We all sail in the same boat. For us IshRa are DivAn and DivAn are IshRa. No one could have played Raman and Ishita like them and got all the viewers mesmerized and addicted to the show even during the crappiest of all tracks.

These lines just came to me when I thought about this not so perfect fictional couple, it's not in meter nor does it rhyme but here it is nonetheless.

Adhoore se poore

Ladte jhagedte chal diye hum es zindegi ke raaste pe

Kabhi roote roote thokar khaye,

toh kabhi haskar marham lagaye

Kabhi pyar bhari raaton mein karvatein badli ,

toh kabhi din main sapne dekhe

Tumse milke kuch yun hua meri jaan,

Ki adhoore sapne bhi ab poore lagne lage.

What i appreciate about the characters of Raman and Ishita is that they are flawed, real and very human! All of us posses a tragic flaw, and so do these characters, it's just sad that they are not being explored fully. KP and DT are brilliant actors and bring so much spunk and vulnerability to the characters of Raman and Ishita.

Thank you for a beautiful post. This couple deserves all the gushing coming their way.. thats how beautiful these two are together.

I am a pretty late comer into the YHM land.. I think I started watching an year ago, in late last July. It was an IshRa scene that I came across when my MIL was watching.. though she religiously watched this show from the beginning, I never stopped to see what it was about. But this scene, Ishita was sitting on the bed with her face covered in a blanket and Raman walks in to see that it was covered in hives. The way he teases her and walks out of the room.. Ishita's reactions at seeing Raman's indifference and not caring attitude.. Raman comes back with a homemade lotion and applies it on her face and neck.. her tears at seeing him take such good care of her.. their talk, the intensity.. uff! That got me curious to say the least!

Then I went back and searched on the net and watched every episode from the beginning. I realized how wonderfully the story had been built.. South vs. North.. I loved Ru and her bonding with Ishita.. Raman and his arrogance.. I really felt for Raman everytime he cried.. loved Ishita for the way she handled her Khadoos kumar.. Ishita-Bala bonding.. Mihir-Mihika.. Vandu and her practicality.. I even loved Amma and Toshiji loud romance! hehe! Also Shagun and her style, Ashok and his antics, Param and his pervertness, Romi and his mistakes, I was hooked big time!

But most of all, I loved Karan and Divyanka portraying Raman and Ishita respectively. Yes, like most of you said, it is not easy separating IshRa from DivAn.. the actors brought life into these characters in such a way that sometimes it is difficult to imagine that they are not together in real life. Nothing including breakups and marriages in their real lives compromised their chemistry on screen. To this day when I see these two alone in the same frame, I automatically smile and gush. Whether they fight, or hurt each other, or comfort each other or romance each other seems to be secondary in my mind.. just that they are together seems to be enough.

The illogical tracks, the loud and OTT comedy, melodramatic sequences, repeated mistakes of the leads, etc can all be tolerated with a good IshRa episode.. they are therapeutic after all the mess of the tracks! To me, it was evident that they were in love and that they knew about it.. so I did not feel the need for a confession as well.. though I am glad we got it. Now, the consummation being delayed indefinitely is just one more illogical sequence which apparently the CVs think is funny.. but anything for IshRa!

Once again I want to thank the topic maker, Anu, for this wonderfully positive topic and giving me space to gush away as well. Also to all the wonderfully nostalgic pics, collages and gifs by all my friends on this thread.. a big hug and a thank you for bringing back the memories. I would like to request all the talented creators on the forum the gifs/collages of the lotion scene I mentioned above.

I love everything about Ishra. EVERYTHING
I fell in love with the promo and was prepared to see it for a while and then quit. The usual thing with all EK shows.
I have to give it to her though for having a great eye for making such good jodis.

Ishra are so imperfectly perfect that it makes them even more lovable.
They are a lot like me and my hubby 😆 😆
Probably just a role reversal (hiding face)

Their love is so real n pure. The understanding they have for each other is so so good.
The things that are actually needed for a marriage to work. They may fight like idiots but that's also coz they both have a mind of their own and don't want to just nod a yes for whatever the other says.
But they also can't do without each other.
They have worked against almost all the issues together. Almost every couple will disagree at times n fight but they work around it and thats what has made Ishra so endearing.

Their chemistry is so so good that it sets ur screens on fire 😆
Take any of their romantic moments and ull know 😳

my only complaint is with the cvs... they have a gold mine here and they refuse to make the most of it 😕
the couple has so much passion and desire but by delaying the consummation they're just making a big fat joke out of it.
I don't know what they're waiting for... and why 😲
I heard somewhere that it will happen only before the leap happens
Well then in that case I don't think even Divyanka and Karan will be able to hold the show.
If the insiders take the trouble to read this beautiful post they will know the love and admiration ppl have for this couple and the reason people watch this show.

ISHRA - THE IMPERFECTLY PERFECT JODI

I first saw the promo with just Ruhanika and Duvyanka and fell in love with it 😳

Then I saw another promo which had Karan Patel and felt...ohh no I don't like him much..chodo 🤣 🤣

I saw the first few episodes and felt yes this is an EK show so it's going to be good the first few months so fine enjoy whatever.

The I saw that newspaper scene and I was like. Ohhhkkk 😆

That scene at the coffee shop where they agree to marry "RUHI KE LIYE" I loved so much that I was sure I wanted to see this journey 😳

I love everything about them. Fights, Nokjhoks, Care and Understanding and Ofcourse most of all

Their Romance ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Karan and Divyanka are so good at playing Raman and Ishita that it's almost real at times 😛 I can't imagine anyone else playing this role. I can't imagine Raman or Ishita with anyone else ever 😛 They are PERFECT.

U put them together in one frame and it's a treat.

They come together for a romantic scene and ur screen is on fire 😆.

I swear I'm not lying 😳
