On the way back In the car raman tried to talk to ishita several times but he knew his attempts were futile as forget answering him back , ishita was not even looking at him in the eye and he knew he deserved this treatment from her side as today what he had done was wrong though unintentional. Awkward silence hung around them which was uneasy most for him as he had never felt the silences between them to be so disturbing, he found them soothing and understanding instead but today it was not that silence. Giving up on everything else, he decided to follow the mad crazy idea which had come to him when they were leaving from the party and he realized he had to implement it as there was no other choice.
When they were around half a way to their home , raman stopped his car in the middle of a street which had less but still decent people around and asked ishita straight-" tumne kabhi baarish mein aise sadak par dance kiya hai?"
Ishita was shocked and just angrily said-" nahi aur Mujhe karne ka koyi mood bhi nahi hai , gadi kyun roki hai raman , chalo its getting late."
Raman knew she was showing anger and wanted it as much as he did and so without wasting anytime , he stepped out into heavily pouring rain and came infront of ishita's side, opened her door and extended his hand out to her asking," theek hai tumhe nahi karna , but mere liye kar lo plz, mera bohot mann tha , hamesha se aise paaglon ki tarah logon ke saamne baarish mein sadak par naachne ka so plzzz and meri iss crazy si wish kp poora karne ke liye ek crazy madrasan se better partner nahi mil sakta Mujhe , hai na?"
ishita prompted back saying, " ab bhi taane , main crazy, huh, Mujhe nahi karna raavan kumar , u go ahead."
"plzzz ishita plz plz plz" raman cajoled her and she was surprised as she had seen raavan kumar saying please for so many times and behaving like dis for first time.
And he pouted like a kid asking for lollipop and though ishita did not want to but his eyes did something to her in that moment and as if in a trance, she gave her hand in his extended one and stepped out in rain to dance. Car doors were open and they both started dancing romantically as the stereo played
Saanson ko jeene ka ishara mil gaya
Dooba main tujhmein toh kinara mil gaya
The people around them stopped and started watching the mad couple providing free entertainment to them in heavy rain while the couple was oblivious to their surroundings as they swayed to the music lost in each others arms and eyes. Raman's hands held ishita and ishita held raman's shoulders protectively as if never to let go as they looked into each others eyes

Rain started pouring even more heavily but neither of them thought abt it, raman held ishita's hand and twirled her around him till she crashed against his chest and they had an intense eyelock

Mere har dard ki gehrayi ko mehsoos karta hai tu
Teri aankhon se gham tera Mujhe maloom hone laga
They kept swaying to the music and conversing through eyes as if raman answering all her complaints silently and ishita was taking all in without blinking

As the song ended and the crowd roared into round of applause for the couple , ishra came out of their trance and got awkward abt their 2nd performance for the evening though this one was in front of complete strangers who must have been thinking they have gone mad. They bowed down in filmy style and got back into the car wid a smile on their lips.
Ishita's slight smile did not go unnoticed by raman and he knew it was the right time to express his thoughts and so while driving , he held her hand and looked at her through the corner of the eyes saying-"ishita tum Mujhe irritate kar sakti ho, gussa dila sakti ho, competition de sakti ho, smile karwa sakti ho, ladne par majboor kar sakti ho aur sab kuch kara sakti ho but u can never ever embarrass me yaar , tum meri sharmindgi ki wajah nahi ban sakti kyunki I am proud of u ishita , proud of what u r , proud of u being my beti's mom and my wife so never ever say that."
Although his words cud be fake but ishita cud hear and see a sincerity abt his words and eyes and she believed him wid no further delay and said-" its ok raman , maybe I overreacted. I m sorry if i..."
She cud nt complete as raman said-" nop u dnt need to be sorry and ya madrasan ab toh tum manogi hi na kyunki agar tum bhi jaanti ho ki agar tum Mujhe embarrass kartin toh main aise paaglon ki tarah filmon ke hero heroine ki tarah naachta nahi , hai na madrasan bolo ?" and he winked at her and she cud not help a blush sneaking on her face.
She just said-" haan I know raavan kumar ko apni izzat bohot pyaari hai ... but really thank u raman for making me feel this way, thank u sooo much." She smiled at him greatfully.
Raman was content seeing that smile on her face and just said-" u r most welcome ishita and u deserve it completely so anytime."
And then smiling at each other looking at each other wid trusting eyes they headed home wid a silent promise to face all problems together and be together always not realizing when this evening had taken their relationship to next level.
