I fell in love with this odd couple when on the suggestion of one of my friends I watched the Condom / anti diarrhea med MU episode... 😆😆 I had not seen anything that's as hilarious without it being overtly crass in Indian Telly where slapstick comedy is more of a norm. And this was in Summer last year .. there was something in their fighting.. Something quite unique.. That made me go back and watch the episodes from beginning...and that facination still holds. If you ask me what is it about them that I'm so crazy about.. I really can't say. As I feel it's not just one thing.. It's a multiple of factors that sort of combined to make this imperfectly perfect couple more than perfect for me. Whether it's their chemistry .. Their character flaws😆 which often compete with each other for the 'how to not behave with your spouse' crown to their mushy gushy apologies, his one liners followed by her quick retort..somewhere in all the chaos that is their marriage somehow this khadoos Ravan kumar found his true match in his Jhansi ki Rani, madrasi Sherni .. And they match like two ill shaped puzzle pieces fitting perfectly in in nooks and edges.
Like he said today he was living a 'adha adhura ' life till she came and gave his rudderless life a meaningful direction and by her own admission he gave her true start of a life that she probably never dreamed to have .. One filled with love, acceptance and children.
And coming to think of it.. Their journey started under all the wrong circumstances.. But somehow pre-destined... So even they passed by each other as neighbors.. They couldn't be indifferent to each other.. They reacted albeit differently...but they did...
