew what happened before that how Rinky was behaving with her elder brother and her bhabhi so he behaved on what he saw but still he should have atleast listen to Raman when he was trying to explain he very well know how much ishra do for family how they always put family before there ownself how much Raman do for his siblings .. so i find Mr bhalla behaved harsh with ishra especially Raman and precap as you say is OTT i don't expect such behavior from sensible person like Mr bhalla.. let's see where it goes but i am sure he will understand and MU clear between Raman and Mr bhalla..

Coming to Rinky seriously this girl has lost it she is talking ill about her elder brother not trusting him bit talking with him in high tone accusing him that he only think about ishita .. and blah blah i really want to ask her does she understands her brother a little bit Raman is the same man who put his self respect on stake and work under Ashok his rival .. so her marriage can happen in grand way as she wanted and today that brother become her enemy ! Even before this incident she thought why would Raman think about her or others as he got love his family so he is happily living his life.. during she leaved mihir's house .. what's the problem if her brother is happy she knows Raman go thru rough face in his life cause of shagun and finally if he gets some peace and happiness so shouldn't she happy for her brother ? She didn't spare even mihir she was calling him spineless and coward in front of entire family.. she really should learn some mannerisms... even if she was having problems with Raman's Decision and was upset she could have talked to Raman what was the need to make scen.. seems like her character will be butchered more in coming Epis as Ashok suraj ready to take advantage of this tiff...

I loved ishra convo it was nice to see Raman pouring his heart to ishu and how ishu was supporting him knowing how he was misunderstood by everyone.. nice to see ishra are there for each other .. oh i loved the way Raman said Biwi hai Meri music to my ears ❤️

KP was looking dashing clean shaven and DT was looking Gorgeous in that Saree she wearing her mangulsutra (Tamil one sorry don't know what its name)

Gan beautiful collage and a great write up as usual 😃 I was waiting for your topic for a while last night but then just slept off.

The episode was so intense and intriguing after a very long time and kept me on the edge. It's a very normal, realistic situation that arises in a lot of families. Where egos clash, misunderstandings occur and half heard or witnessed situations get misconstrued into a huge issue.

I felt really really bad for Raman yesterday. THAT man has given up on everything, or rather put in blood and sweat to take responsibility of the whole family, all his siblings whether monetary or otherwise. He has always been a pillar to not just his parents but also each of his siblings, almost parenting them. Him and Ishita both and especially the latter through the one year she has been married to him, has not just got the family together but also saved everyone of them from the rut they got themselves into be it Rinki, Simmi, Romi or anyone else. And have they ever mentioned it? Never. But does the man of the house not have the right to say that this is his house? Yes it's his fathers house first but does the father not know Raman doesn't mean it the wrong way.

Rinki is a fool, I don't expect better than this from her. But Mr Bhalla's reaction though in parts justified because of what he heard or saw was totally uncalled for. I agree he lost his son when he was first married because the woman in question was a snob. But does he think Raman is wrong this time in standing up for his better half when she's being maligned for something she hasn't even done? She's fought tooth and nail for the Bhalla's and very much deserves for her husband to stand by her.

I am PRO Joint family. But here I am going to mention a few things in concern to the Bhalla house that may sound anti to the idea of it. Raman built that business on his own FROM SCRATCH. It's his. But he has always put the family first, and himself later. What right does Rinki have to question Raman about giving his own share of the company to his wife? He hasn't snatched any one else's right. He just gave up his own to his spouse who is agreeably the only one apart from him capable of managing something without ruining it. Mihir is the CEO of the company. And was going to get up a set business from Raman. What more can the latter do? Spoon feed him everything? Give away what he earned himself to him without Mihir having to do any effort? The family(apart from Mr and Mrs Bhalla) has no damn right to question Raman here when they do not earn a penny to contribute in managing the family. Especially Rinki who sits on her ass and spends money all day long wasting her education which was also large heartedly sponsored by her same brother she now maligns. That man joined Ashok's company for HER, so her wedding dreams could be fulfilled and gets this? YES Raman has and will never have the right to ever boss over anyone because he manages the house. But the question of the day is - has he ever? 😕

I won't say this track is to make IshRa realize they need to think for themselves first, because they aren't made like that. BUT I DO HOPE that this track helps the Bhalla's realize the value of this couple whose given up on their everything for each one of them. Without them, by now half this family would be rotting in jail and the other half on the road, considering the situations each one of them got into through the year, when IshRa giving up on their own marriage, saved their ass.

But having said that, this is a very real track and hope the treatment given to it remains and is not ruined by comedy or is done for another purpose that takes away the real meaning of this track.

Mihir should speak to his father-in-law & tell him what his daughter has been doing lately. All that drinking, staying away from home overnight, spending time with bad company (Australian friends), jeopardizing her marriage should be concerning Bhallaji more than is son.
As for Raman's stupid dream abt his dad & family ill-treating Ishita after he dies doesn't seem so stupid now judging on how Bhallaji reacted. He & Rinki made Ishita as outsider in a space of few minutes.

@Bold...Just my POV, because saw some comments about this dream from a few members...

Yes, he saw such a dream when he was facing an inner turmoil, but only on hearing Amma narrating a similar incident in Appa's friends family...But didn't he spell out his concern in words in the following day when he made a wish during the 'Eid ka Chand' moment...He very clearly said that he would wish Ishita to stay happy n healthy throughout, so that she will be there always for the family...N that is what he elaborated n explained to Ishita yesterday...So, for me Raman's these words counts much more than his so called stupid dream...😊

I liked the epi...it was so realistic...felt puttar's pain...after all that he has done for his family it was so sad to see him being misunderstood 😭 so so glad that ishita is his strength...and they are dealing with the situation together. I loved it when puttar said biwi hai woh meri. Not the first time he is saying it but it gives me a lot of happiness hearing him say it.

What to say about the annoying Mrs Rinki Arora 😡
I think it's the Arora family rule that one person should always be a vamp and give constant headache to others. Ab one turned into a saint so I guess the khaandaan's important zimmidaari fell on rinki bahurani's head.

I was waiting for u to open the thread!! I loved yesterday's episode!! Very sensible one!! The issues raised were very realistic and the writing was also very sensible!! I liked the fact that they are highlighting family disputes which are very normal and real!! I hope they handle this track sensibly!!
Mr bhalla was not entirely wrong for what he saw when he entered the house but he should have listened to both of them before jumping to the conclusions.. But for me it was more of an emotional outburst than a logical one he will come around when he gets the complete picture!! What they shown yesterday was very peculiar with families where elder one is taken for granted if he is fulfiling all his responsibilities silently but the day he commands authority or tries to speak for himself they all start questioning him so my heart went out to raman for he was always righteous one in the family and has always fulfilled his duties of an elder brother but still after doing so much if he speaks for himself and for standing by what is right he has to face the wrath!! Raman was always the one who kept his feelings to himself he is very closed person that way he opens up only in front of his mother as we have seen twice before and i m glad he has found strong emptional support in his wife which herself is emotioanly very balanced person and can guide him well through this only because they are like minded when it comes to their family and both keep their family on top priority!! Today ishita's jagat mata attitude is only going to play a major part for which she was being critisised through out if today she behaves selfish i m sure the family wont stay united!! Thats the beauty of ishra however opposite they are to each other there are some values and beliefs which they both hold dear and important and one of them is their family's happiness and respect!! So they are again proving to be perfect for each other as they both together will turn the family around and bring peace back with their sensible and matured approach!!

Ps i did not like rinki calling ishita "iss aurat" aur itna hi problem hai mihirse as he is spineless toh chod do na fir apne bhai ke hi tukdo pe palna hoga kyunki uski khudki toh koi aukaad hai hi nahi!!

Thank you guys for the wonderful write ups.. After a long time yesterday's episode was rich in content... Yes as much as I love Ishra romance , YHM's real touch about relationship dynamics was one of the things that I loved when the show was at its prime.. It's good to see an episode like that.. I don't know whether the Cvs can follow it up with a nice closure ... But yesterday was all about raw emotions.

As some of you pointed out that Bhallaji's reaction could have been because of Raman's siding with shagun about the car...together with the fact that from his vantage point Raman was raising his hand on his married sister, asking him to get out from 'his house'. I get that but for him to not let Raman defend himself, or to ask Ishita to not talk between their conversation and the pre-cap was a bit far fetched in my eyes. Let's see where the Cvs take this.

As some of you said it might make IshRa realize that they need to prioritize their own life.. Ah well I would be surprised if that happens as people like Ishita and Raman are just built like that.. They take care of others.. That comes naturally to them. I just hope their family realize and appreciate a bit how much they do. But unfortunately in most cases they are taken so much for granted as the ones who would put family first, one time they chose something for themselves( Though Raman truly was ensuring security of EVERYONE in his family as he knew only Ishita will continue to take care of his family like he does, in his absence) all hell break loose. As much as Rinki is butchered, people like her are parts of every family who have a sense of entitlement to everything .. And people like bhallaji who draw quick conclusions without taking into consideration the entire picture.

I give the Cvs a vote of thanks for writing a meaningful episode.. Now if they can Please follow it up with a nice tight track closure .

One thing I forgot to mention.. Acting was fantastic yesterday with Karan taking the cake with his soulful, emotional acting.

Sorry guys I watched and made a post in a hurry after a long day.. Probably was not a good write up.. But you guys made up for what was lacking in the post with your insightful takes... I like when we have various reaction to a same scene as it gives multiple perspectives to one scene and enriches the watch.

Thank you guys for keeping it honest and respectful .

If you guys want I can open the thread before episode everyday and update it when I can.. But you guys can post and carry discussion ... Because I'll probably be late most days in opening the post..till our clock is changed come fall.

Please let me know.
