Yes, it contradicts with the basic premise of the show. Guess that's why CVs had shown Ishita like this at the time of marriage anniversary celebration when Raman suddenly popped up her medical report regarding pregnancy. She was content being Ru's mother and didn't want a biolgical kid of her own at that time.

Since it's not a finite show, they need IshRa baby to move the story ahead. By observing Ishita's recent expressions its clear that now she too wants a biological child of her own. As you rightly said it contradicts with the show's basic concept ( I didn't mean Ishita wanting a baby contradicts the basic concept but showing an IshRa biological kid does: just an FYI for the outsiders as this thread is heavily stalked 😳) , however CVs don't really care about it. What they do care about is the relationship equation between Ruhi and Ishima.

CVs with their delusional mind think that Ishita openly wanting a baby will look bad on eternal IshRu relationship.(!!) Perhaps for this reason we'll never see Ishita openly expressing her desire for a biological child. As I earlier mentioned we might see Ishita craving for a baby after IshRa strarting their conjugal life by all means; well, that might be shown on surface only. It will mainly be either Raman or Toshiji who will be the driving force to go for IshRa baby, in this way CVs will kill two birds with one stone. 😆

@Bold: True that. That' why CVs are showing Raman's current baby chants to give Ishita the much needed leverage. 😆

Agree with your POV...

For me, after a long time, the feel of watching YHM at 11 pm slot was there. During the 11 pm slot, each situation was thought in-depth and the closure, generally made sense. Today that feel was there, about the camera situation, ISHRA talking about parenting, both admitting their short comings, Ishita apologizing to Adi (my mom does that to us, if she finds out she made an error, it makes us the children feel blessed) and most importantly the conversation between the characters.

After a long time, both Raman and Ishita portrayed their character with the inner brilliance that started YHM soaring...

The funny scenes and Bala, Sharvu... a good one. Oh yes! ACP took advantage of the situation to hug Madam Mihika... (that pair has chemistry going on for them...)
